ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Weed Weeding with different weeding times and to determine the effectiveness of the use of chicken manure on the growth and production of shallots (Allium ascolanicum, L). This experiment used factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD). The first factor 5 treatment consists of; PG0 (without weeding weeds), G1 (weed 1 time age, 28 days), G2 (weed 2 times age 21, and 42 hst), G3 (weed 3 times  age, 14, 28, and 42 hst), G3 (3 times age, 14, 28, and 42 days), and G4 (4 times age 7, 14, 21 and 28 days). The second factor 3 treatment consists of; P1 (10 ton ha-1), P2 (20 ton ha-1), and P3 (40 ton ha-1) and 3 groups. The results showed that the treatment of weed weeding and administration of chicken manure organic fertilizer had a significant effect on plant height, number of children, number of plants, fresh weight of plants, and dry weight per plot. Weed control that was effective in increasing the growth of the number of tillers and onion production was, when weed control was twice, at 28 and 42 HST. The dosage of 40 ton h-1 organic fertilizer for chicken coop is quite effective to help the growth of plant height, number of leaves and increase the weight of red onion bulbs, and improve acid soil pH conditions Keywords: Onion Varieties Thailand, Weeding Time, Weed, Growth, Yield, Chicken Manure, Growth and Result of Keywords: ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efetifitas Penyiangan Gulma dengan waktu penyiangan berbeda dan  untuk mengetahui efektifitas pengunaan  pupuk kandang ayam terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascolanicum, L). Percobaan ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial. Faktor pertama  5 perlakuan terdiri atas; PG0 (tanpa penyiangan gulma), G1  (disiang 1 kali, yaitu pada umur ; 28 hst),  G2  (disiang 2 kali, yaitu pada umur ; 21, dan 42 hst), G3 (disiang 3 kali, yaitu pada umur ; 14, 28, dan 42 hst), G3 (disiang 3 kali, yaitu pada umur ; 14, 28, dan 42 hst), dan G4 (disiang 4 kali, yaitu pada umur ; 7, 14, 21, dan 28 hst).  .Faktor kedua 3 perlakuan terdiri atas; P1 (10 ton ha-1), P2 (20 ton ha-1), dan P3 (40 ton ha-1) dan 3 kelompok.  Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan waktu penyiangan gulma dan pemberian dosis pupuk organik kandang ayam berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakkan, jumlah duan, berat segar perumpun,  dan berat kering per petak. Pengendalian gulma yang efektif  dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan jumlah anakan dan produksi tanaman bawang merah adalah, waktu penngendalian gulma sebanayk 2 kali yaitu pada umur 28 dan 42 HST. Sari. Kangkung darat merupakan salah satu tanaman yang dapat menyerap logam berat. Hal ini berkaitan dengan pertumbuhan, hasil, dan keamanan kangkung sebagai bahan konsumsi. Pencemaran lahan pertanian dapat disebabkan dari kegiatan industri, salah satunya yaitu limbah penyamakan kulit yang mengandung logam berat kromium yang mengairi lahan pertanian. Pemberian bahan organik merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan hasil tanaman kangkung darat dan menyerap logam berat. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi macam dan dosis bahan organik pada media tercemar kromium penyamakan kulit terhadap pertumbuhan, hasil dan kandungan kromium pada tanaman kangkung darat. