Microelectronic payment systems are speedily replacing the ordinary modes of payment. Electronic payment systems require online financial transactions that utilize some digital financial devices. They have allowed government, businesses, and financial institutions to propose a multiple of payment opportunities to their customers. These payment opportunities include charge account credit, master card, mobile banking, and automatic teller machine and payments bills through the mobile. Mobile financial services (MFS) performed a crucial role within the present online business and other business and financial services performed within the busy and pandemic world. The study is empirical in nature of MFS and its implications in Bangladesh. Finally, the study presents an overview of challenges and prospects of MFS in Bangladesh, focusing on some development strategies for policy holders. Researchers propose how MFS operators solve the MFS-related problems, overcome the challenges, satisfy the customers, and increase their service.

Elektronik banking (e-banking) adalah layanan yang memungkinkan nasabah bank untuk memperoleh informasi, melakukan komunikasi, dan melakukan transaksi perbankan melalui alternative delivery channel media elektronik seperti Automatic Teller Machine (ATM), phone banking, electronic fundtransfer (EFT), electronic data capture (EDC)/point of sales (POS), internet banking, dan mobile banking.Bagi bank, e-banking pendapatan berbasis komisi (fee based income) dan mengurangi biaya operasional apabila dibandingkan dengan pelayanan tranksaksi melalui kantor cabang yang relatif besar untuk membayar karyawan, sewa gedung, pengamana, listrik dan lainnya.Bagi otoritas, perkembangan teknologi e-banking mendorong mewujudkan masyarakat less cash society. Less cash society adalah gaya hidup denganmenggunakan media transaksi atau uang elektronik dalam bertransaksi sehingga tidak perlu membawa uang fisik. Less cash society selain dapat meningkatkan sistem pembayaran yang cepat, aman, dan efesien, untuk mempercepat perputaran aktivitas ekonomi dan stabilitas sistem keuangan, juga dapat mencegah tindak pidana criminal maupun tindak pidana pencucian uang. Sehingga menimbulkan feedback baik kepada bank dan otoritas dari penggunaan e-banking yang di nikmati oleh masyarakat dalam kebutuhan bertransaksi.

Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) are still largely used to dispense cash to the customers. ATM cash replenishment is a process of refilling ATM machine with a specific amount of cash. Due to vacillating users demands and seasonal patterns, it is a very challenging problem for the financial institutions to keep the optimal amount of cash for each ATM. In this paper, we present a time series model based on Auto Regressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) technique called Time Series ARIMA Model for ATM (TASM4ATM). This study used ATM back-end refilling historical data from 6 different financial organizations in Pakistan. There are 2040 distinct ATMs and 18 month of replenishment data from these ATMs are used to train the proposed model. The model is compared with the state-of- the-art models like Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) and Amazon’s DeepAR model. Two approaches are used for forecasting (i) Single ATM and (ii) clusters of ATMs (In which ATMs are clustered with similar cash-demands). The Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) and Symmetric Mean Absolute Percentage Error (SMAPE) are used to evaluate the models. The suggested model produces far better forecasting as compared to the models in comparison and produced an average of 7.86/7.99 values for MAPE/SMAPE errors on individual ATMs and average of 6.57/6.64 values for MAPE/SMAPE errors on clusters of ATMs.

Nowadays, the necessity and utilization of Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) technologies increase in rural areas.  Financial technology became a crucial thing and created efficiency in their activities. Some previous research uncovers technology that could create efficiency in the economy, including financial technology. This paper, interest in investigating and detect how ATM technology establishes financial efficiency on villagers. This research was conducted in rural communities on the island of Madura, Indonesia. This study uses SFA (Stochastic Frontier Analysis) model to estimate technical efficiency. This research found out that ATMs in rural communities on Madura Island produce highly financial efficiency. It proved that the villagers in Madura need ATM technology for carrying out their economic activities.

