This research is aimed to examine the gender difference toward intention to use the mobile banking application in Semarang. Data is collected by self -  administered questionnaire, and pass over to bank customer which done their financial transaction by Automatic Teller Machine. The Sample used in this research is 50 respondents, consist of 30 male respondents and 20 female respondents who never have a mobile banking application before. The results of this study indicate that there is a gender difference in the intention to use mobile banking applications. On the other side, even it is easy to be used, female customers are not feeling the benefit offered, thus resistant to use mobile banking applications. This result brings another contradiction toward The Technological Acceptance Model. Data is examined by the SPSS application, and Mann – Whitney statistical model. Keywords: Mobile application; bank; gender difference

This study empirically investigates the impact of personal innovativeness on Intention to Use (IU) Social Networking Sites (SNS).The theoretical perspective of Technological Acceptance Model (TAM) and Personal Innovativeness of Information Technology (PIIT) were used to explain the relationships developed in the study. This research is descriptive in nature and based on primary data collected through a self-administered questionnaire, administered to a sample of 216 undergraduates in Sri Lanka. Findings reconfirmed the relationships in original TAM, enabling to use TAM in SNS context. Further, we found PIIT is significant in predicting IU SNS. Theoretical and practical implications of these findings and directions for further research are discussed.

Evolution of technology is a swift process, however, its acceptance and adoption in the society is slackened despite its promising results. Internet / mobile banking is a technological way of conducting banking transactions. The purpose of the current study is to find out the affect of various factors effecting successful adoption of internet   / mobile banking using TAM, technological acceptance model in Pakistan, especially rural areas of the country. Results of the current study obtained using regression analysis reveals that the effect of perceived usefulness and security is significant on internet / mobile banking attitude where attitude significantly impact on intentions to use internet / mobile banking. Also due to the cultural effect this modern banking is not compatible with the lifestyle of rural population of Pakistan though the population widely acknowledged its usefulness.

The purpose of this paper is to identify the factors that influence the acceptance and use of mobile banking among users in Medellín (Colombia). The factors we propose are built upon on seven constructs (customer service and support, perceived attitude, perceived usefulness, ease of use, perceived trust, intention to use, and perceived security), which were developed based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the literature. We collected the data from 220 questionnaires self-administered by mobile banking users in Medellín. Subsequently, we conducted a confirmatory factor analysis to determine the correlation between the set of observed variables and the constructs defined in the proposed acceptance model. We empirically conclude that the use of mobile banking among the population under study is mainly influenced by users’ perceived usefulness, perceived trust, and ease of use. The results show a strong correlation between perceived trust and perceived security and between perceived usefulness and intention to use.

This study aims to (a) identify perception factors that affect current mobile banking (M-banking) consumers’ continuous use of the technology, (b) explain the self-service technology (STT) dimensions that affect customers’ behavioral intention, and (c) be able to offer recommendations to the banking industry or other organizations related to M-banking in terms of developing M-banking services in the future. Analyzed data were collected from 688 existing Thai M-banking users through online questionnaires. This study used the SPSS and AMOS statistical programs to analyze the data by applying structural equation modeling based on SSTs’ service qualities and the technology acceptance model (TAM). From the results, this analysis shows positive and significant relationships among SSTs’ service qualities, perception, and sustainable intention to use M-banking services. This study provides vital knowledge related to essential characteristics of M-banking as an STT that could assist banking institutions and application providers in enhancing their M-banking products. Moreover, this study adds to the knowledge area of SSTs’ service qualities in financial mobile application dimensions.

The purpose of this study is to investigate factors affecting the consumers intention to use Mobile Banking. A survey was used to collect data from 86 samples from all smartphone device owners and has been experienced with Mobile Banking applications. The proposed Mobile Banking implementation Model In this study is based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and mobile service Quality (MSQ). Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is used to analyze data. The results reveal that the ease of use, usability and quality of service to the use of Mobile Banking positively influential. Therefore, the Bank should emphasize the strategy to increase the benefits of Mobile Banking perception by prioritizing this factor into decision making.

Nowadays, new tools and technologies are emerging rapidly. They are often used cross-culturally before being tested for suitability and validity. However, they would be validated to ensure that they work with all users, not just part of them. Mobile banking (as a new technology tool) has been introduced assuming that it performs well concerning authentication among all members of the society. We aim to validate mobile banking intention to use, through Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), focused on security, in Arabic countries, namely Yemen. The results confirm the previous studies that have shown the importance of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness.
