Technological developments have a major impact on world businesses, such as technology-based companies. These changes also encourage for several adjustment in accounting scope. Therefore, educators are expected to be able to convey accounting knowledge in terms of its application concept in company business processes. To help delivering accounting skills, educators can use management methods in the form of active learning that focuses class activities in the active participation of each student. The purpose of this activity is for training educators to be able to apply appropriate active learning methods in accounting learning materials at SMA/SMK. When the training was conducted, each participant is invited to discuss and try to apply active learning methods. In addition, presenter also explain the data about effectiveness of active learning implementation which is shown through increasing students' understanding of the material being taught. At the end, discussions and trainings of active learning methods could provide new ideas for participants to deliver more varied subject matter.

This research presents one of many possibilities of how to check and repeat knowledge at the end of the school year and at the same time provide an answer to questions often asked by students who are disinterested in learning mathematics: "Where will we need it?" or "Why do we learn this?" To provide them with an answer and motivate them at the same time, this research focused on actively encouraging students to find the answers themselves and thus find the importance of learning mathematics. With a changed way of repeating and consolidating the material at the end of the school year, the aim of this research is to reduce the fear of mathematics and increase the motivation of students in the following year. Students, divided into groups, choose the topic or examples of the use of mathematical knowledge of the first year of secondary technical and professional education in everyday life, and thus shape the learning situation (LS). The goal of preparing the LS is for students to make sense of the subject matter with examples from everyday life. For the selected LS, they prepare a short story with tasks that they solve by calculation, prepare presentations and also, present the LS to the classmates. During the formation of the LS and the preparation of presentations, students are active (active learning methods: task search, knowledge of the subject matter, interviews, problem solving, use of mathematical applications, teamwork, problem solving…) and cooperate with each other. They are constantly developing more 21st century competencies (self-regulation, collaboration, problem solving) and digital competencies. With the formation of the LS, the world of mathematical knowledge gets a little closer to students, they lose their fear of mathematics and become more motivated. Keywords: learning situations, collaborative work, active learning methods, mathematics in everyday life, deviation from the established

Learning is influenced by several components, such as educators, learners, learning materials, learning methods, infrastructure and the environment. Learning method has a very important role for the achievement of goals, because without methods, the subject matter can not be delivered effectively. Among the methods that are effective in education on the subjects of Akidah Akhlak is the story method. The technique used in this method is to reveal historical events originating from the Qur'an containing moral, spiritual, and social values, both on stories of goodness and injustice. This is a qualitative research and the main data is related to Akidah Akhlak Learning of in MAN 2 Banyumas. The data were obtained through observation, interview and documentation. The application of story method in akidah akhlak learning in MAN 2 Banyumas represents a variation in the learning process and is expected to help educators in delivering the subject matter. through this method, students will be moremore enthusiastic and more easily understand the material during the learning process.

ABSTRACT We report the results of a study to examine the effectiveness of active versus passive learning methods in the accounting information systems area. Two groups of students completed an assignment under two active learning conditions (individual and cooperative), while a third group covered the same topic in a passive lecture. Our findings indicate support for active learning, measured through student performance on exam questions and student feedback on a questionnaire. However, compared to passive learners, we find significantly improved exam performance only for students who work individually in an active environment. Students in the cooperative active environment posted exam scores that were not statistically different from passive participants' scores. Students in both individual and cooperative active environments reported positive feedback on satisfaction, perceived learning, and effectiveness of the method. We conclude that active learning enhances student outcomes, particularly for those who work individually. Data Availability: Data are available upon request.

An experience theory is required if the education is to be wisely carried out (John Dewey). Education is a discipline that saves lives if it is qualified, but loss of which could not be made up throughout generations if it is not qualified. The roots of society are based on the education, and educated masses and civilizations could either move into the future or could fall behind in the race of becoming civilized. The classical education notion which stays on the level of theory and is carried out, centering the teacher is being left by the developed countries and replaced with the education notion which centers the student and structures information by benefiting from experiences, thus aims to lead civilization race with citizens knowing the ways to reach the information and aware of their duties and responsibilities. While Kurt Lewin says nothing is as practical as a good theory, he also catches attention to the new education notion centering student that has changed and is changing. In this scope, the aim of this study is analyze how often active learning methods are used by history teachers through several variables. In the light of the data, after analysis results and explanations made in accordance with these results are written, the study is concluded with suggestions

A long-standing ideal of school education has been to connect instruction to a student’s life outside school in order to render subject matter interesting. New technologies enable instructors to personalize learning materials to increase situational interest. After distinguishing three main methods to personalize education (context personalization, choice, and active personalization), we review recent intervention studies designed to increase situational interest, which is necessary for the emergence of individual interest. Across all three kinds of interventions, some studies point to the possibility of increasing interest for students low in initial interest. Despite progress in developing personalized interventions for school practice, research on the theoretical mechanisms behind the success of the interventions has just begun.
