Objective - The objective of this research is to examine the effect of leverage, board of commissioner, foreign ownership, company age and company size towards the disclosure of CSR implementation. Leverage was measured by debt to asset ratio (DAR), board of commissioner was measured by the number of commissioners, company age was measured by the difference of research year and listing year, and company size was measured by the in total asset. Methodology/Technique - This research usesthe published reports and financial statements of 55 companies listed in the manufacturing sector of the Indonesia Stock Exchange from the period of 2013-2014. Selection was based on purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the multiple regression approach. Findings - The results showed that leverage that was measured by the DAR, board of commissioners, foreign ownership, company age, and company size, all simultaneously, have a significant effect towards the disclosure of CSR implementation. The board of commissioner has a positive significant effect towards the disclosures of CSR implementation while leverage that was measured by DAR, foreign ownership, company age, and company size have no effect towards the disclosures of CSR implementation. Novelty - This research proves that bigger companiestend to implement CSR more broadly so the disclosure of CSR implementation can be on a wider scope too. <p><em>The objective of this study is to analyze the influence of leverage, profitability,, industry type and foreign ownership to Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure. The method of this  research is a hypothesis testing which explaining the phenomenon of the relationship between variables. Data used in this study come from annual reports and financial reports of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in period 2016-2018. Analysis of the hypothesis used in this study using linear regression.</em> <em>The difference between this research and previous research is adding foreign ownership variable because foreign ownership are parties that are considered to be concerned about the wide disclosure of corporate social responsibility.</em> <em>This study shown that the results of leverage, industry type and foreign ownership have positive influences to Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure, while profitability does not has a significant effect to Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure</em></p>

This study aims to analyzie and obtain empirical evidence about the effect company size, leverage, board of commisioners and profitability on the corporate social responsibility disclosure to coal mining companies in Indonesia. The independent variables of this study are company size, leverage, board of commisioners, and profitability while the dependent variable of this study is the disclosure of corporate social responsibility. The study conducts multiple regression analysis by using mining companies which listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) over period between 2016 to 2018 with a total of 44 companies. This study collects the data by purposive sampling method that makes the total sample is 17 companies with 51 data of financial statements companies as research observations. This study finds that: (1) company size not significant effect to corporate social responsibility disclosure;(2) leverage not significant effect to corporate social responsibility disclosure;(3) board of commisioners not significant effect to corporate social responsibility disclosure; and (4) profitability significantly effect to corporate social responsibility disclosure.

This study aims to see the effect of media exposure, environmental performance, and foreign ownership to corporate social responsibility disclosure. The population in this study are all mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) that is as many as 41 companies. The sample in this research use sampling technique purposive sampling counted 36 company. The analysis was done by using multiple regression model.  The results of this study indicate that: (1) Media Exposure effect the disclosure of corporate social responsibility. (2) environmental peformance has no effect on corporate social responsibility disclosure. (3) foreign ownership has no effect on corporate social responsibility disclosure

 ABSTRACT  This study is aimed to prove the influence of corporate characteristic on corporate social responsibility disclosure by using independent variables size, age, goverment ownership, foreign ownership, leverage, profitability, industry type, and auditor type. The sample in this study is a non-financial companies listed at the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017 and consisted of 250 companies. The data used in secondary data obtained from financial from the website www.idx.co.id. Methods of data collection used purposive sampling techniques. This study used a quantitative approach.Data was analyzed using multiple linear regression using SPPSS software version 23.  The results showed that Size and Goverment Ownership of the company had effect possitive on corporate social responsibility. Age, Foreign Ownership, Leverage, Profitability, Industry Type, and Auditor Type have no effect on corporate social responsibility. Keywords : Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure and Corporate Characteristic

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of company size on corporate social responsibility disclosure and to determine the effect of audit committee size on corporate social responsibility disclosure, and to determine the effect of company size and audit committee size together on corporate social responsibility disclosure in mining companies in the period 2014-2018. Data collection using secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study are mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sampling with puposive sampling method, there are 155 samples. The method of analysis uses multiple linear regression. The results of the study concluded that the size of the company and the size of the audit committee simultaneously had a significant effect on corporate social responsibility disclosure, company size had no significant effect on corporate social responsibility disclosure, and the size of the audit committee had a significant effect on corporate social responsibility disclosure.

