As an important part of the deep-water oil and gas field, the development process of subsea Christmas tree includes design, manufacture and test. The testing technology of subsea Christmas tree supplies reliability and security for the use of subsea Christmas tree, and it`s an important content of the localization of subsea Christmas tree. This paper takes Zhuhai deep water subsea engineering equipment manufacturing and testing base as the basis, in accordance with relevant specifications and engineering examples, mainly studies the factory acceptance testing and the system integration testing of subsea Christmas tree and puts forward the content and steps of the testing. Meanwhile, the site requirements are analysed which will provide technical support for the subsea Christmas tree testing research and provide references and recommendations for the establishment of Zhuhai base in China.

With the development of offshore oil and gas field enters into deep water constantly, subsea production system has become the main development mode in deep water development. Subsea Inline manifold (ILM) is common facilities in subsea production system and is used to gather oil and gas from the side subsea wells. Two subsea ILMs has been adopted in Panyu 35-1/35-2 Gas field with water depth range from 194 to 338 m in South China Sea. System integration test (SIT) is very important for the subsea production facilities. This paper states the flow chart, master equipment, purpose and precautions for each test of ILM SIT, which collects great technology for the development of subsea production system.

Fixed platform have been widely employed in the offshore oil and gas reservoirs development. Pile foundation reliability is critical for these platforms where drilling, production and other functions are integrated. The lifting operation for the long pile, being a key step in the jacket installation, has been considered for further developments. With deep water developments, the sizes and weights of long piles are reasonably bigger. The corresponding process and equipment employed are subsequently altered, which brings challenges to developing a cost-effective, easy-operable approach for lifting operation. In this paper, the technology for the offshore long pile upending lifting operation including pile feature, installation methodology, lifting rigging and analysis model, covering water depths ranging from shallow to near deep water zone (60–300 m water depth) has been suggested. In addition, the applicability of the adoptable novel approaches has been discussed considering the practical project experience.

A mathematical model of the development of an oil and gas field is presented. The field development process is treated as sequential in nature. Completion of a well and its production are considered to be random processes. The model uses results from renewal theory where the completion of a well and failure to produce economical amount of oil or gas are analogous to the failure of a component. In principle, the theory described can give the complete probability distribution associated with a field development. Explicit expressions are given for the expected value and variance of the number of completed wells.

An embedded type PLET has been adopted in Panyu 35-1/35-2 Gas field with the water depth of 194 to 338 m. Factory Accept Test (FAT) is very important for the subsea production facilities, and the references is very limited due to technical security. This paper in detail states the flow chart, master equipment, purpose and precautions for each test of FAT for PLET, which collects great technology for the development of subsea production system.

Internationally the research of low permeability oil reservoir is a difficult point in the exploration and development of oil and gas field. This thesis, based on the research methods of low permeability reservoirs at home and abroad, summaries several major problems encountered in the process of low permeability oil exploration and development under the current technical conditions as well as the corresponding, but more effective technical measures that need to be constantly improved. And that exploration and development of low permeability of the reservoir will be the main battle field for some time in the future of oil exploration and development.
