Due to the characteristic of ordinal consistency in the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) difficult to meet, the method combined AHP and the theory of fuzzy mathematics is introduced, the idea of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process is introduced innovatively. The failure mode and the main factor of failure induced during construction of bridge engineering are identified. The method can exert the brain advantage of evaluation, and simplify the computation process.

Based on actual measurement data in Da Ping as the samples, according to the experience, and ends with calculate every factors weight and height prediction of the water conducted zone by Matlab using the combination entropy-weight method and analytic hierarchy process. this paper introduces a comprehensive prediction model consisting of analytic hierarchy process and combination entropy-weight method. The method, overcoming weights imbalance, gives the evaluation result better than does the single analytic hierarchy process, it is a new valid method for scientific forecast on water conducted zone.

It is found that the traditional BDA methods are not appropriate the system target BDA. A new method of the system target BDA is proposed in this paper. Firstly, based on Hierarchy Analysis Method (AHP), the system target function index system is set up. Secondly, the step of system target function damage assessment method is analyzed and proposed based on Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP). Finally, an example of air base damage assessment is given to verify the validity and availability of the proposed method.

There are only a few scientific sources in domestic and foreign citation databases where the methodical aspects on the topic of delegation of authority and responsibility in the organization at the average and higher levels have been elaborated. Today there is a need for further development of the delegation methods in economic and management science. The decisions made on delegation should have practical applicability, efficiency, possibility of integration with information technologies and mathematical methods, availability of a clear algorithm, the ability to confi rm or disprove the need for delegation by a set of different methods, the ability to assess the effect (effectiveness) of decisions. A methodology for delegating authority and responsibility in an organization based on the hierarchy analysis method that meets these requirements is proposed. The paper presents the results of the methodology approbation in a large commercial networks of one of the Russian megacity. Two problem situations of the network which required effective management decisions through the delegation of authority and responsibility were studied with the help of the developed logical algorithm. Th e analytic hierarchy process based method was used to implement delegation process by means of the Mpriority computer program. The results of delegation led to positive changes in performance indicators. The first situation showed a signifi cant reduction in the indicators of delayed orders and complaints, conflicts with customers, expressed in monetary terms. The second situation showed the increase in the customer base and profit growth. After solving both problems, the users of the method confi rmed its relevance.

Nanotechnologists are in great demand and this need is becoming more and more acute every year since nanomaterials have gained widespread acceptance in various industries. The specificity of nanotechnology is determined by a wide variety of existing nanomaterials and technologies for their synthesis. The study suggests an efficient technique for training prospective nanoengineers to make managerial decisions in the synthesis of nanostructures. Moreover, the article demonstrates that using T. Saati's hierarchy analysis method offers the optimum solution for obtaining nanostructures. The analysis is based on the most commonly used synthesis technologies such as chemical etching, photoelectrochemical etching and imprint lithography. The application of T. Saati's method allows prospective nanoengineers to optimize the synthesis of high-quality nanostructures as well as ensure an economic and competitive advantage and reduce the number of errors.

This paper mechanically applies the thought of recursive hierarchical structure in analytic hierarchy process, by means of fuzzy mathematics, with the investigation, analysis, induction, the fuzzy relation matrix has been found, at the same time, the assignment weight of index is merged into that. Then the integrated condition assessment results of bridge are gained finally. This method greatly reduces the happening of ill-considering the influencing factors, make the results more real, specific and comprehensive, avoid effectively great loss which is caused by the defects of safety and service performance.

Dam is an important part of the national infrastructure, and its safety has been widely concerned. Risk identification of dams plays a significant role in risk assessment and control. Finding out some critical failure paths through adopting timely measures can help reduce the risk occurrence probability effectively. This paper develops an identification method based on the credibility and the interval analytic hierarchy process (IAHP) methods, namely, consistency and difference-based interval analytic hierarchy process (CDB-IAHP) method, to identify the critical failure paths of dams exactly considering the dynamic cognition degree of decision-makers. Based on the fault tree analysis (FTA) method, the framework and analysis for critical failure paths identification of a gravity dam and an Earth-rockfill dam are conducted and made. The results show that the critical failure paths obtained by the proposed method are in line with the statistical data, and the importance of disaster causing factors has some difference with the traditional method. Additionally, some engineering and nonengineering measures are suggested to reduce the impact of potential failure paths. The applications demonstrate that the proposed method shows good applicability for risk analysis and critical failure path mining of dams.
