Delay is a prominent event mostly experienced at the airport by both airline and passengers. Globally delay is permitted at 15mins later than the scheduled time. Assessing the level of delay in the airport is a major criterion for measuring airport performance. Aircraft not adhering to schedule flight results in increased airport congestion, cancellation flight and flight delay. This study made use of primary data through well-structured questionnaires to obtain information from selected NAMA Staff at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA). Operational delay report for a month and Airlines flight were examined for two months under the MMA2 to know the deviation of scheduled flight time from actual flight time. Descriptive Analysis, Wilcoxon Rank test, Factor Analysis and Step Wise Regression were the statistical tools deployed for this research. Findings showed that on a monthly base, 63% of the domestic traffic flows are delayed. Some factors responsible for delay were considered: aircraft damage, bad weather, aircraft maintenance, VIP movement and fueling are the major factor responsible for delay of aircraft Movement.

This study aims to determine that there are still many events that are still require the liability from the commercial air transportation company, both from the carrier company and those who are related to the carrier, such as flight delays (flight delay) either caused by weather factors or internal factors from the carrier company, the occurrence of negligence from the transport officer which causes the loss of goods owned by passengers, or because of there is an event for which the reason is unknown so that the aircraft experiences interference during the flight, from the results of this research it can be seen that the carrier operating the aircraft is obliged to be responsible for losses against:a. passengers who died, disability or injury;b. lost or damaged of the cabin baggage;c. lost, destroyed, or damaged of the checked baggage;d. lost, destroyed, or damaged of the cargo;e. delay in air transportation; andf. losses suffered by third partiesas well as who are the parties involved, the requirements that must be fulfilled and how the rights and the obligations of the parties are fulfilled, as well as other provisions in its implementation if a passenger's goods are lost or damaged and provide a description of its protection. Keywords : Liability, Theft of Goods, Aircraft Passengers, Kualanamu International Airport.

Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport Makassar with its role as the entrance to eastern part of Indonesia, is the busiest airport currently. However, it may mean nothing if it is not facilitated with boarding lounge both for domestic and international departure. Boarding lounge is a place provided for passengers to wait before departure after they check ini. Due to the busy airport, potentials of flight delay experienced by the passengers while waiting in the boarding lounge should be anticipated. It may happen because of the congested passengers during peak hours. Nevertheles, after Conducting this research, results show that the utilization of the provided boarding lounge reaches 67% while the passenger perception towards the facilities is categorized very good. On the other hand, the calculation of the provided boarding lounge capacity show "fair" result. Generally, the avaibility as well as the good facility of the boarding lounge should be maintened.

Distributed joint congestion control and routing optimization has received a significant amount of attention recently. To date, however, most of the existing schemes follow a key idea called the back-pressure algorithm. Despite having many salient features, the first-order sub gradient nature of the back-pressure based schemes results in slow convergence and poor delay performance. To overcome these limitations, the present study was made as first attempt at developing a second-order joint congestion control and routing optimization framework that offers utility-optimality, queue-stability, fast convergence, and low delay.  Contributions in this project are three-fold. The present study propose a new second-order joint congestion control and routing framework based on a primal-dual interior-point approach and established utility-optimality and queue-stability of the proposed second-order method. The results of present study showed that how to implement the proposed second-order method in a distributed fashion.

Employees and employers are facing issues in work life balance. It has become a difficult domain now, because the work needs have increased due to an increase in work pressure and complexities in handling the technology. As there are drastic changes in the rules and regulations in the work scenario of the aviation industry, it makes work life balance of employees difficult and set more hurdles. Hence there are many distractions and imbalances in the life of women employees in the aviation industry working across all levels. This work pressure is creating high level of hurdles in maintaining a harmonious job and family life, especially for female aviation employees. Data is collected from 50 female crew members working at Cochin International Airport. The objective of this study is to analyze the work life balance of working females of Cochin International Airport and its influence on their personal and specialized lives. The result of the study shows that the management should frame certain policies which will help employees to have the balance among their personal and expert lives.
