В работе предлагается новый класс программного обеспечения -информационно-картографические системы, предназначенные для построения и анализа информационных карт. Рассмотрены возможные архитектуры таких систем, отличающиеся организацией подсистем сбора, хранения, анализа и представления исходных данных. The paper proposes a new class of software - information mapping systems designed for the construction and analysis of information maps. The possible architectures of such systems, differing by the organization of subsystems of collection, storage, analysis and presentation of the initial data are considered.

Abstract Groundwater has remained indispensable in Enugu state Nigeria owing to industrialization, lack of surface water, and significant depth to aquifer in the area. A geophysical investigation involving vertical electrical soundings was conducted in order to evaluate groundwater potential at some locations in the Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State. With the aid of resistivity instrument ABEM Terrameter, four (4) Vertical Electrical Sounding using Schlumberger configuration were conducted, and the data acquired was interpreted using WINRESIST software. Information obtains from the survey shows that the underlying geological formation in those areas has between 5 – 7 layers. The apparent resistivity obtained in all the layers of the locations ranges from 47.1 – 6956.8 Ωm, while the aquifer was interpreted to exist at a depth between 90 – 120m. Result obtained from this geophysical investigation has shown that the survey area possesses a good groundwater potential which will go a long way in cushioning the effect associated with water scarcity in the area if exploited.

Introduction: This study aimed to analyse several factors that influence the decision-making of primary care physicians in Iceland in their choice of drug therapy for their patients. Also, to find which factors can act as a hindrance in making the best choices. Finally, to analyse which elements could be most important in facilitating decisions. Material and methods: A questionnaire was sent by e-mail to physicians working in primary care in Iceland. The questionnaire comprised closed questions, open text boxes, and ranking questions. The data was processed and analysed using Microsoft Excel. Results: The total number of primary care physicians who responded to the questionnaire was 93, a response rate of 40.7% of all the primary care physicians. The results reveal that physicians working in primary care consider clinical guidelines, the Icelandic National Formulary, and personal experience to be the most important factors when choosing a medication. Primary care physicians strongly agree that the lack of drug interaction software connected to medical records is a shortcoming. The most important factors that need improvement to facilitate primary care physicians' decision-making are drug formularies and interaction software. Conclusion: The results suggest some factors that support physicians in primary care in making decisions when choosing drug therapy, such as a drug formulary, drug interaction software, information about patients’ drug therapy, variable length in face-to-face consultations, evidence based information on new drugs, and counselling provided by clinical pharmacists.

This article discusses the use of innovative technologies and their potential to assist pan-India surveillance systems, including health  initiatives. The key goal is to review prior studies on innovative technology and its use for existing healthcare sectors and identify association strength among the selected variables using Vos Viewer software. Information gathered from research on randomized controlled trials, cross-sectional studies, review studies and systematic review studies, meta-analysis, sample, and case series. This article discusses the use of innovative technologies and their potential to assist pan-India surveillance systems, including health  initiatives to community based healthcare. This paper discusses the current usage of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT) on health and developments.   The findings of the study state the complexities and opportunities of the mentioned technologies on the pan-India health surveillance system and indicates that data management, safety and security regulation gaps need to resolve before enforcing monitoring practices. This paper presents an analysis of recent instances of using IoT technologies centred on remote surveillance and indicate a need for an advanced computing architecture for future integrated with pilot and tracking operations.

Monochamus alternatus Hope (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) is an important trunk borer of pine trees and a major vector of pine wilt disease. Although chemicals are widely used in forest pest control, new strategies based on insect biology are offering promising approaches to manage the disease. Although there have been important research advances in this respect, there has not yet been a deep sequence analysis of M. alternatus describing the transcriptome, and no information is available about the gene function of this insect vector. We used next generation sequencing technology to provide a full transcriptome from the four larval instars of M. alternatus and successfully built an M. alternatus transcriptome database. In total, 67,456 unigenes were obtained with trinity software, information for 11,858 classified unigenes was obtained with the Clusters of Orthologous Groups (COGs) database, and 13,007 unigenes matched predicted pathways using the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG). In addition, genes related to lignocellulose, and putative Bt receptors and genes related to digestion are described. Additionally, the differential gene expression of these genes in different larval stages was analyzed. This study provides valuable information to underpin the development of new molecular tools for M. alternatus control strategies.

Abstract Objectives The Quebec Public Health Institute (INSPQ) was mandated to develop an automated tool for detecting space-time COVID-19 case clusters to assist regional public health authorities in identifying situations that require public health interventions. This article aims to describe the methodology used and to document the main outcomes achieved. Methods New COVID-19 cases are supplied by the “Trajectoire de santé publique” information system, geolocated to civic addresses and then aggregated by day and dissemination area. To target community-level clusters, cases identified as residents of congregate living settings are excluded from the cluster detection analysis. Detection is performed using the space-time scan statistic and Poisson statistical model, and implemented in the SaTScan software. Information on detected clusters is disseminated daily via an online interactive mapping interface. Results The number of clusters detected tracked with the number of new cases. Slightly more than 4900 statistically significant (p ≤ 0.01) space-time clusters were detected over 14 health regions from May to October 2020. The Montréal region was the most affected. Conclusion Considering the objective of timely cluster detection, the use of near-real-time health surveillance data of varying quality over time and by region constitutes an acceptable compromise between timeliness and data quality. This tool serves to supplement the epidemiologic investigations carried out by regional public health authorities for purposes of COVID-19 management and prevention.

The statistics about cyber crime tell that as of 2021 January, google has registered around 2 million phishing websites. In 2019 around 93.6% of observed malware was polymorphic, which means it changes the code continuously to evade detection. According to FBI and internet crime complaint center 2020crime report has doubled compared to 2019. International Data Corporation predicts that global spending on cybersecurity solutions will reach $133.7 billion by 2022 as cyber threats continue to increase. Governments around the world have acknowledged to growing cyber-attacks by providing directions to organizations implementing efficient cybersecurity practices. Cybersecurity protects computer systems and networks from creating damage to hardware and software, information disclosure, theft and from the interference or misdirection of the services they provide. The need to understand different kinds of cybercrime. In order to develop necessary measures against cybercrime, we need to understand different kinds of cybercrime. Our paper gives you an overview of various types of cyber-crime like malware, phishing, zero-day exploit, Advanced Persistent Threat (APT). The study provides an overview to different preventive existing solutions proposal and methods to detect attack. A strong understanding of such attacks would benefit us to be cautious and develop effective solutions.
