The article is devoted to the development of a mathematical model for the analysis of functioning interferonogenic supply chain of textile products. A mathematical model and method of analysis of the functioning of an integrated supply chain of textile products are proposed. A mathematical model contributing to cost reduction in the supply chain of textile products is recommended. The results show that the mathematical model of optimization of placement textile enterprises promotes the decrease of the expenses in the supply chain. The designated model will not only be helpful for managers and enterprises related to textiles, but also for other fields dealing with logistics and supply chains in planning and organization of transport processes.

The bullwhip effect was caused by fuzzy demand among the enterprises. In order to reduce this effect, control theory was applied to solve the inventory in supply chain. Firstly, inventory control in supply chain and the bullwhip effect was researched. Secondly, a kind of proportional integral differential (PID) controller was developed for inventory control in a three-level supply chain, and the mathematical model of the PID controller for inventory control was presented. Finally, the results show that the PID controller can evidently alleviate the bullwhip effect and inventory fluctuations under the suitable combination of control gain.

The objective of this chapter is to discuss the concept and practices of cyber supply chains (CSC) in the manufacturing context. Technological advancements are drastically transforming the manufacturing industry, which in turn drives the need for a digitally integrated supply chain. While CSC has its share of benefits, it is also vulnerable to cyber threats. In order to mitigate the risks, comprehensive security measures must be undertaken in the areas of technology, organization, governance, and culture, and they must be integrated into the company's established risk management processes. To ensure a resilient CSC, all members of the supply chain network must play a role to protect their respective systems from potential breach.

The estimation of RFID in the support of supply chains of aircraft parts is of growing interest and is analyzed, especially in the proposed analytical model of this paper. This model helps us pick up a superior comprehension of the connections between different expenses brought about and the RFID impact on an aircraft support following procedure. Utilizing a RFID system, the company specialized in aircraft parts can accumulate savings. For this we need to consider that technology can remove inaccuracy in inventory delays brought about by mishandling in the component repair. This contextual analysis represents wonder through the utilization of numerical suppositions, highlighting the advantages of RFID. Furthermore, the estimation of RFID in aircraft maintenance is assessed utilizing sensitivity analysis, as per the parameters of the model of expense decreases in misusing repair parts and inventory control. The discoveries support the industry acceptance of RFID innovation, demonstrating that this is beneficial to support organizations of aircraft parts. Finally, in this paper we are considering the mishandling of the damaged parts of the air craft and also the cost reduction and the mishandling of the inventory parts. A sensitivity analysis is also carried out for the parameters that are used for the decrease in the utilizing the parts, cost reduction and the inventory control.

This paper explores a neoteric approach to geometric shipment policy and concerns the impact of controllable lead time, setup cost reduction, lost sales caused by stock-out and freight cost within an integrated vendor–buyer supply chain configuration using service-level constraint. In particular, the transportation cost is a function of shipping weight, distance and transportation modes. In other words, truckload (TL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments. A heuristic model is developed to minimize the joint expected total cost (JETC), when the mode of transportation is limited to TL and LTL shipments. Numerical examples including the sensitivity analysis with some managerial insights of system parameters is implemented to endorse the outcome of the supply chain models.

The strategic members of collaborative supply chain have been looking for actions to synchronize their links. The purpose is to improve the customer service and fulfill the challenges of the globalized competitiveness. This trend is known as integrated supply chain and improves the companies performance as a whole. In this paper, an integration model of collaborative supply chain was developed considering the strategical, tactical and operational perspectives. To implement it, a measurement instrument was designed and validated statistically. Also a mathematical model using fuzzy logic was designed and applied among 36 small, medium and large Mexican companies to determine their integration level and propose specific actions that allow them to improve it.