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan sembilan perlakuan dan tiga kali ulangan. Perlakuan kombinasi macam dan dosis bahan organik terdiri dari serasah daun, pupuk kandang kambing, dan kascing dengan dosis masing-masing 5 t ha-1, 10 t ha-1dan 15 t ha-1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan kombinasi macam dan dosis bahan organik pada media tercemar kromium penyamakan kulit berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan, dan hasil tanaman kangkung darat. Kombinasi kascing 15 t ha-1 memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik terhadap tinggi tanaman, bobot segar per tanaman, dan bobot kering per tanaman, sedangkan pemberian serasah daun 5 t ha-1 menghasilkan tanaman kangkung darat dengan kandungan kromium yang lebih rendah (51,33 mgkg-1) dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya tetapi tanaman dengan kadar tersebut belum aman untuk dikonsumsi.Kata Kunci : kangkung darat, bahan organik, kromium, hasilAbstract. Water spinach is a heavy metal accumulator plant if grown in polluted soils. This raises the concern of water spinach safety as one of the most consumed vegetables in Asian household. Land pollution in water spinach cultivation area can be caused by industrial activities that involve heavy metals such as tannery. Industrial waste such as chrome leaches to the water system that eventually will be used as irrigation source for agriculture. Organic fertilizer is a potential solution to increase water spinach growth, yield, and absorb heavy metal contaminants. This research evaluated the effect of type and dosage of organic fertilizer on water spinach that grown in chromium-polluted soils. This research design used Randomized Block Design (RBD) with nine treatments and three replication. The treatment of combination of types and dosages of organic fertilizer. There were dried leaves, goat manure, and vermicompost with dosage of 5 t ha-1, 10 t ha-1 and 15 t ha-1. The results of this research showed that the effect of combination of organic fertilizer type and dosages at chrome polluted media gave better effect on growth, and yield of water spinach. Giving vermicompost of 15 t ha-1 gaves better effect on plant height, fresh weight of plant, and dry weight of plant, meanwhile the doses of 5 t ha-1dried leaves showed the lowest chrome content compared to other treatments, but these plants are still unsafe for consumption due to high chrome content.Keywords: water spinach, organic fertilizer, chromium, yield

The research aims to determine the growth and production response of two varieties of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) to the provision of various sources of nitrogen. This research was conducted in Lambar village, Tigapanah sub-district, Karo regency, Sumatera Utara Province with altitude of ± 1200 meters above sea level, which started on July to September 2017. This research used a factorial randomized block design with 2 factors namely varieties of lettuce (crop and lettuce) and sources of nitrogen (urea fertilizer, chicken manure and Liquid organic fertilizer of rabbit urine). The parameters observed were plant height, greenish leaves, crop circle, fresh weight of plant per sample and fresh weight of plant per plot. The results showed that both varieties were significantly different in the parameters of plant height, greenish leaves, the number of leaves, and the fresh weight of the plant per sample. Application of nitrogen source showed differences in plant height at 10 weeks after move planting and fresh weight of plant per sample.

This study aims to examine the effect of concentration of liquid organic fertilizer supermes on various spacing to the growth and yield of onion. The experiment was conducted in Dusun Telaga Kodok, Hitu Lama Village, Leihitu Barat District, Central Maluku District, from March to April 2017. The experiment used was a Randomized Block Design with three replications. The concentration of liquid organic fertilizer supermes consists of: 0, 2, 4, 6 mL/L water. Plant ing distance consists of: 10 × 15 cm, 15 × 15 cm and 20 × 15 cm. Varieties used were varieties of Bima Brebes. Parameters measured were plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers, root length, wet weight and dry weight of tubers. During the experiment, rainfall and rainy days were quite high at the research location. This condition causes the crop to be harvested at 41 HST because it is attacked by ground caterpillar, mosaic disease and purple spots. The application of liquid