It discusses two simplified elevator bearing beam models that describe the design installation way usually and the on-site installation way respectively for the elevator’s traction machine. Taking a real 12-ton traction elevator as an example, it analyzed the load force on the bearing beam, and also used finite element analysis software ANSYS12.0 to calculate their stress situation of two simplified models. Then it compares the bearing beam strength and stiffness influences based on two different fixed ways. Finally, it suggested a conductive advice to make more reasonable choice to install the bearing beam for elevator safety.

In this paper, iron ladle stress and deformation has been accurately calculated using finite element analysis software ANSYS based on 260t iron ladle in standing, lifting, tipping working conditions. Distribution of stress field was obtained. The stiffness and strength of the iron ladle has been evaluated. The results show that the iron ladle in the standing, lifting and tipping working conditions, structural deformation is small, the strength and stiffness meet the requirements. This research extends the working life of 260t iron ladle. It provides theoretical basis for producing and using of the iron ladle and further optimal designing.

With ANSYS finite element analysis software, finite element method is used to analyze the steel corrugated plate boarding bridge. Stress and deformation of the structure are obtained, and strength and stiffness are checked. Improvements are made on this basis to meet the design requirements.

With ANSYS finite element analysis software, finite element method was used to analyze the flexible Ferris wheel in this paper. By obtaining stress and deformation of the structure strength and stiffness was calculated and assessed. Improvements were made on this basis to meet the design requirements. With stability and dynamic analysis structure has good global stability and the frequency spectrum of structure is dense and even distribution. The analysis procedure and results indicated in this paper can be used as a reference for the analysis and design of similar projects.

Drilling frame on TD165CH Down-The-Hole Drill that has large slenderness ratio and be longer than 10m is one component of Down-The-Hole drill which is mainly subjected to load.In the process of drilling, drilling frame is not only subjected to loads which are like tensile, compression and torsion and so on, and be under the influence of impacting and vibration of impactor,the situation of force is complicated.By analysing of working condition of Down-The-Hole drill,there get all kinds of limit states of typical working conditions, and then using Ansys doing finite element analysis, there get distribution of the stress and strain of drilling frame and the result of modal analysis to check whether drilling frame meets the requirements of strength and stiffness or not,and whether it is possible to resonate with the impactor or not.By analysis,Structure strength and stiffness of drilling Frame on TD165CH Down-The-Hole drill meet the requirements of practical engineering, and drilling Frame does not resonate with the impactor.

According to uncertainty of the design parameters for large span truss of installing wave-maker, in order to avoid the waste of materials,the truss is analyzed based on the finite element analysis software ANSYS to find out its weaknesses and various parts of the deformation. On the premise of ensuring the intensity and stiffness, the weight of the truss is reduced by adjusting its sizes and selecting different profiles, so as to achieve the optimization of the truss of installing wave-maker.

Space grid structure of modern large span structure engineering in the most commonly used structure form. This paper used ANSYS network space truss finite element analysis, discuss the element type, and the selection of material models, and the definition of the limit stress, when necessary, even considering the bar buckling state ( buckling ). Under various load (permanent loads, wind loads, seismic loads, under the action of gravity ), using the powerful finite element analysis software ANSYS on the structure static analysis, after the use of ANSYS powerful optimization design function, the structure safety, the bar section optimization design, and then on the basis of the existing rod a cross section, a reasonable choice of bar section, reduce the material consumption, to achieve the best economic, reasonable design, implementation can develop continuously, make the satisfactory design.

Using domestic MFSP membrane as a medium of energy conversion, a kind of MFSP actuator was designed. The dedicated test equipment was constructed for experimental research, and the experimental results were given. The strip and circular MSFP membrane were analyzed qualitatively to obtain the deformation characteristics of membrane by finite element analysis software.
