On the basis of the computerized technological process control of sewage treatment in a urban sewage treatment plant in the Zone of Nanning, the author had brought forward a plan of PROFIBUS that based on automatic control system for sewage treatment, and designed the automatic control system diagram and the PROFIBUS network diagram for sewage treatment plant. At the same time, the author also made a study of techniques to control the sewage aeration, which was the most difficult problem in sewage treatment process. The fuzzy controller could indicate the changes of the water quality in treated sewage, effectively controlled the volume of aeration and then cut down the operation costs,it had produced good economic and social benefits.

Changes of microbial indices of water quality in the Vistula and Brda rivers as a result of sewage treatment plant operationThis paper reports the results of studies of microbiological changes in the water quality of the Vistula and Brda rivers after the opening of sewage treatment plants in Bydgoszcz. The study involved determining the microbiological parameters of water quality. Based on the results obtained, it was found that the quality of the water in both rivers had improved decidedly after the opening of the plants, although an increased number of individual groups of microorganisms was found at the treated sewage outlet from one of the plants.

The flocculating process of sewage treatment is a complicated and nonlinear system, and it is very difficult to found the process model to describe it. The radial basis probabilistic neural network (RBPNN) has the ability of strong function approach and fast convergence. In this paper, an intelligent optimized control system based on radial basis probabilistic neural network is presented. We constructed the structure of radial basis probabilistic neural network that used for controlling the flocculation process, and adopt the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm and least square method to train the network. We given the architecture of control system and analyzed the working process of system. In this system, the parameters of flocculation process were measured using sensors, and then the control system can control the flocculation process real-time. The system was used in the sewage treatment plant. The experimental results prove that this system is feasible.

The article is devoted to solving the problem of analysis and synthesis of a control system with a fuzzy controller by the phase plane method. The nonlinear transformation, built according to the Sugeno fuzzy model, is approximated by a piecewise linear characteristic consisting of three sections: two piecewise linear and one piecewise constant. This approach allows us to restrict ourselves to three sheets of phase trajectories, each of which is constructed on the basis of a second-order differential equation. Taking this feature into account, the technique of "stitching" of three sheets of phase trajectories is considered and an analytical base is obtained that allows one to determine the conditions for "stitching" of phase trajectories for various variants of piecewise-linear approximation of the characteristics of a fuzzy controller. In view of the specificity of the approximated model of the fuzzy controller used, useful analytical relations are given, with the help of which it is possible to calculate the time of motion of the representing point for each section with the involvement of the numerical optimization apparatus. For a variant of the approximation of three sections, a technique for synthesizing a fuzzy controller is proposed, according to which the range of parameters and the range of input signals are determined, at which an aperiodic process and a given control time are provided. On the model of the automatic control system of the drive level of the mechatronic module, it is shown that the study of a fuzzy system by such an approximated characteristic of a fuzzy controller gives quite reliable results. The conducted studies of the influence of the degree of approximation on the quality of control show that the approximated characteristic of a fuzzy controller gives a slight deterioration in quality in comparison with the smooth characteristic of a fuzzy controller. Since the capabilities of the phase plane method are limited to the 2nd order of the linear part of the automatic control system, the influence of the third order on the dynamics of the system is considered using the example of a mechatronic module drive. It is shown that taking into account the electric time constant leads to overshoot within 5-10 %. Such overshoot can be eliminated due to the proposed recommendations for correcting the static characteristic of the fuzzy controller.

The plasmid contents of 306 strains of Escherichia coli isolated from raw and treated sewage from a treatment plant as well as from the water 1 km downstream were determined. The number and molecular weight of plasmids isolated from a representative sample of these strains were also measured. It was observed that biological treatment did not significantly alter these parameters. In contrast, statistically significant differences in plasmid number and size were observed when strains from sewage (raw and treated) were compared with strains isolated from brackish water. In raw and treated sewage, more than 96% of the strains contained plasmids, compared with 85% in brackish water. Nine to 13% of the strains from sewage contained plasmids with more than 56 kilobases, while only 5% of the strains from brackish water reached this size.Key words: Escherichia coli, plasmids, two-dimensional electrophoresis, sewage treatment, brackish water.

Sewage pumping station is pumping station import at the sewage treatment plant. Its role is to collect the wastewater from the sewage pipe network to subsequent wastewater treatment process facilities. The water level is usually low in sewage collection pipe network. And many wastewater treatment facilities is based on elevation settings. So it is necessary to use lift pump to improve lift of the collected sewage, using high gravity sewage errands subsequent process in order to reduce energy consumption. The traditional way of pumping generally has the shortcomings: the waste of power resources, low efficiency, poor reliability, low degree of automation, which seriously affects the urban sewage treatment capacity. This paper, views pump station control system at the sewage treatment plant as the background, researches frequency control constant pressure control system based on PLC, realizes the energy efficient, automated and reliable direction of development of the sewage pumping station.