organic fertilizer has not shown any significant effect to the growth and yield parameters of shallot crop. Planting distance of 15 × 15 cm shows the effect on plant height and number of leaves at 35 HST, tuber weight and tuber dry weight and there is a significant interaction on the leaf number at 35 HST with concentration of 4 mL/L water and Planting Distance 15 × 15 cm. Keywords: liquid organic fertilizer, planting distance, red onion   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh konsentrasi pupuk organik cair supermes pada berbagai jarak tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Dusun Telaga Kodok, Desa Hitu Lama Kecamatan Leihitu Barat, Kabupaten Maluku Tengah, dari bulan Maret sampai dengan April 2017. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan tiga ulangan. Konsentrasi pupuk organik cair Supermes terdiri dari 0, 2, 4, 6 mL/L air. Jarak tanam terdiri dari 10 ×15 cm, 15 × 15 cm, dan 20 × 15 cm. Varietas yang digunakan adalah varietas Bima Brebes. Paramater yang diukur adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah umbi, panjang akar, bobot basah dan bobot kering umbi. Selama percobaan berlangsung curah hujan dan hari hujan cukup tinggi terjadi di lokasi penelitian. Kondisi ini menyebabkan tanaman dipanen pada umur 41 HST karena diserang oleh hama ulat tanah, penyakit mozaik dan bercak ungu. Pemberian pupuk organik cair belum memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap parameter pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah. Jarak tanaman 15 × 15 cm berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun pada 35 HST, bobot basah umbi dan bobot kering umbi serta adanya interaksi perlakuan yang nyata terhadap jumlah daun pada umur 35 HST dengan konsentrasi 4 mL/L air dan jarak tanam 15 × 15 cm. Research aims to test the effectiveness of various types of manure combined with various doses of application for the growth and result of shallot varieties of Palu Valley. This research was designed using factorial randomized block design. The first factor was manure with three types of treatment, namely chicken manure (P1), got manure (P2), cow manure (P3). The second factor was the dose of manure consisting of three types of treatment, namely 10 t ha­­-1 (3,6 kg plot-1) (D1), 20 t ha­­-1 (7,2 kg plot-1) (D2), 30 t ha­­-1 (10,8 kg plot-1) (D3). The results show that the combination of various types of treatment and doses of chicken manure interacts on plat height parameters aged 35 days after planting. The treatment of chicken manure with a dose of 30 t ha-1 gives better results. The single treatment of chicken manure gave better results for the plant height, weight of leaves, root dry weight, leaf dry weight , number of tubers per clump. Single treatment of manure dosage of 30 t ha-1 gave better results on plant height, leaf area , leaf fres weight, leaf dry weight tuber fresh weight per hectare.

Abstract The research aims to find the effect of biofilm biofertilizer formula and dose of organic fertilizer on phosphorus uptake and yield of shallot on Vertisols. The research was arranged in a completely randomized block design with two factors: dosage of organic fertilizer (0, 10, 20-ton ha-1) and the formula of biofilm biofertilizer (without BiO2, BiO2 1, BiO2 2, BiO2 3). Variables observed are available-P, P-uptake, bulb number, and bulb weight. Data were analyzed using F test followed by DMRT at α = 0.05. The result shows that 20-ton ha-1 organic fertilizer decomposed with biofilm biofertilizer yield highest P-uptake and plant dry weight which increases 322 and 216 % to control treatment (0.50 and 1.26 g plant-1). The use of 10-ton ha-1 of organic fertilizer yield highest bulb number and weight i.e 5.58 bulbs plant-1 and 116 g plant-1 increase 27 and 172% compared to the control. The BiO2 formula only affected to the plant height, and the use of formula 1 able to increase the plant height about 13.5% compared to control treatment.

