The number of HIV AIDS cases reached seven cases in Sempor subdistrict in 2014. That was a rather high number in each subdistrict in Kebumen district. In Sampang village, the number of adolescence around 1186 people (15,5%) in 2010. This existence showed that it was very high in Sampang village, in addition to create the risk of disease occurrence due to the deviation of less healthy behaviors that can lead to the occurrence of free sex. This study aimed to correlate the contribution of family function towards the prevention of HIV AIDS transmission among adolescents in Sampang village. This study used descriptive correlation study design with cross sectional approach to the variables consisted of independent variables, such as age, sex, the contribution of family affective function, family social function, family economic function, family reproductive function, and family health care function. Dependent variable consisted of the prevention of HIV AIDS transmission among adolescents in Sampang village, Sempor. The sample number was 150 adolescents aged 13 to 21 years. This study used univariat and bivariate analysis with chi square test. Results showed that sex was not correlated with the prevention of HIV AIDS transmission (p = 0.120); there was relationship between age and the prevention of HIV AIDS transmission (p = 0.000); there was correlation between the contribution of family affective function with the prevention of HIV AIDS transmission (p = 0.000); the contribution of family social function was correlated with the prevention of HIV AIDS transmission (p = 0.000); the contribution of family economic function was correlated with the prevention of HIV AIDS transmission (p = 0.000); the contribution of family reproductive function was correlated with the prevention of HIV AIDS transmission (p = 0.000); the contribution of family health care function was correlated with the prevention of HIV AIDS transmission (p = 0.000). Thus, the family functions must be optimized in role to educate teens to avoid the deviation of less healthy behaviors. How the role of community nurses can optimize the task of the family functions through coaching to the vulnerable families of behavior deviation among adolescents.   Keywords: family function, and the prevention of HIV-AIDS transmission of adolescents

RESUMO Objetivo: analisar as representações dos profissionais da Atenção Primária acerca do aconselhamento em HIV/AIDS e sífilis às gestantes. Método: estudo qualitativo, fundamentado na Teoria das Representações Sociais, com dez enfermeiros e três médicos atuantes na Estratégia de Saúde da Família. A coleta de dados ocorreu por meio de entrevista aberta com roteiro semiestruturado e a análise seguiu o Método de Análise Estrutural da Narração. Resultados: emergiram as categorias empíricas “Representações sobre o aconselhamento em HIV/AIDS e sífilis” e “Representações sobre a prevenção do HIV/AIDS e sífilis”. Conclusão: os profissionais reconhecem a importância da prevenção do HIV/AIDS e sífilis. No entanto, encontram dificuldades para realizá-la por meio do aconselhamento. É fundamental que sejam capacitados e que investimentos sejam feitos pelas instituições, nesse sentido, visando a melhorias no funcionamento dos serviços. Conclusion: professionals recognize the importance of HIV / AIDS and syphilis prevention. However, they find it difficult to do so through counseling. It is essential that they be trained and that investments are made by the institutions, in this sense, aiming at improvements in the functioning of the services. Es fundamental que sean capacitados y que las inversiones sean realizadas por las instituciones, en ese sentido, buscando mejoras en el funcionamiento de los servicios. Objective: To report health education experience experienced by nursing students with a group of seniors. Methodology: This is an experience report conducted in July 2015 in a unit of the Family Health Strategy of a town in the country of Maranhão, being conducted health education activities, focusing on sexuality and prevention of STI / HIV / AIDS, using lecture and debate. Results: It is observed that there are taboo on sexuality in old age causing embarrassment. And they consider themselves invulnerable STDs due to lack of knowledge as well as not using condoms. Conclusion: It is necessary to create more effective policies, and above all an awareness of health professionals about the need to plan, guide and implement actions on this topic in order to empower these seniors.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was assessing educational activities carried out by nurses, doctors and community health staff of the Family Health Units at Recife, Pernambuco (PE) - Brazil, based on the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, the human immunodeficiency virus and the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome - STD/HIV/AIDS. This is about a descriptive exploratory study, quantitative nature, in which a questionnaire was gather data with five nurses, four doctors and 20 staff community health. Of the ten top-level professionals, seven had specialization; five nurses, four doctors and 20 ACS reported having participated in training and/or training in STD/HIV/AIDS; most doctors and nurses did not notify the cases of HIV/AIDS; all professionals have developed educational activities, among these the most frequent was the conference. The survey showed the need to implement a program of continuing education on STD/HIV/AIDS, as well as raise awareness among doctors and nurses about the importance of both the identification of cases of HIV/AIDS in the community about the notification. Descriptors: family health; evaluation; std; hiv; aids.RESUMOO objetivo principal desse estudo foi avaliar ações educativas realizadas por enfermeiros, médicos e agentes comunitários de saúde das Unidades de Saúde da Família em Recife, Pernambuco (PE) - Brasil, com enfoque na prevenção de doenças sexualmente transmissíveis, do vírus da imunodeficiência humana e da síndrome da imunodeficiência adquirida - DST/HIV/AIDS. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo exploratório, de natureza quantitativa, no qual um questionário foi utilizado para a coleta de dados com cinco enfermeiras, quatro médicas e 20 agentes comunitários de saúde. Das dez profissionais de nível superior, sete tinham especialização; cinco enfermeiras, quatro médicas e 20 ACS referiram ter participado de capacitação e/ou treinamento em DST/HIV/AIDS; a maioria das médicas e enfermeiras não notifica os casos de HIV/AIDS; todos os profissionais desenvolveram atividades educativas, entre estas a mais freqüente foi a palestra. A pesquisa mostrou a necessidade de implantar um programa de educação continuada em DST/HIV/AIDS, bem como sensibilizar as médicas e enfermeiras para a importância tanto da identificação de casos de HIV/AIDS na comunidade quanto da notificação. Se trata de un estudio descriptivo exploratório, de naturaleza cuantitativa. Fue utilizado un cuestionario para reunir datos con cinco enfermeras, cuatro médicos y 20 agentes comunitarios de salud. De los diez profesionales , siete tenían especialización; cinco enfermeras, cuatro médicos y 20 agentes comunitários informaron que habían participado en la formación y/o capacitación en ETS/VIH/SIDA; la mayoría de los médicos y las enfermeras no notificar los casos de VIH/SIDA; todos los profesionales desarrollaron actividades educativas, la más frecuente fue la conferencia. La encuesta reveló la necesidad de aplicar un programa de educación continua sobre las EST/VIH/SIDA, así como sensibilizar a los médicos y enfermeras acerca de la importancia de la identificación de los casos de VIH/SIDA en la comunidad, como de su notificación.
