Teaching strategy and media are two important factors that influence the success of teaching and learning process. The implementation of Buzz group method that are integrated with audio visual media is one example of the effective teaching strategies that can be used to teach speaking. Students taking ESP class at UNARS had difficulties with speaking skill because of their limited vocabularies. Thus, this research tried to see how if Buzz group implemented with audio visual media implemented to the students to mprove their speaking skill. This CAR was held in one cycle. The result showed that the strategy was effective in improving the students’ speaking skill.

This research is an experimental research. This study aims to find out the effect of communication games as a teaching strategy and self-esteem toward students speaking skill at SMP Dr. Abd Ahmad PGAI Padang. The population of this research was students of grade VIII SMP Dr. Abd Ahmad PGAI Padang. The technique used is Cluster Random Sampling. The sample consists of students at VIII A as experimental class and VIII B as control class. In this research, the test is used to analize students’ speaking skill and questionnaire was used to collect self-esteem data. Data from the research were analyzed by using two-way t-test and ANOVA (ANOVA 2x2)4. The results of this research were (1) students taught with Communication Game have better speaking skills than students taught by conventional strategies, (2) the speaking skill of students with high self-esteem with Communication Game gives higher results than Conventional teaching strategies, (3) students 'speaking skills with low Self-Esteem with Communication Game gives higher results than conventional teaching strategies, and (4) there is no interaction between strategy and Self-Esteem in transactional text.

The aims of the study are to know whether communicative games have an impact on teaching speaking skill and describe how communicative games give an influence on speaking skills of students at junior high schools in Jakarta, Indonesia. Classroom Action Research (CAR) was implemented based on Kurt. L model. The procedures used were planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. It was done into two cycles in each cycle consisted of three meetings. The researcher used collaborative action research with some of the English teachers. In collecting the data, the instruments were interview, observation, questionnaire and test. The test only given to students. The rest of the instruments administered for both teachers and students. The result of the study showed the mean score’s pretest reached of 60.42 to 69.02 and post test’s score reached up to 78.77. It is important to describe that there is a significant improvement of 13.9% to 41.7% in post test 1 and 83.33% in post test 2. Therefore, the criteria of success had been determined. It is crucial to note that communicative games have contributed a positive impact on teaching learning process. This also implies the communicative games expected to enhance students’ enthusiasm and motivation. Clearly, It gives positive improvement on students’ active participation, confidence and their fluency in speaking skill. In short it can be described that the strategy of teaching and learning creates good, enjoyable circumstances and reduces the boredom and stress of learning process.

This research is aimed at improving speaking skills of the eleventh graders ofSMK Hidayatul Mubtadien Sampang through acting-out student-made playscripts. This research employed Classroom Action Research. It is consists of 2cycles. Each cycle there were five meetings. Every cycle consists of fourphases in planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. This research begunwith the preliminary study to find the problems. There were 8 students or 33.33%of students in the class who achieved KKM. The low scores are supportedfrom interview to the English teacher and some students. The result are the studentswere not motivated, lacked vocabulary, afraid and shy of making mistakes, notenthusiastic, bored, the students seldom to perform in speaking activities, teachercentered,and the students were passive in the teaching and learning process. Theresult of the study showed that the speaking test in cycle 1 were 13 students or54.17% and speaking test in cycle 2 were 20 students or 83.33% students in theclass who achieved KKM and the result of fieldnotes are: interested, enthusiastic,spirit, high motivation, active, brave, confident, and enjoy in speaking activities,and the result of questionnaire that the response of the students were strong andvery strong category. English Foreign Language (EFL) students, most of the time, face difficulties in learning English, especially in mastering speaking skills. One of the most common problems faced in the teaching and learning process for speaking skills is the lack of motivation and students tend to use their first language. As the development of technology, the teacher is required to involve digital teaching, especially related to the use of computers. Employing computer or Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) in the teaching and learning process is highly recommended for a fun and exciting learning. In this particular case, englishch-hilfen.de serves as an answer for those seeking such a learning process. A qualitative study was involved to identify how the use of englishch-hilfen.de can improve and give a significant effect on students’ English performance, especially for speaking and vocabulary aspects. The result of this study suggested that the content within englishch-hilfen.de is very beneficial for it provides such meaningful and stimulating activities for English language students.

This Collaborative Classroom Action Research aimed at enhancing students’ speaking skill through the application of Circle Game. It was conducted in one cycle consisting of two meetings. The subject was the seventh of C class of SMPN 2 Alas Barat consisting of 22 students. The types of data were qualitative (acquiring observation during the learning process) and quantitative (speaking tests). The results qualitatively showed that the implementation of Circle Game enhanced the students’ speaking skills. Such improvement could be seen from their enthusiasm, their interesting feeling in various materials presented by the teacher, their active involvement. In the quantitative findings, the result also showed a higher value of the mean score of the post-test (77.34) rather than the pre-test (75.75). In conclusion, the use of Circle Game can improve students’ speaking skill.

It influenced the internalization of Islamic Educationvalues to students. According to the above background, contextual approach was assumed to create amore meaningful and effective teaching and learning process. The study revealed that most teachersdeveloped instructional material merely based on Teacher Association for Islamic EducationReference, a discrepancy between lesson plan and the implementation was found due to insufficienttime and too-much material, and a problem in applying various methods was found due to student’sbasic competence diversity ranging from the 75-80% to 20-25% mastery creating less conduciveatmosphere for effective teaching and learning process. This qualitative case study investigated the effectiveness of lesson delivery and sequence of content and learning expectations of two English Language attached to a special education (Integration programme) school in Petaling Jaya. Malaysia. It also focused on the teaching and learning problems encountered in the particular classrooms. This study brings broader understanding of strategies for effective teaching of English in a special education classroom in Malaysia. The rationale for the study stems from the need to gain greater perspective of the teaching of English learners in a special education classroom. Results reflect analysis of classroom observation, face to face interview with two English Language and document review. Project based learning (PBL) is an instructional approach that focuses on student centre learning, learning process, and students’ autonomy. This study was conducted at International Class Program in one of universities in Salatiga. Furthermore, this study explained the teaching strategies by using project based learning in English drama class. The researcher used a case study as the design and collected the data by using interview and observation. The participants of this study were an English drama lecturer and 20 students of International Class Program (ICP). The findings indicate that ICP students dominated the class especially to improve their speaking skill and the lecturer provided new learning atmosphere in teaching English by giving some activities which contains communication, critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity or 4Cs skills.

Learning the speaking skills in the girls' dormitory of Aceh Alfityan foundation emphasizes on memorizing a lot of vocabularies and practicing of Arabic conversation. After conducting pre observation, the researcher found that the second grade of junior high school faced a number of problems in practicing the Arabic conversation such as the difficulty in arranging the Arabic sentences in accordance with the rules. The results of this classroom action research indicated that the application of mind mapping and photographic models were effective and could help the students to improve and smarten their speaking skills. As the researcher note in their daily conversations, the students’ ability in Arabic speaking skill was better than before. The students’ response toward the learning speaking skills using mind mapping and photography models was very effective. It was based on the observation in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The students were very delighted while learning activity and at the same time they could also improve their understanding toward the learning materials. In addition, they were be able to practice Arabic conversation skills fluently during their daily life. Moreover, the application of mind mapping and photographic models took the important role in enhancing the ability of students’ Arabic speaking skills. It was supported by the results analysis of each student’s answer in each phase. The researchers found an average increase in the students’ learning evaluation test in each phase.