Jasa yang diberikan oleh pihak perbankan tentunya juga sangat berperan penting didalamnya, selain memberikan kemudahan ternyata hal tersebut juga mempunyai kelemahan-kelemahan yang secara tidak langsung akan merugikan nasabah pengguna jasa dan perbankan yang memberikan pelayanan jasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana tanggung jawab dan perlindungan hukum terhadap nasabah pada transaksi Automatic Teller Machine dan upaya hukum yang dapat dilakukan oleh nasabah pengguna kartu Automatic Teller Machine dalam memperoleh hak-haknya apabila terjadi kerugian dalam penggunaan Automatic Teller Machine. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian normatif yuridis, yakni penelitian yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan pada norma atau substansi hukum, asas hukum, dalil-dalil hukum dan perbandingan hukum, dengan menggunakan pendekatan konseptual yang merupakan suatu jenis pendekatan di dalam penelitian hukum yang memberi sudut pandang analisa terhadap penyelesaian permasalahan dalam penelitian hukum, yang dilihat dari aspek dan konsep-konsep hukum yang melatarbelakanginya, bahkan bisa juga  dilihat dari nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam penormaan sebuah peraturan yang sekaitan dengan konsep-konsep yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bank bertanggung jawab penuh terhadap kesalahan yang mengakibatkan kerugian terhadap nasabah. Dan upaya hukum yang dapat dilakukan yakni melakukan pengaduan yang dilakukan secara tertulis yang disampaikan kepada bank.

AbstrakTerminal Sei Ambawang sebagai Terminal Antar Lintas Batas Negara (ALBN) yang terletak di Provinsi Kalimantan Barat dibangun untuk meningkatkan konektivitas antarwilayah, baik di dalam negeri maupun dengan wilayah negara tetangga dan meningkatkan pelayanan bagi para pengguna bus dan terminal. Keberadaan Terminal Sei Ambawang diharapkan dapat memudahkan masyarakat dalam mengakses wilayah negara tetangga untuk mendongkrak kegiatan perekonomian maupun sosial. Penelitian ini menganalisis kinerja pelayanan bus dengan melibatkan sebanyak 31 indikator yang dikaji dan Terminal Sei Ambawang sebanyak 41 indikator yang dikaji menggunakan Indeks Kepuasan Masyarakat (IKM). Pengukuran dilakukan terhadap 60 responden menggunakan skala Likert. Dari hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa tingkat kepuasan pengguna terhadap kinerja pelayanan bus dan terminal di Terminal Sei Ambawang masing-masing sebesar 74,54% dan 71,73%. Hal ini menandakan bahwa para pengguna bus dan terminal merasa puas terhadap kinerja pelayanan di Terminal Sei Ambawang. Atribut tertinggi dalam kepuasan kinerja pelayanan bus adalah keahlian pengemudi dan kemudahan mendapatkan tiket dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,01 sehingga atribut tersebut perlu dijaga kualitasnya, sedangkan nilai IKM terendah terletak pada atribut tanda pengenal bagasi dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 2,7. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan kinerja pelayanan bus ke depannya, pihak operator bus perlu memberikan tanda pengenal bagasi pada setiap barang bawaan para penumpang yang berisi identitas penumpang agar mudah dikenali, tidak tertukar, dan terjamin keamanannya. Di sisi lain, atribut tertinggi dalam kepuasan kinerja pelayanan terminal meliputi atribut kondisi jalur kedatangan bus, rambu/petunjuk dalam terminal, dan keteraturan sistem naik turun penumpang dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,13. Hal ini menandakan bahwa ketiga atribut tersebut dalam kondisi baik dan memadai. Namun, atribut keberadaan Anjungan Tunai Mandiri (ATM) merupakan atribut dengan nilai IKM terendah, yaitu sebesar 2,10. Dengan demikian, pihak penyelenggara Terminal Sei Ambawang perlu menyediakan fasilitas ATM untuk perbaikan kinerja pelayanan terminal ke depannya.Kata kunci: Sei Ambawang, kinerja pelayanan bus dan terminal, dan Indeks Kepuasan Masyarakat (IKM)AbstractService Performance of Bus and Inter-State Border Terminal of Sei Ambawang: Sei Ambawang Terminal as an Inter-State Border (ALBN) Terminal located in West Kalimantan Province was built to improve connectivity between regions, both domestically and with neighboring countries and to improve services for bus and terminal users. The existence of the Sei Ambawang Terminal is expected to facilitate the community in accessing neighboring countries to boost economic and social activities. This study analyzed the performance of bus services by involving 31 indicators studied and Sei Ambawang Terminal of 41 indicators using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The measurement was made on 60 respondents using a Likert scale. From the results, it is known that the levels of user satisfaction on the performance of bus and terminal services in the Sei Ambawang Terminal were 74.54% and 71.73% respectively. It indicates that bus and terminal users were satisfied with the service performance at Sei Ambawang Terminal. The highest attributes in bus service performance satisfaction were the drivers’ expertise and ease in getting tickets with an average value of 3.01 so that the quality of the attributes need to be maintained, while the lowest CSI value was the attribute of baggage identification with an average value of 2.7. Therefore, to improve the performance of bus service, it needs to provide baggage identification on each passenger’s luggage containing passenger data so that they are easily recognized, not exchanged, and safety guaranteed. On the other hand, the highest attributes in the satisfaction of terminal service performance included the attributes of bus arrival lane conditions, signs/directions in the terminal, and the regularity of load and unload passenger’s system with an average value of 3.13. It indicates that the three attributes were in good and adequate condition. However, the attribute of the Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) was at the lowest CSI value, which was 2.10. Therefore, the operator of Sei Ambawang Terminal needs to provide ATM facilities to improve the performance of the terminal services in the future.Keywords: Sei Ambawang, bus and terminal service performance, and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).

