ABSTRACTThe aim of the research was to compare the inventory control system in D’Baloy Food Industries MSMEs and the optimal control of onion dayak stock to production dayak onion tea by the method of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Descriptive analysis to describe the control system of dayak onion stock in D'baloy Food Industries MSMEs. EOQ methods to analyze optimum order quantities and calculate the optimum frequency of purchases. Safety stock analysis and Reorder point analysis are also carried out. The results showed  the management of raw material inventories in UKM D’baloy Food Industries was not optimal. The current cost of raw material inventory is Rp.752.000 in a year, inventory costs using the EOQ method is Rp.463.448. If applying the optimum inventory, then the cost of dayak onion material stock that can be saved by D’baloy Food Industries MSMEs is Rp.288.552. The cost savings are achieved if the quantity of each message is increased from 10 kg to 29 kg. The frequency of purchases decreased from 96 times a year to 33 times. To avoid the problem of uncertainty in demand and price of raw materials, the safety stock that D'Baloy must provide is 30 kg. The raw material is re-ordered when the stock of dayak onions 38.01 kg. The maximum inventory that must be available before reorder 59 kg. Inventory management using the EOQ method places more emphasis on the availability of safety stock with the reason to overcome the problem of uncertainty in demand and fluctuations in raw material prices.Keywords :  Dayak Onion, Economic Order Quantity, InventoryABSTRAKUKM D’Baloy Food Industries belum menerapkan manajemen persediaan bahan baku bawang dayak secara optimal karena bahan baku yang tersedia di perusahaan masih kurang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan manajemen persediaan di UKM D’Baloy Food Industries bawang dayak untuk produksi teh bawang dayak dengan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Analisis deskriptif untuk menggambarkan manajemen persediaan dayak di UKM D’Baloy Food Industries. Metode EOQ digunakan untuk menganalisis jumlah pesanan optimal dan menghitung frekuensi pembelian optimal. Perhitungan safety stock dan Reorder point juga dilakukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persediaan bahan baku bawang dayak di UKM D’Baloy Food Industries belum optimal. Biaya persediaan bahan baku saat ini adalah Rp.752.000 dalam setahun, sedangkan biaya persediaan menggunakan metode EOQ adalah Rp.463.448. Jika menggunakan persediaan optimal, maka biaya persediaan bahan bawang dayak yang dapat dihemat oleh D’Baloy Food Industries adalah Rp.288.552. Penghematan biaya dapat jika jumlah setiap pesan ditingkatkan dari 10 kg menjadi 29 kg. Frekuensi pembelian diturunkan dari 96 kali setahun menjadi 33 kali. Untuk menghindari masalah ketidakpastian dalam permintaan dan harga bahan baku, stok pengaman (safety stock) yang harus disediakan D'Baloy adalah 30 kg. Bahan baku dipesan ulang saat stok bawang dayak 38,01 kg. Persediaan maksimum yang harus tersedia sebelum memesan ulang 59 kg. Manajemen persediaan menggunakan metode EOQ lebih menekankan pada ketersediaan stok pengaman dengan alasan untuk mengatasi masalah ketidakpastian dalam permintaan dan fluktuasi harga bahan baku.Kata kunci: bawang dayak, metode Economic Order Quantity, persediaan

            The cost of raw material inventory is a sacrifice of economic resources, measured in units of money, which have occurred or are likely to occur for raw material inventory, consisting of purchase costs, storage costs, and inventory shortage. This study aims to determine (1) Total Inventory Cost (TIC) based on RM policy. Kinamang Fuel Fish and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method during 2017 (2) Frequency of ordering of efficient fish raw material during 2017 (3) Quantity of safety stock and when to reorder point of raw materials fish in RM. Ikan Bakar Kinamang during 2017. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative approach. And use case study method. The result of the research shows that the Cost of Fish Raw Material Supplies at Kinamang Fuel Fish Restaurant is still not economical because the purchase (order) is only based on the previous sales estimate, and does not take into account economically the expenses incurred for the purchase and storage of fish raw materials the. Precisely with the calculation of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), the cost of raw materials inventory of fish is much less, and can determine properly and correctly about the safety stock (safety stock), and reorder (reorder point).Keywords: Inventory Cost, EOQ, Frequency, Safety Stock, ROP

