The structural properties of ferroelectric films of barium titanate-stannate on alumina substrates and the microwave characteristics of planar capacitive elements based on them are studied. It is established that the composition of the gas medium and the temperature of the substrate during the deposition of the film has a significant effect on the crystal structure, phase composition of the films and their electrical characteristics. Planar capacitors based on films subjected to high-temperature annealing after deposition exhibit 85% tunability at a frequency of 2 GHz, which is the best result for today.

The structural properties of ferroelectric films of barium titanate-stannate on the sapphire substrates and the microwave characteristics of planar capacitors on their base are investigated. It was found that the composition of the gas ambient during the deposition of the film has a significant effect on the crystal structure, the phase composition of the films and their electrical characteristics. A low level of dielectric loss of planar capacitors with high tunability based on films of barium titanate stannate in the frequency range of 2-60 GHz was demonstrated.

The influence of Al-Mg-Sc ingots and Al-Cu-Li semi-finished products heat treatment modes on structure, phase composition, and crystal structure was studied. Based on EBSD and EDS data, the difference of the sample microstructures was detected and the most favorable annealing mode for further deformation was presumed.

AbstractHigh temperature annealing in vacuum, air, hydrogen, chlorine, and ammonia are described as a means to change surface chemistry and phase composition of nanodiamond powders of three different grades, which have different sp2/sp3 carbon ratios. The changes in surface chemistry and phase composition of the powders are analyzed using Raman spectroscopy and Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) spectroscopy. Advantages and limitation of high-temperature treatment techniques as well as potential applications of the gas-treated nanodiamond powders are discussed.
