environmental monitoring of construction production should use modern scientific and technical method of physical, chemical and biological control for periodic or continuous monitoring and measurement of factors associated with chemical pollutants and physical and biological pollution on the spot, and for the correct assessment of environmental quality. For a construction project, all stages of construction production need environmental monitoring due to different monitoring purposes. During the entire construction period, environmental monitoring can accurately, timely, comprehensively reflect the impact of construction work on the site and the environment and provide a scientific basis for environmental management. Continuous monitoring provides real-time, up-to-date results to help environmental management professionals understand environmental quality in a site and be able to respond in a timely manner.

The monitoring items shall be determined in a scientific and reasonable way according to the environmental monitoring standards and specifications, The purpose of environmental monitoring is to reflect the monitoring data of environmental monitoring system in real time, accurately and comprehensively. It provides scientific basis for environmental planning and macro decision-making. It makes the environmental monitoring system feasible and economical. Guided by the technical route of environmental monitoring, combined with the practical principle and priority monitoring principle, the comprehensive planning and reasonable arrangement are made. Environmental protection, scientific research and other purposes. Aiming at the monitoring node and monitoring center of environmental monitoring system, this paper analyzes the important position of environmental management and monitoring plan. This paper discusses the composition and structure of the monitoring system, in order to maximize the role of environmental management, reduce and mitigate the impact of monitoring projects on the ecological environment, and realize the sustainable development and operation of environmental system monitoring.

Environmental monitoring (EM) is one of the components of the environmental management system on Russian Railways. It consists in obtaining analytical information about the composition and properties of pollution by industrial facilities, comparing it with established standards and transferring this information to a database for management decision-making.[1]

Through my own narrative about my relationship with my fictive father in Zanzibar and the impact of this relationship on my research, in this autoethnographic essay I explore three themes: fictiveness, fatherhood, and the field. These themes tie together different aspects of the term “patriography,” linking them to ethnography and its subgenre autoethnography. Drawing on the term “patriography” as the science or study of fathers, I use the concept of “the field” to examine the impact of narratives about fathers on not only the field as a site of ethnographic research but also on the field of African cultural studies.

Human activities and climate change constitute the contemporary catalyst for natural processes and their impacts, i.e., geo-environmental hazards. Globally, natural catastrophic phenomena and hazards, such as drought, soil erosion, quantitative and qualitative degradation of groundwater, frost, flooding, sea level rise, etc., are intensified by anthropogenic factors. Thus, they present rapid increase in intensity, frequency of occurrence, spatial density, and significant spread of the areas of occurrence. The impact of these phenomena is devastating to human life and to global economies, private holdings, infrastructure, etc., while in a wider context it has a very negative effect on the social, environmental, and economic status of the affected region. Geospatial technologies including Geographic Information Systems, Remote Sensing—Earth Observation as well as related spatial data analysis tools, models, databases, contribute nowadays significantly in predicting, preventing, researching, addressing, rehabilitating, and managing these phenomena and their effects. This review attempts to mark the most devastating geo-hazards from the view of environmental monitoring, covering the state of the art in the use of geospatial technologies in that respect. It also defines the main challenge of this new era which is nothing more than the fictitious exploitation of the information produced by the environmental monitoring so that the necessary policies are taken in the direction of a sustainable future. The review highlights the potential and increasing added value of geographic information as a means to support environmental monitoring in the face of climate change. The growth in geographic information seems to be rapidly accelerated due to the technological and scientific developments that will continue with exponential progress in the years to come. Nonetheless, as it is also highlighted in this review continuous monitoring of the environment is subject to an interdisciplinary approach and contains an amount of actions that cover both the development of natural phenomena and their catastrophic effects mostly due to climate change.

The present study aims to determine the impact of green innovation (GI) on the overall performance of an organization while keeping the variable of environmental management (EM) as a moderator. We used a dataset consisting of four data years, from 2014 to 2017, of A-share companies listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE). The concept of green innovation refers to the use of advancements in technology that enable savings in energy, along with the recycling of waste material. When advanced technology is utilized in the production process, the products are referred to as green products and the whole process of adopting such technologies and product design is referred to as “Corporate Environmental Management”. Such innovations improve the overall financial performance of companies as it enables them to improve their social image by reducing their carbon footprint and ensures their long-term sustainability. The main issue is the limited focus and attention given to the topic, from the perspective of companies. This research focuses on the impact of green innovation and the importance of environmental management for the sustainability of companies. Our findings suggest that the relationship between green innovation and the performance of the company is positive and verifies the existence of moderating effects of environmental management on the relationship between green innovation and firm performance. Implications are given to academia and practitioners.
