The distorted X-Ray Image Intensifier (XRII) image can introduce negative effect on following work for C-arm CT imaging system. In this paper, we propose an integrated approach based on least squares and Biharmonic spline interpolation to correct geometric distortions of XRII images. The method first uses morphology operation to extract the coordinate values of control points. Then the least square method fits the extracted coordinate values in every row and computes the more coordinate values by fixing the length in every row. Finally, The Biharmonic spline interpolation is used to interpolate the all coordinate values and correct the distortional XRII image. The experiment shows that the integrated method can effectively correct the distorted XRII image.

The rheological long-term strength is determined according to the triaxial rheological test data of diabase at the dam area of Dagangshan Hydropower Station. Firstly, based on the stress-strain isochronous curve method and connected the test points with cubic spline interpolation function, the maximum deviation point in the long-term interval is determined as the turning point and established the long-term strength by nonlinear least square method. The results show that this method is consistent with the other methods. Finally, the advantage and disadvantage of this method is analyzed. This method can overcome the randomness of artificial selecting the turning points. Therefore, maximum deviation point method is relatively a reasonable and effective method to determine the rheological long-term strength of rock.

This study aims to analyze the influence of the area of oil palm plantations, oil palm production, and the number of the agricultural sector workforce on the agricultural sector PDRB in North Sumatra province. The data used are secondary data sourced from BPS North Sumatra province, namely PDRB variable in the agricultural sector, area of oil palm, palm oil production and the number of agricultural sector workforce in North Sumatra province in time series from 2008 to.d. 2017 in five districts namely, Asahan, Langkat, Labuhanbatu Utara, Labuhanbatu Selatan and Labuhan Batu districts. Data analysis was performed using the OLS (Ordinary Least Square) method with a panel data regression estimation model using the help of Eviews 10. The results of this study simultaneously showed that changes in the independent variables of land area, production and the total workforce of the agricultural sector together influenced Agricultural Sector PDRB variable significantly. While partially concluded that the variable area of land and oil palm production had a positive and significant effect on the PDRB of the agricultural sector in North Sumatra province, while the variable labor force in the agricultural sector had a negative effect on the PDRB of the agricultural sector in North Sumatra province.

This study aims to discuss the problems and solutions in terms of sharia financial aspects of the development of agricultural financing. This study used multiple linear regression analysis with ordinary least square method (OLS) combined with a descriptive explorative approach and developed by using literature review approach or literature study. The theory or conceptual approach is done by referring from several sources, such as books, scientific journals, and the internet. All existing idea descriptions are combined into a single frame of thought. The results showed that the variable of problem financing in agriculture sector had a significant negative effect on the profitability of sharia banking, therefore the application of financing concept for farmers through Sharia Finance Cooperative or Baitul Maal bi Tamwil (BMT) using Bai 'Salam".

In this article, a fast approach of video stabilization is presented based on haerachical estimmation of global motion and multi-thread parallel computation. At first, the structure-texture decomposition is adopted to tackle the negative effect from illumination changes. Then according to pyramid structure of image texture a hierachical model is built to estimate global motion parameters with least square method. Afterwards Gaussian smoothing method is employed to eliminate error accumulation in motion compensation. Meanwhile the multi-thread parallel computation is used to speed up the processing efficiency so as to achieve a real time performance for videos with 25fps.

There is geometric distortion of image in integral Stereolithography (SL) system, and the geometric distortion will influence the building accuracy of the SL system. To improve the building accuracy of the SL system, researches of distortion correction of image in the SL system are carried out. The distortion model of binary cubic polynomial interpolation is established with least-square method. The gray scale rebuilding is implemented with space-variable linear interpolation by using VC++6.0. The experimental results indicate that the geometric distortion of the image in integral SL system has been eliminated remarkably, and the radial RMS error is 0.96 pixels. The research lays a foundation for improving building accuracy of the integral SL System.

Numerical substructures adopt predetermined hysteretic models for conventional substructure testing (CST). It is difficult to achieve accurate results in CST due to errors from modelling of numerial substructures. To diminish the negative effect caused by the assumed restoring model, online identification with least square method using experimental data was adopted to update the model of numerical substructure. The effectiveness of least square method are verified with pseudo-dynamic substructure testing for single story frame with a buckling-restrained brace. The results indicate that the on-line identification algorithm based least square method has good accuracy, stability, and efficiency.

The term microfibril angle (MFA) in wood refers to the angle between the spiralling cellulose fibrils and the long axis of the tracheid cell wall. Diffraction patterns arising from crystal planes of various sample forms of wood trees had attracted scientific research in determining the crystallographic measurements. As such the tropical hard wood in Sabah, Acacia mangium was chosen for experimental data. Age-contributing factors were measured; the angle of reflection (θ), relative intensity, full width at half maximum (FWHM), the nearest between two neighbouring atoms in the crystalline structure (d-spacing) and the peak height, had been taken into account at different ages, pith and bark of tree. Regressions were done in comparing the microfibril angle, MFA at different ages using the least-square method and cubic-spline interpolation. The latter was able to interpolate a polynomial up to the third order. The range of the optimum angle was found to have benefited foresters in deciding the time for tree cropping and harvesting.

A concept of a kidney uptake coefficient (UC) of 131I-o-hippurate was developed by analogy from the corresponding kidney clearance of blood plasma in the early period after injection of the hippurate. The UC for each kidney was defined as the count-rate over its ROI at a time shorter than the peak in the renoscintigraphic curve divided by the integral of the count-rate curve over the "blood"-ROI. A procedure for normalization of both curves against each other was also developed. The total kidney clearance of the hippurate was determined from the function of plasma activity concentration vs. time after a single injection; the determinations were made at 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90 min after intravenous administration of 131I-o-hippurate and the best-fit curve was obtained by means of the least-square method. When the UC was related to the absolute value of the clearance a positive linear correlation was found (r = 0.922, ρ > 0.99). Using this regression equation the clearance could be estimated in reverse from the uptake coefficient calculated solely on the basis of the renoscintigraphic curves without blood sampling. The errors of the estimate are compatible with the requirement of a fast appraisal of renal function for purposes of clinical diagknosis.
