In the promotion of global economic integration, Chinese enterprises began to enter the international engineering contracting market. As risk factors are more complex in international environment, risk management has become an important research topic at the moment. FMEA, shorted for Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, is applied to study the failure modes for each part of the product and to control risk in the first line of defense. Taking advantage of the idea of FMEA, contractors have to identify all the risk in international engineering and build a multi-level structure. On the basis of analytic hierarchy process, we calculate the risk relative importance and harm degree by analysis and assessment. Then take effective measures to avoid risk. With the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, we try to form a risk management system for international project.

The double development of urbanization and motorization has made the traffic demand of our country grow rapidly and diversified. the improvement of urban traffic has become an important condition for the sustainable development of the city. Based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), this paper establishes the evaluation index system of urban traffic improvement by comparing the importance of indexing by experts. It is found that improvement of road network, optimization of public traffic and improvement of intersection are the most important in urban traffic improvement. the intersection of the most important level of service. By using qualitative and quantitative methods, the Likert scale was used to classify the results and the four-quadrant method was used to analyze the urban traffic improvement evaluation index system.

Taking Xining City as the research area, the index system of coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment in Xining City is constructed by combining qualitative and quantitative methods. The index and comprehensive index scores are obtained by using analytic hierarchy process and weighted summation method, and the coordination degree between urbanization and ecological environment in Xining City whose evolution trend is evaluated and analyzed is quantified by combining the coordination degree model. The results show that the urbanization level of Xining has been on the rise in the past 10 years from 2008 to 2017, and after the urbanization level of Xining has been improved, the eco-environmental quality index, although which has a characteristics of fluctuation, has been also on the rise as a whole. From the analysis of coordination degree, the coordination degree showed a downward trend year by year from 2008 to 2012, in which the coordination value in 2010, 2011 and 2012 were below 0.4, showing a moderate imbalance state; from 2013 to 2017, the coordination degree showed a rising trend year by year, and showed a relatively stable state.

The report deals with projects risk management approaches and methods. The methods are based upon the main provisions of the following standards: International Competence Baseline, published by International Project Management Association – IPMA and National Competence Baseline published by Russian Project Management Association – SOVNET. It is known two types of risk management methods: qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative methods deal with procedures that reduce the risk of risk situations and the quantitative methods allow to produce quantitative estimates of the proposed activities using SOVNET system methodology.

Information security has become one of the most important responsibilities of all organizations due to increasing cyber threats. Attackers take advantage of systems vulnerabilities; therefore, system administrators should be aware of potential threats to take necessary actions to protect their organizations and stakeholders. At this point, a risk assessment is needed to discover possible threats for vulnerable systems of the organization and to implement strategies for the business goals. This study proposes a hybrid risk management framework using both qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze risk within organizations and reduce them with practical countermeasures. Based on this framework, case studies have been carried out considering three hypothetical companies identifying possible information security risks, and these risks have been reduced to an acceptable level by applying the proposed risk analysis methodology.

The SMK STIKES Rajawali Bandung project is a unique project because it has a steep terrain location that creates various risks, so a risk analysis is needed. The identification in this study was 32 risks. This research uses qualitative and quantitative methods with the stages of identifying possible risks, assessing risks, knowing the causes, and ways of dealing with dominant risks if they occur. The results of the study of the 32 risks consisted of 3 very high risks, 2 high risks, 23 medium risks and 4 low risks. The biggest risk comes from the external risk that can be detected, namely the risk of rain with a score of 20. Therefore, the risk of rain requires ideal treatment using a dewatering pump.

Abstract: The key to success in management activities is the ability to make the best decision on the path to achieve the set goals. Decision makers can make scientific and more successful decisions by using Multi-criteria decision making techniques to overcome such problems. However, decision making becomes more difficult especially in the industry which has a very complex structure like tourism and hospitality. The main purpose this paper is to identify an alternative type of tourism that will serve the optimal advantages of the tourist destinations’ stakeholders. Cappadocia destination is considered within the scope of the study. Decision making at destination level is risky to decide for a tourism destination for many reasons such as high investment costs, long term results, high diversity of stakeholders, and diversity of decision makers and conflicts of interests. In this study, qualitative and quantitative methods were used as mixed via QFD and AHP. As a result of examining different criteria and alternatives in line with the opinions of different stakeholders, congress tourism option has emerged as the most suitable tourism product alternative. As a result, different alternatives sorted by importance and the question of where to start the work in accordance with the possibilities has been tried to be answered. In this context, it has been a guiding study for the practitioners who have decision-making difficulties. Since no similar study has been found, it is an inspiration for future studies. Keywords: Tourism Product. Alternative Tourism. Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Decision Making in Tourism.