The purpose of the implementation of this research is to find the effectiveness of supplies raw materials, the method of analysis data used in the square is the smallest trend for planning raw materials and controling supplies use method of economic order quantity (EOQ) analyze reorder point. Analysis reorder point and safety stock. And analyzes efficiency cost of raw materials. Forecasting raw materials years 20x7 according to the smallest trend, cloth and dakron happened the difference is greater than of the target needed (according to a company); controling supplies raw materials with the methods eoq in 20x7 more effective than reservations raw materials cloth and dakron and more efficient than cost raw materials. The company should review the policy of forecasting raw material supplies that had been undertaken and make planning supplies the raw material that more accurate using the firm’s historical data and not only targeting the output production next year, so that machines production can be optimized. Considering the use of control supplies with the methods economic order quantity to companies, so this analysis can determine material reservations, supplies safety, maximum supplies to avoid the risk of running out of raw materials, because the companies often happened less dressed up a result of reservations that time is inaccurate, the lack of safety stock and the deferred the delivery of goods which often disturb the production process, by this method can prevent these things, so that the production process can run smoothly and minimize the cost of raw materials supplies.

This study aims to analyze the availability of raw materials at PT. Akasha Wira Internasional Tbk, analyzes the total cost of raw material inventories, analyzes to reorder point raw materials, analyzes the amount of safety stock of raw materials, analyzes raw material inventory control. The analytical method used is the Economic Order Quantity method, which is to find out the optimal order or purchase quantity with the aim of minimizing inventory costs consisting of ordering costs and storage costs. The results showed that the purchase of optimal ades 1500 ML label raw materials according to the Economic Order Quantity method during the 2017 period for each message was greater than what the company did. The optimal purchase of raw materials that must be done by the company in 2017 is 397 m with the frequency of ordering that must be done as much as 2 times. The safety stock quantity that must be available in the warehouse is 480.15 m and the Re Order Point according to the Economic Order Quantity is at the time of the inventory in the warehouse is 512.91 m. Kuantitas persediaan pengaman yang harus tersedia digudang adalah sebesar 480,15 m dan titik pemesanan kembali menurut Economic Order Quantity yaitu saat persediaan digudang tinggal 512,91 m. Inventories have an important role in business operations. In fact, problems in controlling inventory is the most important thing we've come across in any company. Inventories have enormous influence for a smooth production process. PT Ima Montaz Sejahtera (PT IMS) is one of the companies engaged in the manufacture beverage Bottled Drinking Water. PT IMS is distributes its products throughout NAD. The main raw material used was water purchased from PT. PIM. The company ordered a bottle of the product medium, glass cup on products, lids, labels and cartons were booked from Medan which become relationship with them. But in reality, the bottle material is not always available because raw material ordering is not efficient, thus inhibiting the production process and increase the use of cost. In the years 2015-2016 from September to August happens 18 times a monthly ordered are ordering frequency from 1 to 2 orders with the amount of raw materials that different every month. Based on preliminary research shows that ordered data in September, October, November, December, January and February each performed two times ordered, while March, April, May, June, July and August each time is 1 ordered. Additionally in 2015 there were eight times the idle time in the production department Bottleline due to the absence of Safety Stock thus automatically no production activities in the production department Bottleline to incur losses for the company. Based on this it needs to be analyzed at the company's inventory control. The results showed that the frequency of the purchasing of raw materials by using the EOQ method which is 3 times the total cost of supply of raw materials companies amounted to Rp12,041,404. Where the company must hold safety stock to expedite the process of production by the number of 407.685 bottles, with reorder point of 362.961 bottles.Keywords: Inventory, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Reorder Point, Safety stock

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemesanan bahan baku madu optimal, menganalisis pengaruh biaya pemesanan, biaya penyimpanan, jumlah pemakaian dan waktu tunggu terhadap persediaan bahan baku madu, menganalisis trend kebutuhan bahan baku madu bulan Juli sampai dengan Desember 2018, menganalisis persediaan pengaman (safety stock) bahan baku madu, menganalisis titik pemesanan ulang (reorder point) bahan baku madu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan metode pelaksanaan penelitian yaitu studi kasus. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis model EOQ (Economic Order Quantity), analisis regresi linier berganda, analisis trend, analisis safety stock dan analisis reorder point. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemesanan bahan baku madu yang optimal sebesar 6.524 kg/pesanan dengan frekuensi 17 kali pemesanan. Faktor biaya penyimpanan dan jumlah pemakaian mempengaruhi persediaan bahan baku sedangkan faktor biaya pemesanan dan waktu tunggu tidak mempengaruhi persediaan bahan baku di PT. Aksamala Adi Andana. Trend kebutuhan bahan baku madu di PT. Aksamala Adi Andana pada Bulan Juli sampai dengan Desember 2018 cenderung meningkat. Persediaan pengaman (safety stock) bahan baku madu yang harus tersedia di PT. Aksamala Adi Andana yaitu sebesar 766 kg. Reorder point bahan baku madu di PT. Aksamala Adi Andana sebesar 2.915 kg.

