Di era Internet of Things (IoT). Kata kunci: Internet of Things, Kondisi Lingkungan, Peternakan, Smart City, WSN. In the Internet of Things era (IoT). Everyone can access the data in anywhere and anytime. All stored data can be accessed using end devices such as smartphones, laptops and computers. One of the IoT technologies is a smart city for monitoring the environment. To be able to know the condition and quality of an environment, everyone does not need to wait for the announcement of information or come to the relevant agencies in the government. Utilization of IoT on Environmental Monitoring can be applied to the field of ranch. in this case it will be used for helping someone in knowing the quality of environmental conditions that will be used for. In this case it is how to find out which ranchs are suitable to be applied in the environment from the user that he want to construct cow or chicken ranch. Using wireless sensor networks (WSN) to retrieve values from these environmental conditions can help determine the condition and quality of the environment. IoT helps someone to open a business in field of ranchs that is suitable for region without having to do many survey. Only by using IoT, anyone can get suitable environmental quality data to open a ranch with environmental conditions that have been known before. Keywords: Environmental conditions, Internet of Things, Ranch, Smart City, WSN.

This research can be used to determine the quality and improvement of the electrical system in the Ketapang State Polytechnic rectorate building. Electrical interference can cause electrical equipment not working to the maximum which can cause permanent damage to the electrical equipment itself. The disturbance can be in the form of harmonic waves. Both of these electrical problems are very difficult for me to improve the quality of electric power. This research uses ETAP 16.00. Improvement efforts in the simulation is to use several filters that will be selected as the best filter that can reduce harmonic waves. Before using the filter the total harmonic distortion (THD) value reached 7.1% THD. After answering with several types of filters namely a single filter set, by-pass, and high-pass (not named) that can reduce harmonics to the maximum is a single filter set with a value of 2.63% THD which means the value is still in the range of THD value added which is a maximum of 5% THD.

There are two widely used “smart” concepts, often considered to be synonymous with one another - “smart city” and “smart specialisation”. The origin and initial meaning of each concept is different, although there are certain similarities. On the city level, multiple policy initiatives are oriented towards the concept of a “smart city”, which originally developed around the ICT infrastructure as a means to connect cities and thus provide opportunity for development. Recently the term “smart” has also found its way in regional policy. Therefore, it is necessary to interpret both concepts in a wider sense not limiting them only to meanings associated with technology. There is an empirical connection between smart specialisation development (in a wider sense) and introduction of smart cities (in a wider sense). But it does not mean that all regions (especially those with low manufacturing development index) should follow a strategy of research and development and/or hi-tech manufacturing. Smart development is a multi-dimensional concept, consisting of sustainable economic growth and sustainable city or regional development, based on the advantages of sustainable competition. It is also perceived as means to increase overall quality of life. This means that social and environmental capital also plays an important role together with infrastructural and ICT development.

Quality is a significant issue to consider when thinking about optimizing processes, improving the quality of services and products, increasing customer or client satisfaction, or just reducing costs that are related to waste or non-optimization in processes. E-environments and smart territories are not an exception, so, quality is a key success factor when considering and developing them. Quality has always been considered a part of the management system and processes in a company. Quality stands for the required perspective in the strategy of an enterprise and leads to accomplishing all quality requirements and goals previously defined in the company. There are several reasons why quality should be considered in an e-environment or a smart city.

Smart City is a new phenomenon of the ХХI-st century that reflects three latest world trends: a) an accelerating pace of urbanization; b) an active process of digitalization of economy and society; c) growing attention to the issues of sustainable urban development. All these trends intersect in the field of urban agglomeration. There are significant disagreement regarding the nature, substance and structure of «Smart City» concept. The difficulty in defining the concept of «Smart City» lies in the multidimensional nature of functions of the city itself that therefore requires a multidisciplinary approach to the analysis. The overview of the available scientific research shows that the concept of «Smart City» comprises four components: quality of life as a main goal; broad public participation in the development, monitoring and implementation of «Smart City» projects, sustainable urban development; widespread use of digital and other technologies in the economic, social and cultural spheres of city life. According to the authors currently there is much evidence to suggest that the modern concept of «Smart City» is being transformed into the concept of «Smart Sustainable City», when the emphasis is not only on information and communication technologies and human capital, but also on the achievement of the substantial development.
