Cloud computing is Internet-based computing, whereby shared resources, software, and information to computers and other devices on demand. Besides the benefits, it provides a new environment and convenience for network crime, which results difficulties and challenges for forensic investigation. This paper reviews the conception of cloud computing and identifies some key issues of network crime. After analyzing the mechanism and architecture of cloud computing, we propose a forensic model to obtain and fix the criminal evidences. Through investigating from cloud and client aspects, we collect relative log files and communicated data packages, which can succeed to monitor network and store original crime behaviors.

The basic concept of cloud computing is based on “Pay per Use”. The user can use the remote resources on demand for computing on payment basis. The on-demand resources of the user are provided according to a Service Level Agreement (SLA). In real time, the tasks are associated with a time constraint for which they are called deadline based tasks. The huge number of deadline based task coming to a cloud datacenter should be scheduled. The scheduling of this task with an efficient algorithm provides better resource utilization without violating SLA. In this chapter, we discussed the backfilling algorithm and its different types. Moreover, the backfilling algorithm was proposed for scheduling tasks in parallel. Whenever the application environment is changed the performance of the backfilling algorithm is changed. The chapter aims implementation of different types of backfilling algorithms. Finally, the reader can be able to get some idea about the different backfilling scheduling algorithms that are used for scheduling deadline based task in cloud computing environment at the end.

Cloud computing is a system, where the resources of a data center are shared using virtualization technology, such that it provides elastic, on demand and instant services to its customers and charges them based on the resources they use. In this chapter, we will discuss recent developments in cloud computing, various security issues and challenges associated with Cloud computing environment, various existing solutions provided for dealing with these security threats and will provide a comparative analysis these approaches. This will provide better understanding of the various security problems associated with the cloud, current solution space, and future research scope to deal with such attacks in better way.

With the increasingly fast-paced software releasing or updating, research on the method of an efficient software automation testing framework based on cloud computing has become particularly important. In this paper, we propose an automation testing framework over cloud. We also describe some key technologies in the aspect of the design of hierarchical test case and automatic distribution of test cases in the cloud computing environment. Testing experiments show that our framework can take advantage of on-demand testing resources in the cloud to improve the efficiency of automation testing.

Cloud computing is the latest distributed technology providing a rich environment of dynamically shared resources through virtualization, which can fulfill the requirements of users by allocating resources to programs. Any program in a cloud environment is delivered by workflows which are a series of interlinked tasks to accomplish a goal. One of the most important tasks in cloud computing is correct mapping of tasks onto resources. It is essential to schedule processes in distributed systems such as cloud, since it leaves a tremendous impact on the system performance. This is done by scheduling algorithms. Therefore, it is crucial to present and adopt an efficient algorithm in the cloud environment. This article attempted to examine the parameters effective in the efficiency of scheduling algorithms including deadline, cost constraint, balanced loading, power consumption and fault tolerance. Additionally, the performances of several algorithms were briefly discussed.

Cloud Computing has changed the strategy of the way of providing different services to business and government agent as well as to sole users. Cloud Computing provides scalable and on demand services to users irrespective of their physical area. But this computing technology has many challenges. One of them is on demand resource allocation. In this paper a resource allocation method is proposed based on Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) called Multicriteria Preference Synthesis (MPS) method. MPS method combines many AHP synthesis methods (Additive Normalization, EigenVector, Multicriteria Synthesis etc.) to assign the priorities to the users' tasks. In MPS method Error Criteria is used to provide the consistency in providing the priorities to users' tasks if any violation is there.

Cloud computing is a type of parallel and distributed system consisting of a collection of interconnected and virtual computers. This technological trend has enabled the realization of a new computing model called cloud computing, in which shared resources, information, software & other devices are provided according to client requirement at specific time, are provided as general utilities that can be leased and released by users through the Internet in an on-demand fashion.Cloud workflow scheduling is an NP-hard optimization problem, and many meta-heuristic algorithms have been proposed to solve it.Allocation of resources to a large number of workflows in a cloud computing environment presents more difficulty than in network computational environments.A good task scheduler should adapt its scheduling strategy to the changing environment and the types of tasks. In this work, modified ant colony optimization for cloud task scheduling is proposed. The goal of modification is to enhance the performance of the basic ant colony optimization algorithm and optimize the task execution time in view of minimizing the makespan of a given tasks set.

Cloud communication technology is Internet-based computing, where shared resources, software, information, are provided to computers and devices on-demand. They guarantee a way to share distributed resources and services that belong to different organizations through virtualization technology. Cloud has announced a modern idea by deploying one application which offers variety and a lot of services to a number of cloud-users at the same time, however, it suffers from scheduling and workload problems. This paper proposed a cloud computing task scheduling algorithm based on greedy algorithm and Antlion Optimizer algorithm. The main goal of this algorithm is to reduce the make-span and the total cost of the tasks and execution time. This paper suggested the objective share-search function of the make-span and costs of the tasks in order to improve the initialization of the pheromone, the greedy algorithm and the pheromone update method in the antlion algorithm. Also, this context illustrates the analytical study between almost used scheduling algorithms and the proposed algorithm. Theoretically, the proposed algorithm provides a more flexible and guarantee a solution to solve the problem of task scheduling in the cloud computing environment.

Cloud Computing refers to various services that are accessible through the Internet. These essential sources encompass servers, databases, storage, analytics, software, and different applications. Mobile cloud computing (MCC) is the availability of cloud computing offerings in a cell environment. Mobile Cloud Computing at its simplest refers to an infrastructure where both the storage and therefore, the processing of information happens outside the mobile device. Users can remotely store their data also enjoy high-quality on-demand cloud applications without the restrictions of getting to get and maintain your local hardware and software. Despite the surprising advancement achieved by MCC, the clients of MCC remains below expectations. Thanks to the related risks regarding security and confidentiality. The more and more information is placed onto the cloud by the individuals and enterprises, the more the safety issue begins to grow. This paper gives a summary of the cloud computing concept followed by an outline of mobile cloud computing, and therefore, the different security issues pertinent to the mobile cloud computing environment.