This paper focuses on how to enhanced security of Transactions in Automatic Teller Machine system using a multi-factor authentication system (Password and Fingerprint). In order to achieve security and to overcome illegal activities, shortcoming of piracy in money transactions, we propose the idea of using fingerprints of customers and password instead of traditional use of PIN number. After authorized verification, the customer will be able to proceed for transaction else after four successive wrong attempts, the ATM card will be ejected automatically and a message will be sent to the registered mobile number. The proposed system is developed to provide better security to the ATMs. Keywords— ATM, Fingerprint, PIN, Biometric.

This research is aimed to examine the gender difference toward intention to use the mobile banking application in Semarang. Data is collected by self -  administered questionnaire, and pass over to bank customer which done their financial transaction by Automatic Teller Machine. The Sample used in this research is 50 respondents, consist of 30 male respondents and 20 female respondents who never have a mobile banking application before. The results of this study indicate that there is a gender difference in the intention to use mobile banking applications. On the other side, even it is easy to be used, female customers are not feeling the benefit offered, thus resistant to use mobile banking applications. This result brings another contradiction toward The Technological Acceptance Model. Data is examined by the SPSS application, and Mann – Whitney statistical model.Keywords: Mobile application; bank; gender difference

Everyone in many banks has many types of bank accounts, people need to bring a lot of ATM cards for their transaction, manytypes of PINs for each account.In the current system, ATM machine user identification systems depend only on bank ATM cards, safety secret pin code, and also such kind of user ID verification methods which measures are not optimal and sometimes there are incidents where we dismiss our secret security PIN code, lose ATM cards, rob ATM cards, stolen secret PIN code.Weare presenting a fresh concept or idea for the ATM machine user identification scheme, "Multi-banking Automatic TellerMachine Transaction System by Utilizing GSM and Biometric Identification with One Single Touch" to get control of theissues in the current ATM machine system. On the base of fingerprint identification method which is also one of most securesystems, unofficial accesses are blocked, as it makes fingerprint technique a unique recognition for every user. Our introducedsystem also assures a very secure GSM and OTP based transaction deals. The presented scheme has no hazard in managingmany account transaction deals and performs high-level security, compared to the current ATM machine scheme.
