Often in construction practice there is a need to strengthen the pile foundation of buildings and structures. The traditional methods include the implementation of additional, as a rule, bored piles with the subsequent erection of a grillage incorporating them into operation. Often, this work has to be done in the conditions of dense urban development, in cramped rooms of the basement, etc., which leads to significant technological difficulties. One of the alternative ways to strengthen pile foundations is the method of high-pressure group injection, which consists in injecting a movable cement-sand mortar into the soil under pressure that exceeds its structural strength. As a result, after its hardening, solid injection bodies are formed at the base, reinforcing the soil base. The article describes the results of experiments to assess the impact of the layout of hard inclusions on the deformability of the soil foundation of the pile foundation model. The experiments were carried out in a small soil tray, which was filled with medium-grained loose sand. The piles were modeled with metal rods, the pile grillage with a metal square stamp. The pile foundation model included 9 piles arranged in a square grid. As injection bodies, gravel grains of various sizes and shapes were used. The studies included 10 series of experiments (each experiment was repeated at least 3 times): the volume of the inclusions used, their sizes, the positioning step in the plan and in depth varied. As a result of the analysis of the performed experiments, conclusions were formulated regarding the purpose of the optimal layout of hard inclusions when strengthening the soil foundation of pile foundations by high-pressure injection of mobile cement-sand mixtures.

Abstract: Cast-in situ bored pile is a common form of pile foundation and widely used in road and bridge engineering in China. Because of complex cast-in situ bored pile construction process, high technical content requirement, vulnerable to the impact of human and environmental factors, cast-in situ bored piles prone to various kinds of quality problems in the construction process, such as drilling deflection, drilling hole collapse and diameter reduction, wrong identification of pile-end’s bearing stratum, catheter tube blockage, reinforcement cage floating, pile breaking, pile silted, etc. These problems often make it difficult to meet the design requirements into a pile formation, and difficultly to remedy. In this paper, Zhoutian Zhenjiang bridge at Shaoguan City, Qujiang to Nanxiong highway A03 contract bid package cast-in situ bored pile foundation engineering encountered in the construction collapsed hole, inclined hole, catheter tube blockage and other issues for example to analyzes the cause of cast-in situ bored pile engineering accident, made appropriate preventive measures and processing method.

The south gate bridge of the Sanmenkou cross-harbor bridge at Xiangshan County lied in the East China Sea coastal waters. Aiming at reducing the influence caused by the pile foundation construction on the existing structures nearby, this paper introduces a new technology of spinning casing bored pile, which is the optimization and combination of different construction technologies. Through the corresponding calculation and analysis, the influence scope and extent of this technology is obtained in this paper. This technology has been successfully applied in the pile foundation engineering of a passenger dedicated line close to subway shield tunnels, it can provide the similar project that needs to consider the influence on the surroundings with reference, and it is worth wide promotion and application.

Impact drill holes into the pile construction technology is widely used in pile foundation construction job, construction vibrating pile thus to bring the impact of the increasingly prominent on the surrounding environment, the impact of this article on the construction site of a pile of drilled hole pile construction vibration effects on the surrounding environment experiment monitored by the monitoring data analysis found that the peak acceleration increases with distance attenuation occurs quickly, on the basis of analysis of pile foundation construction vibration velocity, frequency, and duration of the impact on the surrounding buildings, it is found that the frequency of vibration velocity with less impact on the housing, the duration of the construction will have an impact. Finally, analysis of the impact acceleration caused by the building structure from the perspective of seismic intensity, vibration intensity was found equivalent vi degree seismic intensity of little effect on the surrounding structures. Furthermore, the greatest impact of vibration on the residential buildings, by the way of excavating vibration attenuation ditch to control effect of vibration is proposed.

Cast-in-place pile with its strong adaptability, cost moderate, construction simple and its high bearing capacity, can penetrate through the soft soil layer, facilitate underwater construction and the settlement is small and other characteristics are widely used in bridge engineering field. But the changeful gulf climate, tidal fluctuations bring a lot of inconvenience to bridge foundation construction, and sea water features affect the durability of the bridge foundation, so cast-in place pile foundation construction are difficult technical at gulf environment. This paper introduces a successful practice about cast-in-place pile engineering in the bay bridge. Combined with the Fanhe Harbor Bridge engineering practice, based on the special hydrological, geological conditions, this paper expounds the gulf cast-in-place pile construction and key technology.
