The article deals with the role of metre in forming linguopoetic features of parallelism in the Azerbaijan and English languages. Phonological parallelism plays a crucial role in forming of linguopoetic features of parallelism. Being the basic rhythmic structure of a verse or lines in verse metre is one of the main ways of forming phonological parallelism in both languages. In the research of metre literary texts have been considered by linguistic scholars of both languages and in these texts the most common types of metres and their frequency of use have widely been investigated. In both languages approaches to the issue of metre are quite various and thereby we observe the possibilities of different linguopoetic features in poetic samples of stated languages. The defining feature of memoirs as a genre is the understanding of the events and the author’s own role in them. The world of the language personality of the author-narrator becomes the dominant component, which forms the meaning of the text. One of the possibilities of its linguistic study is to rely on key concepts, which are implemented by some lexical units, reflecting the worldview of the narrator and showing the conceptual and idiostylistic nature of the text. Studying military memoirs of Marshal Rokossovsky allowed to reveal a special role of the word preparation, which has a high frequency of use and is of a high importance as an evaluation tool. It may be considered one of the key words of the text because it refl ects one of the major areas of focus of Rokossovsky during the war. Thus, the meaning of the text in the genre of memoirs and personality of its creator can be interpreted by considering the important components in the activities of the author-narrator. One concept predominates the meaning of their work and becomes one of the key-concepts. From the perspective of this key concept the author evaluates events and their participants as positive or negative.

This book examines late nineteenth-century feminism in relation to technologies of the time, marking the crucial role of technology in social and literary struggles for equality. The New Woman, the fin de siècle cultural archetype of early feminism, became the focal figure for key nineteenth-century debates concerning issues such as gender and sexuality, evolution and degeneration, science, empire and modernity. While the New Woman is located in the debates concerning the ‘crisis in gender’ or ‘sexual anarchy’ of the time, the period also saw an upsurge of new technologies of communication, transport and medicine. This book explores the interlinking of gender and technology in writings by overlooked authors such as Grant Allen, Tom Gallon, H. G. Wells, Margaret Todd and Mathias McDonnell Bodkin. As the book demonstrates, literature of the time is inevitably caught up in a technological modernity: technologies such as the typewriter, the bicycle, and medical technologies, through literary texts come to work as freedom machines, as harbingers of female emancipation.

The article investigates the role of communicative-functional approach in the translation of scientific and technical literature, when the translation itself is seen as a tool to accomplish purposeful activity of communicators, representatives of different interlingual groups. In practical terms, the difficulties of translating scientific and technical texts are due to the peculiarities of scientific style, insufficient understanding of the terminology of a particular field of knowledge, which complicates the choice of adequate translation solutions. In this context, an important role is played by the translation strategy, where the communicativefunctional approach dominates. The translation is implicitly included in the communication structure between the author and the recipient. The relevance of the article is determined by the necessity of studying the problems of scientific and technical literature translation, taking into account the current realities of interlanguage information exchange. "Utterance universalism" as a phrase is unclear, but it is enough to include the term "prophetism". As a metaphysical concept, it refers to a text written with inspiration which confirms visions of a "divine inspiration", "poetic" - "legal", that contains trace, revelation or interpretation of the origin of the creation of the world and life on earth but it warns and prospects their future in the form of a projection, literary paradigm, religious doctrine and law. Prophetic texts reformulate "toll-telling" with messages, ideas, which put forth (lat. "Utters Forth" gr. "Forthteller") hidden facts from fiction and imagination. Prometheus, gr. Prometheus (/ prəmiθprə-mee-mo means "forethought") is a Titan in Greek mythology, best known as the deity in Greek mythology who was the creator of humanity and charity of its largest, who stole fire from the mount Olympus and gave it to the mankind. Prophetic texts derive from a range of artifacts and prophetic elements, as the creative magic or the miracle of literary texts, symbolism, musicality, rhythm, images, poetic rhetoric, valence of meaning of the text, code of poetic diction that refers to either a singer in a trance or a person inspired in delirium, who believes he is sent by his God with a message to tell about events and figures that have existed, or the imaginary ancient and modern world. Text Prophetism is a combination of artifacts and platonic idealism. Key words: text Prophetism, holy text, poetic text, law text, vision, image, figure
