Since physician–patient relationships are a central part of the medical practice, it is essential to understand whether physicians and the general public share the same perspective on traits defining a “good doctor”. Our study compared the perceptions of physicians and members of the public on the essential traits of a “good doctor.” We conducted parallel surveys of 1000 practicing specialist-physicians, and 500 members of the public in Israel. Respondents were asked about the two most important attributes of a “good doctor” and whether they thought the physicians’ role was to reduce health disparities. Many physicians (56%) and members of the public (48%) reported that the role of physicians includes helping to reduce health disparities. Physicians emphasized the importance of non-technical skills such as humaneness and concern for patients as important traits of a “good doctor,” while the public emphasized professional and technical skills. Internal medicine physicians were more likely than surgeons to emphasize humaneness, empathy, and professionalism. Future research should focus on actionable approaches to bridge the gap in the perceptions between the groups, and that may support the formation of caring physicians embedded in a complex array of relationships within clinical and community contexts.

A multi-purpose image-based QR code is designed in this paper. There are four purposes for the generated image-based QR code. In the first purpose, the basic image-based QR code with the look of a host image is with an ingenious layout to be identified easier. In the second one, a saliency region detection method is adopted for enhancing the quality of the image-based QR code. In the third one, the host image is embedded into the image-based QR code for further access to the host image; Finally, the visual cryptography-based watermarking method is applied to the host image embedded image-based QR code. In the case that the specific users need verification from the image-based QR code, the binary verified image can be retrieved when the public share is available. The experimental results demonstrate that the generated image-based QR code not only looked better than some previous works but also had high quality host image embedded and identification ability.

This research aims to determine the Effect of Liquidity, Profitability, Company Size, and Public Share Ownership on Disclosure of Annual Reports on Property and Real Estate Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used is sourced from the annual financial statements on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2019. And there has been a selection based on the criteria that have been determined. The population used in the study was 50 companies and the sample used amounted to 21 companies. The technique in selecting a sample is to use the Purposive Sampling technique. The study used multiple linear regression analysis methods. From this study showed that Liquidity and Profitability had no significant effect on the Annual Report Disclosure Index on Property and Real Estate Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange because the partial test results on liquidity variables negatively 0.01 percent and significant value positive effects 0.9 percent and partial test results on profitability variables negatively 1.4 and significant value positive influence 0.1 percent which proving not always the level of liquidity and profitability of the company will have a positive effect on the disclosure report. While the Size of the Company and Public Share Ownership have a significant influence on the Annual Report Disclosure Index on Property and Real Estate Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange because the partial test results on the company's size variables positively affect 2.1 percent and significant value negatively affect 0.03 percent and partial test results on public share ownership variables positively affect 3.6 percent. But all variables have an simultaneous effect on the Annual Report Disclosure Index on Property and Real Estate Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

We examine potential bias in Facebook’s 10-trillion cell URLs dataset, consisting of URLs shared on its platform and their engagement metrics. Despite the unprecedented size of the dataset, it was altered to protect user privacy in two ways: 1) by adding differentially private noise to engagement counts, and 2) by censoring the data with a 100-public-share threshold for a URL’s inclusion. To understand how these alterations affect conclusions drawn from the data, we estimate the preva-lence of fake news in the massive, censored URLs dataset and compare it to an estimate from a smaller, representative dataset. We show that censoring can substantially alter conclusions that are drawn from the Facebook dataset. Because of this 100-public-share threshold, descriptive statis-tics from the Facebook URLs dataset overestimate the share of fake news and news overall by as much as 4X. We conclude with more general implications for censoring data.

By using purposive sampling method, there are 42 companies that meet the criteria. Methods of data collection is done through documentation study and literature study. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the research gives the conclusion that partially profitability, leverage, public share ownership and institutional ownership have no effect to earnings management. While simultaneously all independent variables have no effect on earnings management.

This research study purpose is to analyze the impact of profitability, independent members of commissioner board, leverage and public shareholders on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Disclosure by using 27 companies listed on Indonesia stock exchange and publishing Sustainability Report for the year during 2015 – 2017 as a sample. Using multiple linear regression as data analysis method, the results show that the proportion of independent board of commissioner of their existence can be a counterweight to various parties so as to encourage companies to disclose CSR, while the higher leverage level, the more likely the company will violate the credit agreement so that the company will seek to report higher earnings now. Therefore, in order for reported earnings to be high, the manager reduces costs, including the costs of disclosure of social responsibility. While profitability, and public share ownership have no effect on CSR Disclosure.
