In the inspection work, inspecting not in time often lead to equipment abnormal and failure. In order to solve the problem, this paper developed an inspection program with the use of RFID technology and a PDA. In order to realize the function of inspection task assignment, equipment information collection, inspection results uploaded and data analysis, a substation inspection management system based on B/S architecture was also designed. Both the inspection program and the management system had been tested in the Yingzhang 220Kv Substation of the Luohe City. The trial operation results conformed to the actual requirements of substation inspection. And the standardized management of the substation inspection could be also realized.

With the development of wireless communication technology, mobile computing technology that all walks of life increasingly improve intelligence, the computer information technology are more and more been used in various fields. For Hangzhou cigarette factory, this paper is based on RFID technology, designs the wireless inspection service platform, and the system function is carried on the thorough analysis, so do the basis of dividing the corresponding subsystem and function modules, thus for the reasonable development, finally completing the design and planning of the whole system. Through wireless communication with the server for data interaction, it reduces the regional space and the limitation on the inspection work, improves the efficiency of the inspection work, and to ensure the quality of work.

Based on the analyzing of the characteristics of a Body-In-White pressing production process a pressing workshop production management system has been given in order to make the ERP production scheduling more executable. The detailed function model of it such as task assignment, quality control, mold maintenance and production scheduling has been thoroughly discussed. In order to make the production line capability balance the task dispatching algorithm has been given and the dynamic dispatching and controlling process has been explained. This system can be integrated with the upper ERP/CAPP/PDM system which can improve the information level of a company.

Inspection systems are currently an evolving field in the industry. The main goal is to provide a picture of the quality of intermediates and products in the production process. The most widespread sensory system is camera equipment. This article describes the implementation of camera devices for checking the location of the upper on the shoe last. The next part of the article deals with the analysis of the application of laser sensors in this task. The results point to the clear advantages of laser sensors in the inspection task of placing the uppers on the shoe’s last. The proposed method defined the resolution of laser scanners according to the type of scanned surface, where the resolution of point cloud ranged from 0.16 to 0.5 mm per point based on equations representing specific points approximated to polynomial regression in specific places, which are defined in this article. Next, two inspection systems were described, where one included further development in the field of automation and industry 4.0 and with a high perspective of development into the future. The main aim of this work is to conduct analyses of sensory systems for inspection systems and their possibilities for further work mainly based on the resolution and quality of obtained data. For instance, dependency on scanning complex surfaces and the achieved resolution of scanned surfaces.
