New technologies such as 3D printing and reverse engineering are becoming increasingly popular, including in medical applications. The paper presents possible ways to use 3D printing in the area of increasing the level of medical training specialists in their daily clinical practice and in the selection of the appropriate scenario before a real surgical operation. Descriptions of the projects carried out with the surgeons aimed at achieving the aforementioned goals were presented. The presented concepts are relatively new solutions, but their further development may lead to the extension of the field of application of these techniques in medicine, among others in relation to other specialties.

Based on the notion of environment-friendly design, low-carbon production and sustainable economic development, this paper developed the dip aluminizing corrugated board furniture technology with the application of vacuum magnetron sputtering dip aluminizing. Hence it got the green material for corrugated board furniture and made it possible to produce the novel and amazing furniture to satisfy the great economic and social requirements. As the shortage of timber resources, all countries attach great importance to rational use of limited resources for furniture design and manufacturing. Corrugated board furniture have formed a new trend because it has the following features, replaced paper, green, raw materials economy, easy to process, product utility and so on. The dip aluminizing corrugated board furniture embodies green furniture ideas; has become a useful exploration of innovation and improvement, and actively promoting the development of furniture design and manufacture of green design.

At present, biomaterials are used in several sectors of medicine such as implant manufacturing, tissue engineering, orthopedic and prosthetic aids, drug delivery systems and many others. The use of biomaterials is increasingly related to the additive manufacturing (AM) of various medical devices and aids. Biomaterials and their use in medicine are important not only in terms of their biocompatibility and direct effect on the human organism, but also in terms of their biodegradability, processability and non-toxicity to the environment either during their production or during their processing after use. Bioplastics of the type Polylactic acid (PLA) appears to be a suitable biomaterials for use in a variety of medical applications in conjunction with an AM process. For this reason, this article discusses 1) description and use of biomaterials in medical applications 2) AM and biomaterials 3) key properties and uses of PLA bioplastics in medicine and 4) the specific AM of an orthopedic corset made of PLA and its benefits.

This paper describes a general data base management package, devoted to medical applications. SARI is a user-oriented system, able to take into account applications very different by their nature, structure, size, operating procedures and general objectives, without any specific programming. It can be used in conversational mode by users with no previous knowledge of computers, such as physicians or medical clerks. As medical data are often personal data, the privacy problem is emphasized and a satisfactory solution implemented in SARI.The basic principles of the data base and program organization are described ; specific efforts have been made in order to increase compactness and to make maintenance easy.Several medical applications are now operational with SARI. The next steps will mainly consist in the implementation of highly sophisticated functions.
