This research was aimed to explore the implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) education at Primary and Secondary levels in Bangladesh. The education ministry has added ICT with the national curriculum in Bangladesh. So, goal of the research is i) How to ensure the best implementation of ICT in the education; ii) How to ensure the best use of ICT tools in the class rooms; iii) How to help teachers, students, parents and also all the relevant bodies to cope with the system. To face the challenges in the 21st century if a nation can not adapt the new technology the country can not move forward. Students are the future of a nation if the student stay blind from the new technology the country will lags behind. So, the modern ICT information-based population can play a great role in Bangladesh

The 21st Century has observed an increase transformation based on economy and social patterns. The challenging of education is now prepared for the future, not for the present. The changing environment of learning is related to competencies and skills rather than in particular subjects and theories. How to teach what is not present yet? Why education must be profoundly related to both Information and Communication Technology and human ethnic? This paper is dedicated to highlight some of these points, bringing some reflections regarding these topics about the relationship between Africa and Latin America, especially Brazil.

In this chapter, we introduce and outline four different 21st century technologies. The most important 21st century technology is ICT–information and communication technology. In many ways, it has come to be the backbone of society, and provides the infrastructure upon which other technologies can sit. It is extremely pervasive, rapidly increasing, and undoubtedly important. The future of ICT will see ever-increasing speed, reliability, interconnectivity and sophistication approaching that of the capabilities cyberspace offer.

In the last few decades, Information Technology has transformed the entire world into a village, known as Global Village, as proposed by Marshal McLuhan. ICT has increased its influence in every field like the education sector, defense sector, technology etc. In the 21st century, information and communication technology (ICT) has become an important and integral part of most educational organizations throughout the world.. The use of ICT in classroom teaching and learning processes has become indispensable as it gives teachers and learners the opportunity to operate, store, control and retrieve data in addition to promoting self-regulated and active learning. We are witnessing the emergence of an information and communication technology (ICT)-enabled platform capitalism in which traditional corporations are being displaced. Railing against traditional firms to rescue capitalism would, under these circumstances, seem like misdirected effort. The “working anarchies” (e.g. Uber, Wikipedia) and “pop-up firms” (e.g. Vizio) of this new world use “labor on demand.” Here too there is risk that platform owners exploit their power and become rapacious. Yet, ICT can enable platform capitalism to create community-based, locally controlled alternatives to corporations and states. Cooperatives and democratic software platforms (e.g. Linux) must be important business forms in the future.

AbstractInformation and communication technology (ICT) programs like Microsoft PowerPoint and Apple Keynote have become the norm for large university lecture classes, but their record in terms of student engagement and active learning is mixed at best. Here, the author presents the merits of a “populist” lecture style that takes full advantage of the variety of features available from the latest generation of ICT programs. Based on visual variety, audio and visual sound bites, and the incorporation of humor and pop-cultural references, this populist approach not only facilitates greater student attention and engagement with the class materials, but also offers unmatched opportunities for extending student learning beyond the confines of the large lecture hall.

Frog Virtual Learning Environment (Frog VLE) is one of the supporting learning applications utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in 21st-century science learning. This paper concept tries to look at various issues in using VLE Frog to carry out science learning activities. Some previous studies were analyzed in depth for this purpose. The results of the analysis show that Frog VLE has not been widely used to support teacher science learning. In fact, the VLE Frog needs to be given a serious support to add to the process of learning science in the future, the teacher must be given continuous and consistent training in the use of the Frog VLE in the process of learning science.

Improving the artifacts a knowledge worker uses and how he or she exercises his or her knowledge is part of being professional in a knowledge society. In a knowledge society there is a continuous structuring and re-structuring, construction and re-construction and learning and re-learning occurring due to implementing new information and communication technology. But many of these projects fail in spite of management spending large amounts of money on them. This paper creates an awareness of how an artefact, such as a new knowledge management system, becomes a driving force behind expanding the knowledge of an anesthesist and has implications for continuous learning among a group of employees at the anesthesia and intensive care unit. In addition, implementing new technology is an underestimated opportunity for learning. This paper suggests that a significant educational effort is taking place in society channelled through IT-projects, even if they fail.
