This invited commentary discusses the research paper on Assistive Computing Technology for Enabling Differently Abled Population in India - A User Driven Intervention by Indrajit Bhattacharya, Anandhi Ramachandran, Nekram Upadhyay and Megha Sharma. The author expands the significance of the role of Assistive Computing Technology in enhancing the quality of life of the people with disabilities. The author lauds the research work and conclusions drawn from it and suggests how its applicability can be increased in the system.

The subject of this research is the analysis of the impact of social capital upon the quality of life. The author reveals the theoretical-methodological approaches of foreign and Russian scholars towards the concept of social capital and its components. In the course of research, it was established that personal social capital affects the quality of life of the Russian residents, outlines the circle of their interests and values, as well as provides real opportunities for the fulfillment of personal interests and needs. This article leans on the empirical data that was obtained as a result of a questionnaire-based survey conducted in 2019 and involved 1,803 people from 22 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The main conclusion of this research consists in the statement that personal social capital, namely such its components as financial security and social connections, affect the quality of life of the people, to a certain extent form the range of their interests and values, as well as provide real opportunities for the fulfillment of personal interests and needs.

<p class="AbstrakAGC"><strong>Purpose - </strong> This study aims to investigate the optimization of the role of religious instructors in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.</p><p class="AbstrakAGC"><strong>Method -</strong> This research is a type of library research, namely, by recording all findings and integrating all findings, both theories and new findings about the religious extension, analyzing all findings from various reading and providing critical ideas about optimizing the role of religious instructors in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.</p><p class="AbstrakAGC"><strong>Result</strong> - The results of the study show that various issues in all sectors emerged as a result of the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is necessary to optimize the role of religious instructors who play a very strategic role in the framework of mental, moral, and value development devotion of the people and also contribute to improving the quality of life of the people in various fields both in the field of religion and development amid COVID-19 pandemic by carrying out informative and educative functions, consultative functions, and advocacy functions.</p><p class="AbstrakAGC"><strong>Implications -</strong> To optimize the role, several things need to be done by religious instructors.</p><p><strong>Originality - </strong>The framework of mental development with optimization of religious extension role in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic.</p>
