Research on Mechanical Mechanics with Trajectory Reconstruction Model of Motorcycle’s Three-Dimensional Rolling Movement

In order to simulate and analyze the rolling movement state of motorcycle in collision accidents, the trajectory reconstruction model was studied. The motorcycle’s centroid trajectory model during the process of rolling and the feature point trajectory model during the process of sliding are both constructed. Using the accidents reconstruction and analysis software named PC-Crash and the models constructed in this paper respectively, a real accident case was reconstructed and analyzed. The comparative study between the reconstruction analysis results and the marks remained in the accident scene was conducted. Research showed that, the analysis result reconstructed by the model was consistent with the actual accident scene. This model can be used to reconstruct and analyze the motorcycle’s rolling movement trajectory after collision occurring.

In order to provide a theory algorithm for simulation and reconstruction analysis of automobile two-dimensional eccentric collision accidents, the applicability problems of the traditional dynamics model and trajectory model in this kind of accident were analyzed in theory respectively. Using PC-Crash software and the traditional models, a real accident case was reconstructed and analyzed. The comparative study between the reconstruction analysis results and the vehicles traces remained in the accident scene was conducted. According to the comparative study, reliabilities of the traditional models were verified.

In order to provide a theory algorithm and a mechanical automation process for simulation and reconstruction analysis of offset collision accidents, the application limitation of traditional one-dimensional collision dynamics model was summarized, on the basis of analysis. Using the principles of classical mechanics and mechanical automation, the collision dynamics model and movement trajectory model of automobile offset collision were constructed. Using the model above and PC-Crash mechanical automation software, a real accident case was analyzed. The comparative study between the reconstruction analysis results and the vehicle’s traces remained in the accident scene was conducted. The comparative analysis showed that, the turning trajectories of automobiles were consistent with the trajectories remained in the accident scene. The model is suitable for small eccentric offset collision accidents.

This paper compares two methodologies for estimating the flow loads on the shroud of a typical BWR caused by a Recirculation Outlet Line Break. First, assuming an ideal and irrotational flow field, the complex potential methodology is used to calculate a two dimensional approximation of the flow field by ignoring variations along the radial direction. As a simplification for the comparative study the annulus will be assumed to be devoid of any structural components such as the jet pumps. The flow field derived from the potential flow approach will be used to compute the total lateral and moment loads acting on the shroud. These load values will be compared against similar values derived from a three dimensional and more realistic flow field computed by Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The potential flow based method is computationally simpler as compared to the more time consuming CFD approach.

ABSTRACT This study investigates the capacity of the steel section using both AISC and Eurocode approaches by Robot Structure Analysis software. Three types of steel sections were subject to biaxial bending by applying loads to both main axes and examined by both approaches. The concept of Fisher was also adopted as an approach. The findings suggested that the Eurocode approach is more conservative in the design of steel sections subject to biaxial bending as it takes into account the level at which the load is applied, the type of the section whether rolled or welded and its height-to-width ratio (lateral buckling effect), the effects which are not considered in AISC approach. The AISC approach considers the shear center of the section as the level at which the loads are applied. The conservatism of the results was more pronounced when the section is close to H-section. Fisher`s concept of structural design of biaxial bending of structural steel is more conservative than both AISC and Eurocode approaches of analysis.

Abstract: This research is a comparative literary study that uses Malay and Javanese versions of Mahabarata text sources. The research objects used were the text edition of Pandhawa Gubah (PG) by Sudibjo Z. Hadisutjipto and the text of Cheritera Pandawa Lima (CPL) by Khalid Hussain. The research method used is descriptive-analysis method. In the comparative study used a comparative literary theory proposed by Endraswara (2011). The results of the text comparison reveal the similarities and differences in the image of Bima figures in the Javanese and Malay versions. The equation as a whole is that both texts contain the same heroic storyline and heroic character, Bima. In addition, Indian influence is still evident in the two texts seen from the nuances of Hinduism that exist in both texts. While the difference is seen in the events that accompany Bima's struggle in achieving his victory. Based on these similarities and differences, it can be seen that the authors attempt to represent the concept of metaphysical interactions vertically and horizontally expressed through PG text. --- Abstrak: Penelitian ini adalah satu kajian sastra bandingan yang menggunakan sumber teks Mahabarata versi Melayu dan Jawa. Objek penelitian yang digunakan adalah edisi teks Pandhawa Gubah (PG) karya Sudibjo Z. Hadisutjipto dan teks Cheritera Pandawa Lima (CPL) karya Khalid Hussain. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif-analisis. Dalam telaah perbandingan digunakan teori sastra bandingan yang dikemukakan Endraswara (2011). Hasil perbandingan teks mengungkapkan adanya persamaan dan perbedaan citra tokoh Bima dalam versi Jawa maupun versi Melayu. Persamaan secara keseluruhan adalah kedua teks tersebut mengandung alur cerita kepahlawanan dan tokoh pahlawan yang sama yaitu Bima. Selain itu, pengaruh India masih tampak dalam kedua teks tersebut dilihat dari nuansa Hinduisme yang ada dalam kedua teks. Sementara perbedaannya tampak pada peristiwa-peristiwa yang menyertai perjuangan Bima dalam mencapai kemenangannya. Berdasarkan persamaan dan perbedaan tersebut tampak adanya upaya penulis untuk merepresentasikan konsep interaksi metafisik secara vertikal dan horizontal yang diungkapkan melalui teks PG.
