Research on teachers’ perceptions about diversity is key to understanding the different approaches to be implemented to build inclusive education. Within this framework, the perceptions and attitudes of 73 students in the Mathematics specialization of the University Master’s Degree in Teacher Training for Secondary Education, Bachillerato, Vocational Training and Language Teaching (Máster Universitario en Profesorado de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria, Formación Profesional y Enseñanza de Idiomas (MAES) at the University of Granada (Spain) were analyzed to determine their views about the initial training they received on attention to diversity during the Master’s program. The study is a descriptive and correlational-predictive transversal examination of the responses obtained from the “Questionnaire for preservice secondary education teachers on perceptions about attention to diversity” (Colmenero Ruiz and Pegalajar Palomino, 2015). The findings demonstrate that the students—preservice secondary education teachers—held favorable attitudes toward diversity and the principle of inclusion. The findings also show that contact with persons with disability influences perception of this population. The authors conclude that better training and knowledge of the elements that condition the teaching–learning process for high-quality attention to diversity predict better pedagogical preparation in matters of attention to diversity.

The present study is an investiagtion of distance teaching as an alternative to in-person classes during a lockdown. The study aims at unveiling the teachers and students’ perceptions and attitudes towards e-teaching/learning during a pandemic crisis. As an alternative to face -to face interviews with the teachers and the students because of the sanitary conditions, the tools have been adapted to existing conditions. To obtain data, two tools have been used online, a semi- structured interview with (n 51) master students and a lickert scale questionnaire for (n 18) teachers in the department of English in the university Abdelhamid Ibn Badis in Algeria.Findings revealed the reluctance in the exclusive use of distance teaching by the majority of teachers and the students. The great majority of them also prefers in person classes. This is justified by technical difficulties, lack of comprehension, poor internet flow and a lack of training.

Currently, teaching takes place in highly diverse social, educational and cultural environments. Understanding and accepting this fact has allowed that pre-service and in-service teaching training be taught as education for diversity. It is in this sense that the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional Francisco Morazán (UPNFM, Pedagogical University Francisco Morazán) has, in a recent curricular reform, included a generic and transverse competency to contribute to the training of the University faculty, so that they can appreciate and understand diversity as an enriching asset of the educational process. The main objective of this research is to identify the level of development of this competency to propose a strategy to visualize inclusive education as transverse knowledge. This project was developed from the perspective of research for improvement and decision making, using a mixed methodology and collecting data through the analysis of documents, in-depth interviews, and a questionnaire. The participants in the study were 225 students, who were in their professional internship II, and eight professors from the General Ed courses. The results showed that UPNFM, in its curricular offer, has achieved great improvements as for the training of their faculty members regarding attention to diversity by incorporating in its curriculum a competency linked to an inclusive education. However, both members of the faculty and students pointed out that they did not have the skills to apply teaching strategies suitable to deal with diversity. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the process of curricular implementation through ongoing training of university professors.

Descriptores: Aprendizaje inverso, clase invertida, integración, aprendizaje audiovisual Abstract This article reveals the pedagogical experience in the implementation of the Flipped Classroom methodology or inverted class in the academic formation of the second edition of the Master's program in Didactics that takes place at the University of Artemisa, Cuba. All this is based on the application of theoretical level methods that allowed systematizing the theoretical-methodological references about the Flipped Classroom. This implementation was developed in the course of Educational Research Methodology, particularly in the topic corresponding to the thesis as a type of scientific document, for which an audiovisual material was available that the candidates had to visualize independently, with the help of a guide of observation that was provided. The assessment of the impact on the teaching-learning process was carried out through a group interview in which all the applicants were able to openly express, before the group of aspirants and professors, their opinions and criteria in relation to the methodology used. A survey was also applied so that each student could evaluate their levels of satisfaction in this regard. Based on the responses to this survey, the medians of the different indicators explored through inferential statistics and the use of the Multidimensional Correlation Coefficient rpj were determined, as a logical procedure accepted by the Classical Test Theory to determine the degree of objectivity of the criteria issued. The results obtained show a tendency to high levels of satisfaction in the different aspects explored. Keywords: Flip teaching, Flipped Classroom, integration, audiovisual learning

Teachers need to be prepared to attend to all learners regardless of their abilities or needs. This implies that future teachers must develop, throughout their initial training, the necessary competencies to provide inclusive education to all students. The aim of this research was to analyze the level of development of competencies related to inclusion and attention to diversity among university students of a degree in primary education. Based on the project developed by the European Agency for Development in Special Needs Education (EADSNE) on the profile of the inclusive teacher, an ad hoc survey was prepared based on the four fundamental competencies proposed: valuing student diversity, supporting all students, working as part of a team, and developing one’s professional and personal qualities. This survey was administered to 440 students of the degree in primary education from the University of La Laguna (San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Spain). The results showed a positive development of the four competencies, with a higher development of the competencies of continuing professional development. It was also found that the students had the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for promoting inclusion and encouraging attention to diversity in their classrooms.
