With the development of information technology, especially the rapid development of network transmission technology, remote monitoring is becoming more and more popular, remote monitoring system (RMS) for CNC machines will be a trend in the control field. This paper introduces research and application status of RMS for CNC machines interiorly and abroad, summarizes its main features,discusses specific technical routes. Finally,problems and suggestions in the development are presented.

In recent years, the rapid development of industrial computer technology has provided the foundation for manufacturing automation and informatization. Intelligent Flexible Manufacturing Cell is being integrated with more complicated additional functions to realize the cooperation among CNC machines or between CNC machine and robot. How to detect the systems status rapidly and timely becomes one of the most concerned problems. This paper proposes a remote monitoring system for Intelligent Flexible Manufacturing Cell, designs the remote monitoring platform, determines the communication systems network structure, and establishes the database and software of monitoring system. The result shows that the system obtains a good result in practical application.

With the development of economy, the existence and application of the inflammable, explosive, toxic and harmful gases irresistible but dangerous at the same time in the industrial production application. for the sake of minimizing potential dangers, the remote security monitoring is of great significance. With the rapid development of network technology, the Internet network technology to implement the remote monitoring can effectively avoid some potential hazards in the industrial production and other dangerous things. We can draw a conclusion from the feedback that the effect of user experience is not ideal in the actual application. So based on the analysis of the traditional structure of remote monitoring system, a new remote monitoring system is created which can avoid these shortcomings through further research. This new system consists of three parts: 1. The client: using Flex rich client technology is more convenient and suitable for communication interface and let the customer feel familiar and easy to use. 2. data management layer: it contains three parts : the Web server layer, application server and database server layer . Application server promotes system real-time performance through Web Service technology, Shared memory and streaming Socket technology, which enables clients to have direct access to the site. 3. Data acquisition layer: data will be collected in a timely manner to send to data management with GPRS technology.

The embedded remote monitoring system is based on embedded technology, video coding technology and network transmission technology as the core of the new video surveillance system, it in real-time monitoring system, network, miniaturization, etc than traditional remote monitoring system has outstanding advantages. The embedded server is responsible for the data from field devices and video images, and real-time and reliable transmission to the remote client browser. User through a PC browser login system, can get equipment real-time data and video image, also can control the equipment, so as to realize remote monitoring. This paper designed and implemented a embedded remote monitoring system based on B/S structure, is of important engineering value.

To improve the efficiency of the remote monitoring system for logistics transportation, we proposed a remote monitoring system based on wireless sensor network and GPRS communication. The system can collect information from the wireless sensor network and transmit the information to the ZigBee interpreter. The monitoring system mainly includes the following parts: Car terminal, GPRS transmission network and monitoring center. Car terminal mainly consists by the Zigbee microcontroller and peripherals, wireless sensor nodes, RFID reader, GPRS wireless communication module composed of a micro-wireless monitoring network. The information collected by the sensor communicates through the GPRS and the monitoring center on the network coordinator, sends the collected information to the monitoring center, and the monitoring center realizes the information of the logistics vehicle in real time. The system has high applicability, meets the design requirements in the real-time acquisition and information transmission of the information of the logistics transport vehicles and goods, and realizes the function of remote monitoring.