This study aimed to determine the effect of different biostimulant applications (solid and liquid) on the growth and yield of mustard plants. This study used a single factor Randomized Block Design (RBD), consisting of solid or liquid biostimulant treatment, each has twelve levels, i.e. K0 = without biostimulant, K1 = NPK 1 g per plant, solid and liquid biostimulant each consisting of 10 treatments = B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7, B8, B9, B10. Solid biostimulant was given at 2.5 g per plant and liquid biostimulant at 10 ml per plant. The results showed that liquid biostimulant gave a significant effect on plant height, crop fresh weight, and crop dry weight; whereas solid biostimulant gave a very significant effect on entire weight, i.e. fresh weight of mustard plant, fresh root weight, and crop dry weight. The best treatment for liquid biostimulant was B1 treatment; whereas for the solid biostimulant was B7 treatment. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok faktor tunggal yang terdiri dari perlakuan Biostimulan (padat dan cair) yang masing-masing perlakuan terdapat dua belas taraf (P): K0 = tanpa biostimulan, K1 = NPK 1 g/tan, Biostimulan padat dan cair masing-masing terdiri dari 10 perlakuan = B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7, B8, B9, B10. Biostimulan padat 2.5 g/tan dan biostimulan cair 10 ml/tan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biostimulan cair memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman sawi, berat segar tanaman, dan berat kering tanaman, sedangkan biostimulan padat memberikan pengaruh yang sangat nyata terhadap semua bobot berat tanaman sawi yaitu berat segar tanaman, berat segar akar, dan berat kering tanaman. Perlakuan terbaik untuk biostimulan cair adalah perlakuan B1, sedangkan untuk biostimulan padat perlakuan yang terbaik adalah perlakuan B7. Kata kunci: biostimulan, sawi, pertumbuhan, produksi

The use of organic fertilizer provides soil with macronutrients, micronutrients, and organic acids which improve the long-term physical, chemical, and biological fertility of the soil. This research aims to: 1) Increase physical and chemical soil fertility, 2) Acquire the interaction between organic fertilizer and Ponska fertilizer dosage on sweet corn crops, 3) Acquire the most efficient dosage of PONSKA  fertilizer on sweet corn, and 4) disseminate research results through journal articles and directly to farmers.  This research will increase the efficiency of NPK Ponska chemical fertilizers by utilizing waste from around the farm and lakes to formulate organic fertilizer to apply on sweet corn crops and as a reference to teaching material. Factorial research with two factors was designed using a randomized block design. Factor I (A) = Organic fertilizer formulation, comprising of A1 = 20 ton/ha, A2 = 30 ton/ha, and A3 = 40 ton/ha.  Factor II (B) =  Phonska fertilizer,  comprising of B1 = 25 % Ponska, and B2 = 50% Ponska. Every treatment was replicated four times, yielding 24 research plots. Response variables observed were: Plant height, number of leaves, dry weight of the plant. Data were analyzed using ANOVA, followed by Tukey's honest significance difference test (alpha = 0.05) if significant differences were found. Results showed that the interaction between organic and Phonska fertilizer formulations had significant effects on plant height. A dosage of 40 ton/ha of organic fertilizer can decrease the use of phonska fertilizer by 75% based on the height of sweet corn plants.

ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to know the effect of organic fertilizer formulation and NPK Phonska fertilizer on the growth and yield of sweet corn, and to get organic fertilizer formulation for the efficiency of inorganic fertilizer NPK Phonska in increasing the yield of sweet corn. The factorial experiment was designed using a Randomized Block Design consisting of two factors. Factor I (A) = Formulation of Organic Fertilizer, consisting of A1 = Water hyacinth, Cow Manure, chicken manure, A2 = Hydrilla verticillata, cow dung, chicken manure, A3 = Kirinyuh, cow dung, chicken manure. Factor II (B) = Phonska fertilizer, Consist of B1 = 25% Phonska, B2 = 50% Phonska, B3 = 75% Phonska, B4 = 100% Phonska. Each treatment was repeated three times to obtain 36 experimental plots. Response variables observed included: Plant dry weight, Length of cob, Cob diameter, Weight of cob, measured at harvest. Data were analyzed using variance analysis and if there was effect of treatment continued by using Test of Honest Real Difference (BNJ) at 5% test level. The results showed that the interaction between organic