School of Information and Computer Management (STMIK) Indonesia Padang is a private university under the auspices of the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) Region X, producing graduates who are competent in the field of system analysts and database administrators. Requirements to meet undergraduate graduates (S1) final year students need to complete a final project or thesis. Final year students at STMIK Indonesia Padang often experience confusion in taking the final assignment topic. This is due to the fact that the final year students have not been able to direct their potential in determining the final assignment topic. In this case, researchers conducted the process of grouping final level students using the Data Mining K-means Clustering technique. The process of grouping final-level students is done by utilizing the data of course values from the field mapping system analysts and database administrators. In this grouping two clusters will be produced, namely students taking the final assignment of system analysts and database administrator. So by using this K-means Clustering method, students have direction in taking the final assignment topic. The results obtained from 40 data samples used were students who took the topic of the final project system analysts as many as 20 students and students who took the final assignment of database administrators were 20 students.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine the factors that impact the quality of the education service in a Peruvian private university, based on the perception of students and graduates. Design/methodology/approach The sample consisted of 29 students and 20 graduates from the Administration and Finance Program of a Peruvian private university. The data was collected through focus groups and in-depth interviews based on the students’ and graduates’ perspectives of their experiences. The collected data was subjected to content analysis. Findings The study identified ten factors or the underlying dimensions that drive the quality of the education service provided by a Peruvian private university. The factors are professors, lecturers, curriculum, extracurricular activities, position and recognition of the university, infrastructure, library, admission, adequate communication mechanisms with faculty and authorities and services. The main quality indicators of the education service were the professors and curriculum planning. As the students were using the education service, they were more focused on “how” they received the service, rather than “what” services they received, i.e. they evaluated the quality of the process. In contrast, graduates gave more importance to functional service quality. They evaluated the quality of “what they received,” i.e. the result. Research limitations/implications The study has several limitations. First, the qualitative approach does not allow generalizing data. The sample size was relatively small and only involved one Peruvian private university. The study was based on the respondent’s perceptions, which were considered accurate. Practical implications Based on the study findings, the authors made recommendations to meet the needs of the students and graduates. These findings can help universities to develop strategies that improve educational quality and to allocate resources more effectively. Further research could focus on factors that impact service quality in higher education at different stages of the student lifecycle, namely, applicants (service expectations), students (quality of the process) and graduates (results). The authors suggest validating these results quantitatively. Originality/value The study proposes a framework of the higher education service quality based on the experiences of students and graduates that can be used by higher education institutions to continue improving educational quality. The originality of the study lies in the perspective on service quality according to the experiences of students and graduates. Also, this study provides empirical evidence on service quality research in Latin American higher education institutions.

ABSTRACTThe research objective is to determine the results of the assessment by the Natural Sciences method for the determinant variables of satisfaction of higher education services including: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, in the Purwakarta and Subang regions, and to map the scores of the assessment results using the Natural Sciences into a Cartesian diagram so that management can take corrective action against management of service quality that has been running so far. The research hypothesis is assumed that the determinant variables of higher education service satisfaction will significantly influence student satisfaction. A descriptive Method (survey) used in this study. The study population was private university students in academy in the area of commissariat IV B APTISI West Java, in the cities of Subang and Purwakarta. The sample uses proportional to the Slovin formula. The results of the study are: 1. Tangible, Reliability, Responsive, and Emphaty variables are in quadrant A, which shows that the performance of these variables is lower than the desire of PTS students in Subang and Purwakarta cities, and 2. Assurance variable is in quadrant D , which shows that performance is at a high level but students' desires are only low.

when necessary so that the office can provide effective services. Archives are needed in administration because archives are the center of memory for every activity in an office. Without archives, it is impossible for an archivist to remember all records and documents completely. The data analysis technique in this study uses inductive logic. The analysis will move from something specific or specific, namely those obtained in the field, towards a finding that is general in nature and can draw a conclusion. The results show that the implementation of the Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation Number 28 of 2012 concerning Archives at the Region II Higher Education Service Institution has not been carried out properly, the archives are still partially stored, this is due to insufficient human resources and a special archive room is not yet available

In the era of digital learning, multimedia-based classroom has been commonly used in higher education including Malaysian higher education institutions. A case study has been performed to evaluate web-based learning using Level 1 to 3 of Kirkpatrick's model in a multi-disciplinary course at Multimedia University, Malaysia. In this study, mixed method research was employed in which triangulation was performed from multiple sources of data collection to give deeper understanding. Students perceived that learning with multimedia was enjoyable. They were also motivated in learning and engaged through the use of web module as multimedia was perceived to motivate them and make learning fun. Students showed significant improvements in their knowledge based on the pre-test and post-test results on learning evaluation. Students were perceived to transfer the learning from web-based learning into the learning outcome. The systematic evaluation can provide the feedback that educators and institution as a whole need to improve the learning environment and programme quality. This study contributes to the research field by adding another perspective in evaluations of web-based learning. It also provides empirical evidence on student perspectives, learning and behaviour in a private university. It demonstrated that the Kirkpatrick's model is useful as an evaluation tool to be used in higher education.

This paper focuses on the understanding of service quality in the context of Vietnamese universities. It proposes an approach for measuring the quality of the higher education service provided by universities in Vietnam. Firstly, an exploratory study was conducted. Then, the set of items which were generated became the subject of a questionnaire that was then administered to 675 students of a Vietnamese university to determine the dimensions of higher education service quality in this context. The obtained results permit us to appropriate a measurement scale which is slightly different from the SERVQUAL scale widely known as the standard for measuring service quality. The results also show that tangible elements, responsiveness and assurance seem to be three specific dimensions of the higher education service of Vietnamese universities.

Milk is an important intake to meet nutritional needs. Both consumed by children, and adults. Indonesia has many producers of fresh milk, but it is not sufficient for national milk needs. Data mining is a science in the field of computers that is widely used in research. one of the data mining techniques is Clustering. Clustering is a method by grouping data. The Clustering method will be more optimal if you use a lot of data. Data to be used are provincial data in Indonesia from 2000 to 2017 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. The results of this study are in Clusters based on 2 milk-producing groups, namely high-dairy producers and low-milk producing regions. From 27 data on fresh milk production in Indonesia, two high-level provinces can be obtained, namely: West Java and East Java. And 25 others were added in 7 provinces which did not follow the calculation of the K-Means Clustering Algorithm, including in the low level cluster.

Psychological research centers help indirectly contact professionals from the fields of human life, job environment, family life, and psychological infrastructure for psychiatric patients. This research aims to detect job apathy patterns from the behavior of employee groups in the University of Baghdad and the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This investigation presents an approach using data mining techniques to acquire new knowledge and differs from statistical studies in terms of supporting the researchers’ evolving needs. These techniques manipulate redundant or irrelevant attributes to discover interesting patterns. The principal issue identifies several important and affective questions taken from a questionnaire, and the psychiatric researchers recommend these questions. Useless questions are pruned using the attribute selection method. Moreover, pieces of information gained through these questions are measured according to a specific class and ranked accordingly. Association and a priori algorithms are used to detect the most influential and interrelated questions in the questionnaire. Consequently, the decisive parameters that may lead to job apathy are determined.
