scholarly journals Automatic Evaluation of Analog Circuits using e-Sim EDA Tool

E-learning and online exams have become norm of the day. E-learning and evaluation of what user has learnt through it, now spans all the disciplines of learning like science, arts, commerce, business, engineering and computer science. Online exams are used as tool for assessing large number of students at a faster pace. Automatic evaluation of concepts is one of the major part of online exams. In this paper the researchers have proposed an online examination system for creating and evaluating analog circuits. The researchers have taken into account electronic circuits that generates analog output and have evaluated and graded these circuits automatically based on its logical and functional aspects. The proposed system will save time and efforts put by faculty in evaluation of large number of students.

E-learning has been carried out all over the world and then online examinations have become an important means to check learning effect during the outbreak of COVID-19. Participant authenticity, data integrity, and access control are the assurance to online examination. The existing online examination schemes cannot provide the protection of biometric features and fine-grained access control. Particularly, they did not discuss how to resolve some disputes among students, teachers, and a platform in a fair and reasonable way. We propose a novel biometric authentication and blockchain-based online examination scheme. The examination data are encrypted to store in a distributed system, which can be obtained only if the user satisfies decryption policy. And the pieces of evidence are recorded in a blockchain network which is jointly established by some credible institutions. Unlike other examination authentication systems, face templates in our scheme are protected using a fuzzy vault and a cryptographic method. Furthermore, educational administrative department can determine who the real initiator of malicious behavior is when a dispute arises using a dispute determination protocol. Analysis shows that no central authority is required in our scheme; the collusion of multiple users cannot obtain more data; even if the authorities compromise, biometric features of each user will not be leaked. Therefore, in terms of privacy-preserving biometric templates, fine-grained access, and dispute resolution, it is superior to the existing schemes.

In this paper authors have concluded the satisfaction of undergraduate students about the e-learning (electronic learning) during pandemic situation. The data is collected through research questionarrie from 94 students of Information Technology departmentof Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Shaheed Benazirabad. From the total participants 75.5% were male and 24.5% were female. from the result analysis we concluded that those students who are already computer literate and established financial background they managed to learn by home however those who have lack of computer knowledge, belongs from the rural areas and unavailability of internet facility they are not supposed to manage the online classes. few students reports that they don’t have computing devices and internet facility therefore they come at the friend’s residency to attend the online class or to attempt the online examination. As we asked one open-ended question to share their experience about the online learning, from that response we have calculated overall sentiments about the students through the MonkeyLearn online tool, results of sentiments shows that 55.3% positive emotions and reset of the students showed negative emotions about the online learning.

This case study examines the results of an effort by a large regionally accredited institution to assure the integrity of its online final examination process. The question of whether the student outcomes achieved when administering an entirely online final exam are comparable to the outcomes achieved when administering proctored final exams for online (e-learning) university classes is the primary focus of this study. The results of an analysis of over 100 online courses and 1800 students indicate that it is possible to establish processes and procedures that allow the results achieved by students on their final exam to be comparable irrespective of whether the final exam is proctored or is a fully online examination.

The system based on formalized teaching with the help of electronic resources is called as E-learning. Using E-Learning in the university education systems has been growing rapidly based on the application of Information Technology (IT) designed for the substitute of traditional based learning approach. In terms of the E-learning based examinations, security constraints such as, identification of the user, misuse the passwords, unauthorized user instead of the authenticated one are available. Because of these disadvantages, the need of an authentication system is very important. The main challenge facing the security of E-learning environment is how to identify the unauthorized users from accessing and managing any platform. Therefore solving the problem of authenticating the valid user is very important. So, an intelligent examination system along with user authentication based on facial expression recognition is proposed in this paper. The proposed system can be classified in to three phases. The first phase is the design of facial database from the captured images. The second phase is the design of Artificial Intelligence (AI) based system for facial feature extraction and its classification using intelligent Agents. The final phase is the authentication of respective users by automatic identification of facial images. The results obtained shows that the proposed methodology has managed to validate the authenticated users and to provide an effective security in the E-learning platform.

Design of an online examination system.Among the system overview, system requirements are analyzed, the development environment is Visual Studio 2008, the database is SQL Server 2005. The overall design of the system contains the design of the system architecture and overall system functional module. The function module includes the lander module and administrator module. The design of the database is completed through the design of database logical structure and database conceptual structure.
