In order to compound high performance asphalt UV absorption anti-aging agent, light screener, antioxidant, light stabilizer were used in experiment, ultraviolet rays aging equation of asphalt was established, was used to stand for final aging quantity of asphalt pavement, aging equation and were used to research the performance of UV absorption anti-aging agent in different compound mode, optimum composite system of asphalt composite UV absorption anti-aging agent was found, and compliance dosage of components in optimum composite system was research after then. The results of the study show that: The aging law of asphalt ultraviolet radiation aging follows the equation next, ; asphalt UV absorption anti-aging agent composed by 5% antioxidant and 1.5% light stabilizer have the best anti-aging performance to UV radiation.

Brown algae phenolic compounds (PC) are secondary metabolites that participate in many biological processes, such as ultraviolet radiation (UV) protection, polyspermy blocking and trace metals bounding. Recently, PC has also been studied due to possible interactions with cell wall polysaccharides. However, there are few evidences of these interactions and their influence in physiological processes. The interactions between PC from the brown alga Padina gymnospora and alginates and the influence of these interactions on the UV absorption properties of PC were investigated in this work. Chromatography and spectrophotometry techniques were used to isolate, characterize and determine UV absorption capacity of studied compounds. Even after the P. gymnospora polysaccharide extraction and isolating methods, the PC was maintained linked to the alginate. The interaction of alginates with PC did not cause modifications on absorbance pattern of electromagnetic spectrum (UV-VIS-IR). The UV absorbance capability of PC linked to alginate was maintained for a longer period of time if compared with the purified PC. The obtained results reveal the strong linkage between PC and alginates and that these linkages preserve the UV absorption capability of PC along time.

The textile protection of human skin against ultraviolet radiation is very important problem and over recent years researches have shown increasing interests in this area. This research work deals with the causing harm effects of ultraviolet rays and protection against them through the woven materials by using Opuntia littoralis herbal extract and Chitosan biopolymer extract with nano encapsulation method. Finishing of fabric with an eco friendly manner is getting very advanced nowadays. So, this research work is fully based on ecofriendly and skin friendly. The samples were imparted with herb and biopolymer nanocapsules which showed best results for ultraviolet protection even after 30 washes. The finished sample was analyzed for its morphology using FESEM and FT-IR.