Persediaan merupakan aset perusahaan yang memiliki peran penting dalam operasi bisnis, sehingga perusahaan penting untuk melakukan manajemen persediaan yang baik, artinya perusahaan harus mampu mengantisipasi kendala maupun tantangan yang ada dalam pengelolahan persediaan untuk meminimalisasi total biaya yang harus dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan. Permasalahan yang timbul pada persediaan bahan baku di PT XYZ adalah perusahaan melakukan perencanaan dan pengendalian bahan baku hanya berdasarkan pada pengalaman-pengalaman sebelumnya dan tidak berdasarkan pada metode yang sudah baku. Oleh karena itu pembelian bahan baku tidak sesuai dengan permintaan konsumen. Hal tersebut sering menyebabkan terjadinya kelebihan maupun kekurangan stok bahan baku. Kesalahan dalam penentuan besarnya investasi dalam persediaan akan mengurangi keuntungan perusahaan. Adanya persediaan bahan baku yang terlalu besar, akan menambah beban biaya pemeliharaan dan penyimpanan dalam gudang, serta kemungkinan terjadinya penurunan kualitas bahan baku yang dapat menyebabkan berkurangnya keuntungan perusahaan. Namun jika persediaan bahan baku terlalu sedikit maka akan berakibat pada terhambatnya proses produksi, sehingga tidak terpenuhinya permintaan konsumen. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menyimpulkan bahwa perencanaan kebutuhan bahan baku dengan metode perusahaan didapatkan total cost sebesar Rp 1.796.762.429,-, sedangkan metode Material Requirements Planning (MRP) didapatkan total cost sebesar Rp 1.576.011.801,-. Maka dapat disimpulkan telah terjadi penurunan total cost seluruh bahan baku sebesar 12,28%. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa metode Material Requirements Planning (MRP) lebih efisien daripada metode PT. XYZ. Oleh karena itu untuk mendapatkan total cost yang minimum, metode Material Requirements Planning (MRP) diterapkan pada periode Februari-Juni 2020 sehingga didapatkan total cost sebesar Rp 1.576.011.801,-. Therefore, the purchase of raw materials is not in accordance with consumer demand. This often leads to excess or shortage of raw material stock. Mistakes in determining the amount of investment in inventories will reduce company profits. The availability of raw materials that are too large, will add to the burden of maintenance and storage costs in the warehouse, as well as the possibility of a decline in the quality of raw materials that can lead to reduced company profits. However, if the supply of raw materials is too little, it will result in obstruction of the production process, so that consumer demand is not fulfilled. The results of this study can conclude that the planning of raw material needs by the company method obtained a total cost of Rp 1,796,762,429, - while the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) method obtained a total cost of Rp 1,576,011,801, -. Then it can be concluded that there has been a decrease in the total cost of all raw materials by 12.28%. This proves that the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) method is more efficient than the PT. XYZ. Tujuan yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah ingin menganalisis persediaan bahan baku optimal yang dibutuhkan dengan menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), menganalisis berapa besar persediaan pengaman (Safety stock), menganalisis kapan waktu yang tepat untuk melakukan pemesanan kembali (reorder point), menganalisis total persediaan bahan baku atau Total Inventory Cost (TIC). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dan hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa persediaan bahan baku setiap tahunnya tidak stabil. Bahan baku yang dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan apabila dihitung menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) pada tahun 2016 adalah sebesar 11,52 m3 dengan frekuensi pembelian 6 kali per periode (1 tahun). Tahun 2017 sebesar 9,90 m3 dengan frekuensi pembelian 6 kali per periode (1 tahun). Persediaan pengaman (safety stock) pada tahun 2016 adalah sebesar 16,48 m3. Pada tahun 2017 sebesar 11,25 m3. Titik pemesanan kembali (reorder point) pada tahun 2016 adalah sebesar 17,18 m3. Pada tahun 2017 sebesar 13,1 m3. Total biaya persediaan bahan baku yang dihitung menurut Economic Order Point (EOQ) lebih sedikit dibandingkan dengan yang dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan, maka ada penghematan biaya persediaan. Pada tahun 2016 sebesar Rp.110.499.402 dan pada tahun 2017 sebesar Rp.81.655.306. Kata Kunci: Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Persediaan Pengaman (Safety Stock), Titik Pemesanan Kembali (Reorder Point), Total Biaya Persediaan atau Total Inventory Cost (TIC).

