A positroid variety is an intersection of cyclically rotated Grassmannian Schubert varieties.  Each graded piece of the homogeneous coordinate ring of a positroid variety is the intersection of cyclically rotated (rectangular) Demazure modules, which we call the cyclic Demazure module.  In this note, we show that the cyclic Demazure module has a canonical basis, and define the cyclic Demazure crystal.

We study the classical limit of a family of irreducible representations of the quantum affine algebra associated to $\mathfrak{sl}_{n+1}$. After a suitable twist, the limit is a module for $\mathfrak{sl}_{n+1}[t]$, i.e., for the maximal standard parabolic subalgebra of the affine Lie algebra. Our first result is about the family of prime representations introduced in Hernandez and Leclerc (Duke Math. J.154 (2010), 265–341; Symmetries, Integrable Systems and Representations, Springer Proceedings in Mathematics & Statitics, Volume 40, pp. 175–193 (2013)), in the context of a monoidal categorification of cluster algebras. We show that these representations specialize (after twisting) to $\mathfrak{sl}_{n+1}[t]$-stable prime Demazure modules in level-two integrable highest-weight representations of the classical affine Lie algebra. It was proved in Chari et al. (arXiv:1408.4090) that a stable Demazure module is isomorphic to the fusion product of stable prime Demazure modules. Our next result proves that such a fusion product is the limit of the tensor product of the corresponding irreducible prime representations of quantum affine $\mathfrak{sl}_{n+1}$.

Let g \mathfrak {g} be a finite simply-laced type simple Lie algebra. Baumann-Kamnitzer-Knutson recently defined an algebra morphism D ¯ \overline {D} on the coordinate ring C [ N ] \mathbb {C}[N] related to Brion’s equivariant multiplicities via the geometric Satake correspondence. This map is known to take distinguished values on the elements of the MV basis corresponding to smooth MV cycles, as well as on the elements of the dual canonical basis corresponding to Kleshchev-Ram’s strongly homogeneous modules over quiver Hecke algebras. In this paper we show that when g \mathfrak {g} is of type A n A_n or D 4 D_4 , the map D ¯ \overline {D} takes similar distinguished values on the set of all flag minors of C [ N ] \mathbb {C}[N] , raising the question of the smoothness of the corresponding MV cycles. We also exhibit certain relations between the values of D ¯ \overline {D} on flag minors belonging to the same standard seed, and we show that in any A D E ADE type these relations are preserved under cluster mutations from one standard seed to another. The proofs of these results partly rely on Kang-Kashiwara-Kim-Oh’s monoidal categorification of the cluster structure of C [ N ] \mathbb {C}[N] via representations of quiver Hecke algebras.

AbstractWe study the non-symmetric Macdonald polynomials specialized at infinity from various points of view. First, we define a family of modules of the Iwahori algebra whose characters are equal to the non-symmetric Macdonald polynomials specialized at infinity. Second, we show that these modules are isomorphic to the dual spaces of sections of certain sheaves on the semi-infinite Schubert varieties. Third, we prove that the global versions of these modules are homologically dual to the level one affine Demazure modules for simply-laced Dynkin types except for type {\mathrm{E}_{8}}.

Abstract We compute the spaces of sections of powers of the determinant line bundle on the spherical Schubert subvarieties of the Beilinson–Drinfeld affine Grassmannians. The answer is given in terms of global Demazure modules over the current Lie algebra.

AbstractLet $$\mathcal S$$ S be a single condition Schubert variety with an arbitrary number of strata. Recently, an explicit description of the summands involved in the decomposition theorem applied to such a variety has been obtained in a paper of the second author. Starting from this result, we provide an explicit description of the Poincaré polynomial of the intersection cohomology of $$\mathcal S$$ S by means of the Poincaré polynomials of its strata, obtaining interesting polynomial identities relating Poincaré polynomials of several Grassmannians, both by a local and by a global point of view. We also present a symbolic study of a particular case of these identities.

Abstract The elliptic algebras in the title are connected graded $\mathbb {C}$ -algebras, denoted $Q_{n,k}(E,\tau )$ , depending on a pair of relatively prime integers $n>k\ge 1$ , an elliptic curve E and a point $\tau \in E$ . This paper examines a canonical homomorphism from $Q_{n,k}(E,\tau )$ to the twisted homogeneous coordinate ring $B(X_{n/k},\sigma ',\mathcal {L}^{\prime }_{n/k})$ on the characteristic variety $X_{n/k}$ for $Q_{n,k}(E,\tau )$ . When $X_{n/k}$ is isomorphic to $E^g$ or the symmetric power $S^gE$ , we show that the homomorphism $Q_{n,k}(E,\tau ) \to B(X_{n/k},\sigma ',\mathcal {L}^{\prime }_{n/k})$ is surjective, the relations for $B(X_{n/k},\sigma ',\mathcal {L}^{\prime }_{n/k})$ are generated in degrees $\le 3$ and the noncommutative scheme $\mathrm {Proj}_{nc}(Q_{n,k}(E,\tau ))$ has a closed subvariety that is isomorphic to $E^g$ or $S^gE$ , respectively. When $X_{n/k}=E^g$ and $\tau =0$ , the results about $B(X_{n/k},\sigma ',\mathcal {L}^{\prime }_{n/k})$ show that the morphism $\Phi _{|\mathcal {L}_{n/k}|}:E^g \to \mathbb {P}^{n-1}$ embeds $E^g$ as a projectively normal subvariety that is a scheme-theoretic intersection of quadric and cubic hypersurfaces.

AbstractIn their study of local models of Shimura varieties for totally ramified extensions, Pappas and Rapoport posed a conjecture about the reducedness of a certain subscheme of {n\times n} matrices. We give a positive answer to their conjecture in full generality. Our main ideas follow naturally from two of our previous works. The first is our proof of a conjecture of Kreiman, Lakshmibai, Magyar, and Weyman on the equations defining type A affine Grassmannians. The second is the work of the first two authors and Kamnitzer on affine Grassmannian slices and their reduced scheme structure. We also present a version of our argument that is almost completely elementary: the only non-elementary ingredient is the Frobenius splitting of Schubert varieties.
