In this paper, we initiate the notion of generalized multivalued ( α K * , Υ , Λ ) -contractions and provide some new common fixed point results in the class of α K -complete partial b-metric spaces. The obtained results are an improvement of several comparable results in the existing literature. We set up an example to elucidate our main result. Moreover, we present applications dealing with the existence of a solution for systems either of functional equations or of nonlinear matrix equations.

We use the notions of left- and right-complete quasi- b -metric spaces and partial ordered sets to obtain a couple of common fixed-point results for strictly weakly isotone increasing mappings and relatively weakly increasing mappings, which satisfy a pair of almost generalized contractive conditions. To illustrate our results, throughout the paper, we give several relevant examples. Further, we use our results to establish sufficient conditions for existence and uniqueness of solution of a system of nonlinear matrix equations and a pair of fractional differential equations. Finally, we provide a nontrivial example to validate the sufficient conditions for nonlinear matrix equations with numerical approximations.

Using the concept of binary relation R , we initiate a notion of Θ R -contraction and obtain some fixed point results for such mappings in the setting of complete metric spaces. Furthermore, we establish some new results of fixed points of N-order. Consequently, we improve and generalize the corresponding known fixed point results. As an application of our main result, we provide the existence of a solution for a class of nonlinear matrix equations. A numerical example is also presented to illustrate the theoretical findings.

Some common fixed point theorems for \'{C}iri\'{c} type contraction mappings have been obtained in convex metric spaces. As applications, invariant approximation results for these type of mappings are obtained. The proved results generalize, unify and extend some of the results of the literature.

In this paper, we introduce the notion of cyclic ( α , β ) - ( ψ , φ ) s -rational-type contraction in b-metric spaces, and using this contraction, we prove common fixed point theorems. Our work generalizes many existing results in the literature. In order to highlight the usefulness of our results, applications to functional equations are given.

The aim of this paper is to establish new common fixed pointresults for multivalued integral type contraction mappings on a family of sets endowed with a graph. The obtained results generalize several recent ones. An example of application is included to illustrate the main existence theorem.

Abstract The aim of this paper is to introduce the concept of generalized multivalued $$\left( \varUpsilon ,\varLambda \right) $$Υ,Λ-contractions and generalized multivalued $$\left( \varUpsilon ,\varLambda \right) $$Υ,Λ -Suzuki contractions and introduce some new common fixed point results for such maps in complete b-metric spaces. Our results are an improvement of the Liu et al. fixed point theorem and several comparable results in the existing literature. We set up an example to elucidate our main result. Moreover, we also discuss an application to existence of solution for system of functional equations.

In this paper, we define almost Rg-Geraghty type contractions and utilize the same to establish some coincidence and common fixed point results in the setting of b2-metric spaces endowed with binary relations. As consequences of our newly proved results, we deduce some coincidence and common fixed point results for almost g-α-η Geraghty type contraction mappings in b2-metric spaces. In addition, we derive some coincidence and common fixed point results in partially ordered b2-metric spaces. Moreover, to show the utility of our main results, we provide an example and an application to non-linear integral equations.