A company should maintain an adequate or optimal level of inventory so that production operations can run smoothly and efficiently. What needs to be considered in this case is that the required raw materials are always available, so as to guarantee the smooth production process. However, the amount of inventory should not be too much because this will harm the company. Too much inventory will increase maintenance costs and storage costs in the warehouse. In addition, the amount of inventory that is too much can also increase the likelihood of losses due to damage and loss of quality that can reduce company profits. And vice versa, the amount of inventory that is too small will hamper the production process so that the company will suffer a lot of losses including: the machine does not work as it should, many workers are unemployed, and can even result in the cessation of the production process. This study aims to determine how the calculation of raw materials, what is the total cost of raw material inventory if the company establishes an EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) policy, what is the limit or point of ordering raw materials needed by the company during the grace period at PT.Bentoel International Investama in Malang.The population used is the supply of tobacco raw materials at PT. Bentoel International Investama, where this research was conducted by interview and documentation. The variable in this study is the supply of raw materials. The analysis used is the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method.The results of the study, if using the EOQ method in 2017 the cost savings of Rp 40,290,256,931, while in 2018 the cost savings of Rp. 44,388,428,549. Thus there is a difference between inventory policies carried out according to the company with EOQ calculations. It can be concluded that the supply of raw materials every year has increased raw materials, the frequency of purchasing raw materials when using raw materials when using the EOQ method is 2 times in one period, the limit for ordering raw materials needed by companies when using the 2017 EOQ method is 218,176.7 kg, while in 2018 it will be 210,853 kg. The total cost of raw material inventory calculated according to EOQ is less than that spent by the company, so there is a cost savings of raw material inventory

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui jumlah safety stock yang sudah ditetapkan oleh manajemen perusahaan apakah sudah optimal (2) mengetahui jumlah pembelian bahan baku yang optimal, dan mengetahui total biaya persediaan yang optimal, dan (3) mengetahui waktu pemesanan kembali (reorder point). Data yang dipelajari berupa data  tentang (1) kebutuhan bahan baku tahun 2015 (2) biaya pemesanan setiap kali pesan tahun 2015 (3) harga faktur bahan yang dibeli tahun 2015 (4) biaya penyimpanan variabel tahun 2015. Metode penelitiaan yang digunakan adalah (1) Metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) (2) Metode Safety Stock (SS)  (3) Metode Reorder Point (ROP). Dengan diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut : (1) Besarnya safety stock ditentukan oleh perusahaan sebesar 30% dari kebutuhan bulan berikutnya (2) Kuantitas pembelian optimal bahan baku alcohol sebesar 15,6 ton, dengan frekuensi pembelian sebanyak 12 kali, bahan baku Texapon N-70 sebesar 10 ton, dengan frekuensi pembelian sebanyak 8 kali, bahan baku Whimol 15 sebesar 9 ton, dengan frekuensi pembelian sebanyak 7 kali, bahan baku Euperlan PK771 sebesar 7 ton, dengan frekuensi pembelian sebanyak 5 kali, dan bahan baku Edenor C12-99 MY sebesar 7 ton, dengan frekuensi pembelian sebanyak 5 kali, dan besarnya total biaya persediaan untuk 5 (lima) jenis bahan baku utama sebesar 3.708.967.727. (3) Titik pemesanan kembali untuk bahan baku alcohol dilakukan apabila mencapai 14 ton, bahan baku Texapon mencapai 5.8 ton, bahan baku Whimol 15 mencapai 4.6 ton, bahan baku Euperlan PK771 mencapai 2.3 ton , dan bahan baku Edenor C12-99 MY mencapai 3.35 ton. Berdasarkan kesimpulan diatas, maka penulis memberikan saran kepada perusahaan PT. Martina Berto Tbk. Agar mempertimbangkan penggunaan metode EOQ dan kapan perusahaan harus melakukan pemesanan kembali, agar pengendalian persediaan yang efektif dan efisien dapat tercapai.

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the quantity and frequency of ordering fresh fish, total inventory cost, safety stock and reorder points based on the method Economic Order Quantity  the exactand knowing the ratio of total costs of fresh fish inventory if the traders at the Depo Ikan Segar use their own policies using the method Economic Order Quantity. The basic method used in this research is descriptive method. The location was determined by purposive sampling and selected the Depo Ikan Segar in Surakarta City because it was the whole sale center for fresh fish in Surakarta City. Determination of the sample using random sampling technique by proporsive sampling. Data analysis methods used are: (1) optimal quantity and ordering frequency (2) total inventory costs (3) calculation of safety stock and reorder points. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah : (1) kuantitas dan frekuensi pemesanan optimal (2) total biaya persediaan (3) perhitungan safety stock dan reorder point.
