New data on morphology and distribution of little known genus Groenendaelia Yakovlev, 2004 (Lepidoptera, Cossidae: Cossinae) with description of new tribe Groenendaelini Yakovlev, tribus n.

The article describes for the first time the female of Groenendaelia kinabaluensis (Gaede, 1933) (Lepidoptera, Cossidae: Cossinae), and provides photos of the male genitalia. The species is for the first time reported for the fauna of Laos. The map of the genus distribution is given. The tribe Groenendaelini Yakovlev, tribus n., including two genera, Groenendaelia Yakovlev, 2004 and Miacora Dyar, 1905, is described. The article has 8 illustrations.

A New Species

The Palaearctic species of the genus Trichardis Hermann, 1906 are reviewed. A new species, T. lehri sp. nov., is described. A new synonymy is established: T. leucocoma (van der Wulp, 1899) = T. afanasievae Lehr, 1964, syn. nov. The male of T. mongolica V. Richter, 1972 is described for the first time. External features and the male genitalia of T. lehri sp. nov., T. leucocoma (van der Wulp, 1899) and T. mongolica V. Richter, 1972 are illustrated with photographs.

The male of Cretaconiopteryx grandis Liu & Lu, 2017, which is the only representative species of the extinct dustywing subfamily Cretaconiopteryginae, is described for the first time from the Upper Cretaceous Burmese amber. The male genitalia, well preserved in the examined specimen, show a number of plesiomorphic characters, which support the sister group relationship between Coniopterygidae and the rest of extant lacewing families.

The family Tischeriidae is recorded from Madagascar for the first time. Coptotriche alavelona Lees and Stonis, sp. n., is described from high elevation tropical moist forest of Madagascar, and its proposed generic placement discussed. DNA of this species has been extracted and conserved for future phylogenetic or barcoding studies. The external features and male genitalia are figured and described. An updated checklist and a distribution map for all 13 Tischeriidae species currently recorded from the Afrotropics are provided.

This work presents a review of the Coleophoridae of Central and Eastern Africa. A lectotype is designated for Coleophora psychropa Meyrick, 1920, and the male genitalia of C. crossanthes Meyrick, 1938, are illustrated for the first time. Coleophora sabaea Baldizzone, 2007, previously known only from Yemen, is added to the African fauna. The genera Abaria Mosely 1948 and Drepanocentron Schmid 1982 are recorded in China for the first time. In this study, two new species, Abaria herringbona sp. nov., from Guang-xi, and Drepanocentron fuxiensis sp. nov., from An-hui, are described and illustrated. Male genitalia of these two new species is distinguishable from those of other Abaria and Drepanocentron species. In addition, Melanotrichia attia Malicky & Chantaramongkol 1992 is a new record for the Chinese caddisfly fauna.

The ten species of the genus Lateantenna Amsel, 1968 known from China are reviewed. Four new species are described: L. semicircularis sp. n. and L. zhejiangensis sp. n. from Zhejiang, L. lunata sp. n. from Yunnan and Hainan, and L. triangulata sp. n. from Yunnan. Lateantenna eurotella (Adamski, 2010) and L. ianella (Adamski, 2003) are newly recorded for China. The females of L. camelliae (Chen & Wu, 2013) and L. ianella (Adamski, 2003) are described for the first time. Photographs of adults and genitalia are provided. Based on male genitalia, a key to the species of Mainland China is provided. Two maps showing the distribution of these species are also included.
