To meet the management requirement of potted flowers, a maneuverable and low-cost wireless monitoring system on the potted flower is designed in this paper. The system includes measuring module, data read and control module, remote wireless communication module and cloud storage module. The Arduino UNO platform is the core control module for this system, and the WiShield module is used as the wireless communication module. And, YL-69, GY-30 and SHT1x sensors constitute the data acquisition module. This system realized the acquisition of the air temperature and humidity, soil humidity and illumination, which were transmitted to the Yeelink platform to be saved or be used for online monitoring by the wireless communication module. This system is easy to be deployed, and has the features of low costs and good scalability.

Design for the greenhouse wireless monitoring system based on CC1100 chip. To realize data acquisition and transmission via the combination of the CC1100 wireless communication module and MCU control system. After testing the system has the characteristics of small volume, simple operation, low cost and strong practicability etc.

The terminal uses data acquisition module to collect antenna parameters of the base station, data is processed by S3C2440 core module and transmitted to management system by wireless communication module. This introduces hardware and software design solution of the terminal. The intelligent terminal can measure coordinates, altitude, azimuth and tilt of base station.

In an attempt to reduce exhaust emissions from transportation vehicles, the Taiwanese government plans to enact the "no idling emission" policy regarding motorcycles/scooters. Automatic Idling Stop and Go (AISG) technology is a simple low cost method in which the internal combustion engine is automatically powered off when the scooter stops and restarted when the driver wishes. However, due to dissimilarities between scooters and automobiles in terms of driving behavior and powertrain configuration, the AISG topology and control strategy as used in automobiles cannot be applied to scooters directly. This paper investigated the feasibility of applying the AISG control technique to scooters to enhance the system's security and reliability and address public concerns about AISG by analyzing riding behavior and security issues. The goal of this study was to demonstrate an AISG device, which included the development of a miniaturized AISG control module and control logic algorithm considering operative convenience and safety. Finally the developed AISG control module was installed in a four-stroke, electronic-fuel-injection (EFI) scooter, enabling us to perform an actual on-road test to verify the feasibility and reliability of the AISG control technology.

This paper introduced the design of gamma energy spectrometer by technology of LabVIEW and Bluetooth. The hardware of system included portable gamma energy spectrometer, Bluetooth module and PC. The software of system included the composed of acquisition system by the MCU and analysis system by PC.The design of acquisition system included the design of main program, liquid crystal display module, keyboard module, Bluetooth communication module and data acquisition module. The design of analysis system included the design of serial communication module, data storage module and data processing module. Practice shows that the energy spectrometer has a user-friendly, flexible, low cost, easy to expand and good performance.

This paper analyses the characteristics and the glowing use value of LED lights, using STC series microcontroller design a system of LED which can automatically adjust the light according to the environment changes. The control system consists by the data acquisition module and control module and circuit driver module. This paper gives the control circuit hardware and software design. This system has many advantages such as energy conservation and environmental protection and longevity when compared with the conventional lighting system.

An intelligent safety control system for operation of group tower cranes was developed in the context of rising security problems during operation of group tower cranes. The anti-anti-collision principle includes self-anti-collision and multi-tower cranes anti-collision. The system consists of PLC module, Touch screen, signal receiving module, data acquisition module, control module and signal transmitting module. Several techniques such as digital coding, early warning, failure diagnosis, wireless communication, intelligent design and humanization design are applied in the system. Operational parameters of tower canes are detected in real time insure the safety for cross operation of several tower cranes.

Abstract In this paper, we introduce ViPSN-E: a transient-motion-powered IoT sensor node. It carries out motion detection and wireless communication by making good use of the energy harvested from an instantaneous motion. In our design, a piezo-magneto-elastic structure, which is composed of a low-cost piezoelectric cantilever and a pair of magnets, is used to induce a plucking excitation and power generation under a transient and one-way movement. An energy management circuit, which is composed of a self-powered synchronized switch harvesting on inductor (SP-SSHI) interface circuit and a voltage regulator is utilized for efficient energy conversion. Through the sophisticated collaboration between mechatronic design and computer program, the motion information can also be identified and sent out by a wireless communication module. The cyber-electromechanical synergy among mechanical dynamics, power conditioning circuit, and the low-power embedded system is emphasized towards the successful implementation of such a motion-powered IoT device. The prototyped ViPSN-E has done a good job by making good use of the energy associated with each transient plucking motion. With only one plucking excitation, the system can realize motion detection and several rounds of wire-less transmission. The study on ViPSN-E provides valuable guidance towards the self-powered ubiquitous motion-sensing systems.

To the convenience of passenger travel, a kind of electronic bus stop boards system is discussed in this paper, which can be considered as intelligent equipment based on wireless communication technology. The combination between short-range wireless and long-distance communication module, together with the microcontroller composes the electronic bus stop boards system. The electronic bus stop boards system indicates the number of stations away from passengers’ station board on different nearest buses, current time and real-time humiture. The test results showed that the system could realize short-range and long-distance communication function and display the necessary information. With the advantages of high reliability and efficiency at low cost, the electronic bus stop boards system has more practical popularized value to replace traditional intelligent station boards with GPS and GPRS by cheap wireless communication module.
