Nowadays, Product Integrated Photovoltaic (PIPV) plays a major role in renewable energy sources, particularly for the infantry soldiers and defense industry. During war field, soldiers having various harms such as very cold temperature and some region like hot weather. Hence, in this risky process they cannot always be having the tools with battery for communication equipment and still in case they are prepared with batteries, it will be a big burden for them. Thus, to overcome this difficulty, a light weight wearable solar device being designed especially for the warrior. The proposed research contains a design, which is a portable-charging unit that utilizes flexible solar cells. The flexible solar cells are tested in different environment to find out the best arrangement and design for soldier‟s bag.

Shrimp is very promising commodity of the Indonesian export commodities. One of shrimp cultivation fields is pond which is a place of aquaculture located near the beach. Application of renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic cell technology has been prepared to provide energy supply integratedly in the shrimp ponds in Pinrang District of South Sulawesi. Energy needed in the shrimp ponds is to provide energy supply for some supporting equipments such as aerator water mill, lighting, water pump, and others. Community empowerment activity was carried out in order to empower communities in Pinrang District of South Sulawesi in application of renewable energy resources in their shrimp ponds. This activity was arranged in self supporting energy concept in the shrimp pond and supported by a program of Kuliah Kerja Nyata–Program Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (KKN-PPM) DIKTI. Equipment manufacture of photovoltaic cell prototype as energy sources of aerator waterwheel and lighting in the shrimp pond has been completed. Some community groups of shrimp farmers have been trained in the manufacture and operation of the photovoltaic cell equipment.

Abstract The results of calculations presented in the article show the effectiveness of the transition from diesel power plants using imported fuel to installations using renewable energy sources – solar cells and wind generators. Studies have shown that for Primorsky Krai such a transition is justified, despite significant capital costs, and the payback period for new power plants based on renewable energy sources is about 8 years.

Abstract The aim of this research is to find a solution that can contribute to the more widespread use of electric vehicles and, through development, promote the use of renewable energy sources. It aims to eliminate the disadvantages of electric vehicles, such as self-discharge, stationary charging and limited range. The focus is mainly a solar-powered solution, since small solar cells have already been implemented on the commercially available Nissan Leaf model to solve similar problems but with very little or no improvement. Encouraged by this attempt I have engineered a larger, more useful auxiliary solar cell system to improve the range of these vehicles.

The invention and installation of a "grid tie rotating solar rooftop panel utilising PIC microcontroller" is presented in this work. As non-renewable energy supplies become scarcer, renewable energy sources are increasingly used to generate electricity. Solar panels are becoming increasingly popular, and this idea is based on a pic microcontroller rotates the solar panel according to position of sun. The solar panel's energy is then stored in a battery, which is then used to power the home or business. The grid tie mechanism then returns the remaining energy to the power station. As a result, many people's power usage will be lowered as a result of these projects. As light shines on the photodiode, a voltage is formed across these diodes, which is generated by the photovoltaic cell. The number of diodes in a series is termed an array, and these arrays are connected in parallel. As a result, the standard wattage panel is formed. Through a net metering system, the generated ac will be connected to the main grid. As a result, when our demand is lower, the generated supply will flow back to the grid, rotating the metre in the other way. The net metre system is named after the fact that as our demand increases at night, the metre rotates in the forward direction.

Renewable energy sources have both renewable and sustainable properties and the utilization of renewable energy sources is a continuously developed alternative. One of the technologies that can utilize renewable energy is polycrystalline solar cells. Solar cells are technology that converts sunlight energy into electrical energy. This technology is very potentially applied in Indonesia that has a tropical climate, but the main problem of this system is the power instability generated. The power produced relies heavily on the intensity of the sun received by the solar panels. The intensity of the solar radiation received by the solar panels can be maximised by installing solar panels, with a precise tilt angle. In research acquired the relationship between irradiation and current correlates of R = 0.7251. From the correlation value above indicates that there is a strong link and is directly proportional between irradiation and the current obtained. The acquired Model needs to be seen its accuracy, in which case it will be used Mean Absolute Percent Error So it is obtained by 26.5%. This indicates that the model is good enough.