fertilizer formulation and NPK phonska significantly affect the diameter of cob and sweet corn cob weight. The dry weight of sweet corn plant is influenced by organic fertilizer formulation. Formulation of organic fertilizer Hydrilla verticillata + cow dung + chicken dung 20 ton / ha dose able to reduce the dose of NPK Phonska at half of the recommended dosage.Keywords: formulation of organic fertilizer, sweet corn yield, Phonska  ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi formulasi pupuk organik dan pupuk NPK Phonska terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jagung manis, serta mendapatkan formulasi pupuk organik untuk efisiensi pupuk anorganik NPK Phonska dalam meningkatkan hasil jagung manis. Percobaan factorial  dirancang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok yang terdiri dari dua faktor. Faktor I (A) = Formulasi Pupuk Organik, terdiri dari A1 = Eceng gondok, Kotoran sapi, kotoran ayam, A2 = Hydrilla verticillata, kotoran sapi, kotoran ayam, A3 = Kirinyuh, kotoran sapi, kotoran ayam. Faktor II(B) =  Pupuk Phonska, Terdiri dari B1 = 25% Phonska, B2 = 50% Phonska, B3 = 75% Phonska, B4 = 100 % Phonska. Setiap perlakuan diulang tiga kali sehingga diperoleh 36 petak percobaan. Variabel respons yang diamati  meliputi : Berat kering tanaman, Panjang tongkol, Diameter tongkol, Bobot tongkol, diukur pada saat panen. Data  dianalisis menggunakan  analisis ragam dan jika terdapat pengaruh perlakuan dilanjutkan dengan menggunakan Uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) pada taraf uji 5 %. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwaInteraksi antara formulasi pupuk organik dan NPK phonska berpengaruh nyata terhadap diameter tongkol dan  bobot tongkol jagung manis. Bobot kering tanaman jagung manis dipengaruhi oleh  formulasi pupuk organik.  Formulasi pupuk organik Hydrilla verticillata+ kotoran sapi+kotoran ayam dosis 20 ton/ha mampu menurunkan dosis NPK Phonska setengah dari dosis rekomendasi.Kata kunci: formulasi pupuk organik, hasil jagung manis, Phonska

 Increased Yields Onion Plant and Changes of Soil Chemical Properties with Semiorganic Fertilization on Inceptisol Soil Tabanan. Thisexperiment to study the effects of inorganic fertilizer (P) and organic fertilizer (K) on the chemical properties as well as onion yields. A Factorial Randomized Block Design pot Experiment was conducted under Inceptisol soil conditions located at Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency. The inorganic treatments consisted of P0 (control), P1 (50kg Phonska ha-1 + 200 kg ZA ha-1), P2 (100 kg Phonska ha-1 + 150 kg ZA ha-1), P3 (150 kg Phonska ha-1 + 100 kg.ZA ha-1). The organic treatments consisted of K0 (control), K1 (2 tons ha-1), K2 (4 tons ha-1), K3 (6 tons ha-1). Plant parameters observed including: plant height (cm), maximum number of leaves, maximum number of tubers, fresh and oven dry weight of tubers and hypothetical tubers fresh yields. The observed chemical soil properties including: soil pH and CEC.  All data were analyzed using variance analysis and Duncan's test (0.05). The results showed that all fertilization treatments have significant effects on most parameters observed except plant height, soil pH and CEC. The P2K2 (100 kg Phonska ha-1 + 150 kg ZA ha-1) and (4 tons ha-1) treatment resulted in the best effects on the number tubers (7.7 tubers), weight of fresh tubers (37.9 g), tubers dry weight (6.5 g) per pot respectively. The highest hypothetical yields (9.5 tons ha-1) were also found under this treatment as well as the highest soil pH (6.6) and CEC (46.8 me 100g-1 of soil).

Black corn has its advantage compare to regular corn due to the nutrition component. This could lead the increase of demant to this corn variety. The Effect of providing various biochar sources and various manure on the growthand production of Zea mays black maiz L. The study used factorial randomized block design with two factors, namely the provision of various biochar sources which was combined into several organic fertilizer. Parameters observed were plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, wet production weight/sample using klobot, wet production weight/plot using klobot,wet production weight/sample without klobot, wet production weight/plot without klobot, dru production weigh of pipil/sample, dry weight of production of onehundred grain pipil. The results of the study showed that the effect of giving various biochar of rice husk corn cobs of candlenut shells did not signficantly affect all observation parameters and various manure, namely cows, chickens and goats also did not significantly affect all observed parameters.
