Effect of activating device on the property of tap water was studied by surface tensiometer and pH meter. The results showed that the surface tension of tap water activated by the device reduced and pH value increased. The variations of surface tension and pH value are connected with flow rates. The larger flow rate, the less variation of surface tension and pH value when at the same cycle time, however, the more variation of surface tension and pH value when at the same activating time. Activated by the device, 17O NMR half width of tap water reduced from 70.79Hz at the inlet to 60.87Hz at the outlet. Reduction of surface tension were caused by hydrogen bonds in water clusters which were weakened or broken by far-infrared radiation of functional ceramic ball and galvanic cell action of copper-zinc alloy. Increment of pH value were caused by H+ in water exchanging with metal cations on surface of far-infrared ceramic balls and dissolved oxygen getting electron and forming OH-1 with the function of copper-zinc alloy.

In this paper, the micro-nanopowder of ancient Sea rock was used as core material to filter tap water. With this method, the healthy-drinking water has been prepared successfully with the property of weak alkaline, small molecule clusters, rich of trace elements contributing to health. Its properties were characterized by high-resolution superconducting NMR spectrometer, inductively-coupled plasma spectrometer, far infrared radiation rate tester, pH acidity meter and redox potential instrument. The results showed that the pH value of this water was 7.2~7.8, and the region of ORP was 124mV; FWHM of 17O-NMR spectrum was 56.39Hz, It is a kind of water with small molecules; It also contains a variety of macro and micro elements which human needed; The filtered water is beneficial to human health and longevity with a good immune function. Keywords: Ancient Sea rock, Function water, Health, Longevity;

The need for deinking mills to reduce their fresh water consumption has resulted in higher loads of various contaminants in the process water. Lower recovered paper quality also leads to higher contamination levels in the mills. This higher load has an influence on achievable target brightness. The objective of the work was to determine and explain the main reasons for relatively poor deinked pulp quality or poor deinking potential based on the influence of recovered paper composition and process water quality. The process water parameters significantly affect the deinking potential of recovered paper. The test results showed the negative effects of increased water hardness. For standard recovered paper mixtures, flotation selectivity is higher with increasing flotation pH-value. Good results were realized for standard recovered paper with low hardness, low surface tension, and high pH-value. The results for recovered paper containing flexo newsprint could be slightly improved with low hardness, low surface tension, and low pH-value. The results of the test program using design of experiments showed interacting effects of pH-value and surface tension on luminosity and flotation selectivity.
