Рассмотрено применение виртуальных ассистентов при реализации услуг дополненной реальности (ДР). Разработано приложение ДР с виртуальным ассистентом и проведена оценка качества восприятия с помощью субъективных и объективных методов. The article discusses the use of virtual assistants in the implementation of augmented reality services. An augmented reality application with a virtual assistant was developed and the quality of the experience was assessed using subjective and objective methods.

In recent years, teachers have started to integrate augmented reality (AR) technology as a potential learning tool into classroom activities. The main concern is the quality of the existing applications rather than brand-newness. Therefore, this chapter focuses on the components of a good educational AR application based on the experiences of teachers and to examine the current situation on the integration of AR to learning environments. Qualitative methodology was used in this study. The sample consisted of 24 teachers working in public schools in Turkey. The data were collected via semi-structured interviews and analyzed through the thematic analysis. The results showed that the components of a good AR application in education were gathered under four main themes: “analysis process,” “design process,” “teaching-learning process,” and “evaluation components.” Implications for the design and use of the AR applications in educational settings were also included in the study.

Augmented Reality Technologies as such have been known since the first decade of the 21st century. However, due to the relatively high costs of terminal equipment, the lack of mass demand in industries, their unpreparedness to implement augmented reality in production processes, the limited use of augmented reality in the educational process, etc., this technology did not become networked. In the broadest sense of this word, the traffic generated by augmented reality significantly affects both the principles of network construction and its planning. The article is devoted to studying the interaction of augmented reality applications and control methods for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. The study was carried out experimentally using the developed experimental stand. During the experiment, an augmented reality application was used to control the UAV. The assessments of the quality of service of the network and subjective evaluations of the quality of perception were obtained. The Hurst parameter was used to determine the relationship between the quality of communication network service and the quality of perception. The parameters of the communication network maintenance are determined to ensure the specified rate of perception when controlling the UAV using the augmented reality application.

Currently, research is actively being conducted in the field of creating fifth-generation communication networks and 2030 communication networks, in which augmented reality applications play a leading role. Research subject. The article discusses the classification of augmented reality applications depending on the purpose and implementation of the service. Methodology and core results. The article provides a classification and structural comparative analysis of the methods of providing information, object recognition, user interaction. Practical relevance. It consists in the possibility of using the proposed classification in the tasks of the integrated implementation of augmented reality applications on communication networks and the development of a methodology for assessing the quality of experience of augmented reality services.

Augmented reality (AR) applications become increasingly popular, however, little is known about how multimedia consumption interplays with the Quality of Experience (QoE) in these settings. We experimentally evaluate binocular vision augmentation with optical see-through devices by contrasting QoE, expressed by Mean Opinion Scores (MOS), with a ground truth reference data set. We find that the QoE in AR settings (i) is higher for small media impairments and lower for high impairment levels compared to opaque settings, (ii) exhibits an emerging quantifiable relationship with the QoE in traditional setups, (iii) can be approached with common objective image quality metrics as Quality of Service (QoS) factors, and (iv) exhibits a relationship between the Low Gamma frequency band levels determined with consumer-grade electroencephalograms (EEG) and image quality levels as rated by the participants.
