Entrepreneurial resilience is a recent topic and is widespread in scientific research, especially when associated with periods of instability and crises. This chapter aims to analyze the relationship between the variables open-mindedness (OM), entrepreneurial resilience (ER), market turbulence (MT), and overall performance (OP) in SMEs located in the legal amazon. Data collection coincided with the pandemic of COVID-19, with 384 SME managers participating. The sample was analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results suggest mediation of the variable ER on the relationship between OM and OP, and moderation of the variable MT on OM and ER. The research's originality is attested by the model's empirical relationships, research context, and adverse scenario provided by the COVID-19 expansion. The practical implications indicate that managers should pay more attention to the variables investigated through the creation of new skills and competencies necessary for entrepreneurial activity in periods of economic crisis and market turbulence.

In this study we analyzed the relationship between social capital and future cooperation intention of owners of recreational farm areas in Taiwan, and explored whether cooperative performance plays a role as a mediating factor between social capital and future cooperation intention. We employed structural equation modeling for the research framework, and LISREL was used to analyze the model. The findings indicate that social capital is a crucial factor that affects future cooperation intention, and cooperative performance is a partial mediator between social capital and future cooperation intention. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed.

We examined the mediating role of work engagement in the relationship between psychological detachment and research performance using structural equation modeling and bootstrapping analysis. Participants comprised 923 teachers from 39 key universities in China, who completed measures of psychological detachment, research performance, and work engagement. The results indicated that psychological detachment was negatively associated with research performance, and that work engagement mediated this relationship. Our findings enrich understanding of the effects of psychological detachment on research performance. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed.

Over recent decades, much has been written about sustainable development and its main dimensions (environmental, social, and economic). However, to date, there is a lack of academic literature on the relationship between these dimensions of sustainability, as well as whether sustainability is moderated by an individual’s gender. To fill this gap in the literature, the aim of this study is two-fold: first, we want to empirically analyze whether there is a relationship between these dimensions and, if so, whether this relationship is positive; secondly, we aim to evaluate whether gender influences the link between these dimensions of sustainability. To this end, a sample of 411 responses was analyzed using the Using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) methodology. The results revealed that there is a positive relationship between the three dimensions of sustainability; however, the effect of gender was observed only in the case of the relationship between social and environmental sustainability. The paper concludes with a discussion of the results and an outline of their theoretical and practical implications for industry.

Abstract. Across two studies, we explored the relationship of propensity to trust – a general willingness to trust others ( Mayer, Davis, & Schoorman, 1995 ) – and suspicion propensity – a disposition toward being suspicious ( Calhoun et al., 2017 ) – to determine if the constructs are distinct and account for unique variance in relevant outcomes. We used exploratory structural equation modeling to investigate whether propensity to trust and suspicion propensity are separate constructs. Then, we investigated the unique predictive validity of each trait on criteria of interest. We found some evidence that propensity to trust and suspicion propensity are unique, yet related, constructs with unique predictive validity. Theoretical and practical implications, as well as limitations, of this research are discussed.

We examined the mediating role of serious leisure in the relationship between leisure functioning and happiness with data from 284 Korean campers, analyzed primarily using structural equation modeling. Results showed that the campers' leisure functioning had a positive effect on serious leisure, and serious leisure had a positive effect on happiness. Further, the leisure functioning of the campers had an indirect impact on their happiness through the mediator of serious leisure. The findings showed that serious leisure plays an important role in perceived happiness in the camping context. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between entrepreneurial strategy and resistance economy policy in Kerman Copper Company. The research is applied and descriptive. The statistical population consisted of 400 experts, supervisors and managers of Shahid Bahonar Copper Company in Kerman. Based on Morgan table, the sample size was 196 people. The standard questionnaire was used for data collection. The validity of the questionnaires was 0.93 and 0.91 respectively and the reliability of the questionnaires was higher than 0.7. Data were analyzed using SPSS software and structural equation modeling test by Amos software. The findings showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between entrepreneurial strategy and resistance economy policy in Kerman Copper Company. On this basis, it can be said that the promotion of entrepreneurial strategies will facilitate the implementation of the Resilience Policy.

This research aimed to determine the effect of the membership programs on customer loyalty of “Kartu Aku” users at Alfamart Sunan Kalijaga Street, Malang City by involving customer satisfaction as mediating variable. This research employed a quantitative approach with a sample of 161 respondents determined by the Slovin formula. Data collection methods used a questionnaire. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) PLS, and the mediation test used bootstrapping with help of SmartPLS 3.3.3 software. The result showed that variable membership program had a significant effect on variable customer loyalty with t-statistics value 15,027, variable membership program had a significant effect on variable customer satisfaction with t-statistics value 14,391, variable customer satisfaction had a significant effect on variable customer loyalty with t-statistic value 2,818 and variable customer satisfaction significantly mediated the relationship between variable membership program and variable customer loyalty with t-statistics value 2,772.

Employee engagement is a concept that is capable of predicting various employee outcomes. It could directly influence the success of any organization and its overall financial performance. The present study was undertaken to determine the relationship between Psychological and Social capitals and employee engagement. Data for the study was collected randomly from 395 respondents. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the collected data. The data was found to be powerfully fitting, with all the indices having values above the thump's identified rules. The results indicated positive relationships between the constructs. The results of the study have multiple theoretical and practical implications.

The major purpose ofthis study was to examine the relationship of strategy and structure. Porter s(/980) strategic typology was utilized to classify hotel firms by strategic orientation; and, an analysis of variance was performed to determine the differences in their performance. Structural Equation Modeling was used to confirm the factors underlying the strategy and structure constructs.

This study aims to investigate destination brand prestige, and to explore the mediating effects of destination brand worldness between destination brand prestige and intention to revisit. Research is designed to collect primary data from the Taiwanese tourists. Partial least squares structural equation modeling is used to test the effects. The research model is appropriately implemented in Smart PLS 3 and a full mediation has existed through the empirical findings. The study shows how destination brand worldness mediates the relationship between destination brand prestige and intention to revisit.