Objective - The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of environmental performance, foreign ownership and leverage to disclosure of corporate social responsibility (CSR). Methodology/Technique - CSR of disclosure in this study using performance indicators based GRI (Global Reporting Initiatives). Data collection using purposive sampling method for manufacturing companies in Indonesia stock exchange in 2011 through 2013, there were 85 companies in the sample. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression method. Findings - The result shows that the environmental performance and leverage effect on disclosure of corporate social responsibility, while foreign ownership doesn't affect on disclosure of corporate social responsibility. Corporate Social Responsibility is a strategy that is applied by a company as evidence of the company's social responsibility to the environment and social companies so that the company can grow sustainably. This study aims to determine the effect of company size, profitability, leverage and public share ownership on CSR disclosures of food and beverage companies. Measurement of index of social responsibility disclosure with Global Reporting Initiative Generation 4.This research was conducted on food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2014-2016 period. Samples were selected using purposive sampling and obtained 33 data that met the sample criteria. The research data was analyzed using multiple linear regression methods. The results showed that firm size and profitability had a positive effect on Corporate Social Responsibility disclosure, while Leverage and public share ownership had no effect on the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility. PurposeThis study aims to analyze the effect of ownership structure that consists of managerial ownership and institutional ownership of the extensive of corporate social responsibility (CSR) disclosure.Design/methodology/approachThe population in this study is manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), as the manufacturing companies are considered to have great potential on environmental damage (Mathews, 2000). The selected sample were the companies which meet certain criteria (purposive sampling) which published the complete annual financial statements from 2011 to 2015. This study used an analysis method using partial least square (WarpPLS) to assess the effect of the structure of ownership consists of managerial ownership and institutional ownership on the extent of the CSR disclosure.FindingsThe results showed that there is a direct effect of a negative and significant correlation between managerial ownership on CSR disclosure, and there is a direct effect of a positive and significant correlation between institutional ownership on CSR disclosure.Originality/valueOriginality of this paper shows PLS (WarpPLS) that applied to determine the effect between variables managerial and institutional ownership on CSR disclosure. This research is collected data financial statements and annual reports of manufacturing companies obtained from the Indonesia Capital Market Reference Center (PRPM), which is located in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), which there has not been research by the methods and the same location.

The variables examined in this study are company size, profitability, political connections and disclosure of corporate social responsibility (CSR). The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical results regarding the effect of company size, profitability, political connections and disclosure of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on tax avoidance. This research was conducted on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The number of samples taken as many as 38 manufacturing companies with nonprobability sampling method, especially purposive sampling. The research period is 2014-2017. Data collection is done by non-participant observation techniques. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that company size, political connections and disclosure of corporate social responsibility have no effect on tax avoidance while profitability has a negative effect on tax avoidance. The amount of profit obtained by the company is very influential on the company's actions to practice tax avoidance. This study aims to analyze and provide empirical evidence on the effect of firm age, foreign ownership, board of commissioners, audit committee, and industry type on corporate social responsibility disclosure. The population in this study is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2017-2019, totalling 180 companies. The sampling technique used is the purposive sampling method with a total sample of 96 companies that met the criteria for the research samples. This study applies a quantitative approach with secondary data types. Data collection uses documentation techniques. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis employed SPSS version 21 program. The results show that the company’s age, the board of commissioners and the type of industry have a positive effect on the disclosure of corporate social responsibility, while foreign ownership and the audit committee do not affect the corporate social responsibility disclosure.
