A low expense chloro-monomer, 1-(4'-chloro-1-benzoyl)-3-(4'-1-choro-benzene sulfonyl)-benzene(CBCBSB), was synthesized by the Friedel-Crafts reaction of m-chlorosu1fonyl benzoyl chloride with chlorobenzene. A novel poly (aryl ether sulfone ketone)s (PAESK) containing m-sulfonylbenzoyl linkages in the main chains were prepared by copolycondensation of CBCBSB with hydroquinone in N, N-Dimethylacetamide (DMAc). The structure of PAESK was confirmed by FT-IR, 1H-NMR and characterized by XRD. thermogravimetry (TG) and Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) were carried out to demonstrate its good melt processability. The polymer exhibited the better solubility in chloroform, N-methyl-2-pyrrlidone(NMP), dimethylacetamide(DMAC), dimethylformamide (DMF) and dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) and excellent mechanical performance.

Heterocyclic compounds were prepared from Schiff bases triester derivatives, the first step was included, p- aminobenzoic acids convert to p-amino benzoyl chloride in the presence of thionyl chloride then glycerol was added to form triesters compound A. second step reaction of triester product with the 4-nitrobenzaldehyde, and 3-amino benzaldehyde to produce M1, and M2. The third step. Involve reacted Schiff bases triester derivatives to give heterocyclic compounds M1S, M1A, M2P, and M2K. The structure of all compounds is monitored by (TLC), and identified by many techniques 1HNMR, FT-IR, and melting point.

Polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS) possessing 7-oxanorbornene-5, 6-dicarboximide (POSS-ONDI) functionalized macromers are synthesised and well characterized using FT-IR, 1H, 13C and 29Si-NMR spectroscopic techniques. The homopolymer of [N-3(trifluoromethyl)phenyl-7-oxanorbornene-5,6-dicarboximide] (TFONDI) and a series of linear copolymers between [N-(POSS)-7-oxanorbornene-5, 6-dicarboximide] POSS-ONDI and TFONDI are prepared through ring opening metathesis polymerisation (ROMP) using Grubbs catalyst. All the polymers are characterized using FT-IR, 1H-NMR, TGA, DSC, AFM, TEM, XRD and GPC techniques.

A new series polymers was synthesized from reaction starting material Bisacodyl A or [(2-Pyridinylmethylene) di-4, 1-phenylene di acetate] with hydrogen bromide, then the products were polymerized by addition polymerization from used adipoyl and glutaroyl chloride. The structure of these compounds was characterized by FT-IR, melting points, TLC, X-Ray, DSC and 1H-NMR for starting material. These compounds were also screened for their antibacterial activists?

The reaction of(2-oxo-2H-chromen-3-Carbonyl chloride)(k1) with hydrazine in boiling ethanol gives the hydrazide(K2).When compound (k2) reacts with various aromatic aldehydes ,the corres ponding Schiff bases(k3–k4) achieve new series of thiazotidines (k5–k6) and azetidinones (k7–k8) obtained from the reactions of appropriate Schiff bases with mercapto acetic acid and chloro acetyl chloride respectively. All the compounds are characterized by FT-IR,1H-NMR and GC-Ms.

Few novel chalcones were synthesised by treating 4-fluoro-3-phenoxy benzaldehyde with different substituted ketones and characterised using 1H NMR and mass spectrometry. The chalcones synthesised were further treated with hydrazine hydrate to get corresponding pyrazolines. The newly synthesised pyrazolines were characterised by 1H NMR and mass spectrometry.

A series of new compounds including p-bromo methyl pheno acetate [2]. N-( aminocarbonyl)–p-bromo pheno acetamide [3] , N-( aminothioyl) -p-bromo phenoacetyl amide [4], N-[4-(p-di phenyl)-1,3-oxazol-2-yl]-p-bromopheno acetamide [5],N-[4-p-di phenyl]-1,3-thiazol-2-yl-p-bromo phenoacet amide [6], p-bromopheno acetic acid hydrazide [7] , 1-N-(p-bromo pheno acetyl)-1,2-dihydro-pyridazin-3,6- dione [8], 1-N-(p-bromo pheno acetyl)-1,2-dihydro-phthalazin-3,8- dione[ 9], 1-(p-bromo pheno acetyl)-3-methylpyrazol-5-one [10] and 1-(p-bromo phenol acetyl)- 3,5-dimethyl pyrazole [11] have been synthesized. The prepared compounds were characterized by m.p.,FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. Also ,the biological activity was evaluated .

We report here the synthesis and characterization of new N-(3-(8-bromoimidazo[1, 2-a]pyridin-2-yl)-4-fluorophenyl)benzamide derivatives. This collection was obtained from 3-(8-bromoimidazo [1,2-a]pyridin-2-yl)-4-fluoroaniline(5). The family of new compounds was characterized by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, FT-IR and LC-MS analysis.

The present work involved preparation of new hetro cyclic polyacrylamides (1-9) using reaction of polyacryloyl chloride with 2-aminobenzothiazole which prepeard by thiocyanogen method in the presence of a suitable solvent and amount tri ethyl amine (Et3N) with heating. The structure confirmation of polymers were proved using FT-IR,1H-NMR,C13NMR and UV spectroscopy.Other physical properties including softening and melting points, and solubility of the polymers were also measured.

A new series of anthracene scaffold containing 1,3,5-trisubstituted pyrazoline derivatives (3a-p) were synthesized and well characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FTIR, mass spectroscopic and elemental analysis methods. The reactions were carried out from anthracenyl pyrazolines (1a-p) and benzoyl chloride (2) in presence of anhydrous K2CO3 in acetone under reflux conditions for 2-7 h. The obtained yields were good to excellent (80-94%).
