Diabesity term recently coined in medical field because of the very close epidemiological and pathogenic associations between central obesity and Type 2DM. Material and Methods: This review is based on data collected from published research works in various journals. Observations and Results: cited based on research reviews to find out risk odds of obesity and physical inactivity and initiation of type 2 diabetes with solutions based on improve physical activity. Conclusion: Counseling would be one of the best strategies to opt physical exercise with moderate and vigorous intensity recommended as world health organization as healthy behaviour to prevent and control of type 2 diabetes. Thus, Present write up is an effort to critically evaluate and assess the published research data on obesity and its association with development of type 2 diabetes and role of Physical exercises for prevention and control of type 2 DM as its solution with research evidences.

India is recognized as diabetic capital of the world now and among all chronic diseases increased prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes mellitus has been recognized globally. Though various modifiable risk factors are identified for the development of type 2 diabetes mellitus such as prediabetes, overweight, obesity, poor diet, smoking, physical inactivity and given importance in the management of disease. But among all stress and anxiety has not been getting proper importance in development and management of Type 2 diabetes. Though number of studies have been identified stress as risk factor for type 2 diabetes. Thus, the present write up is aimed to review the effect of different emotional stressor as risk in the development and uncontrolled hyperglycemia in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with effective solutions. Material and Methods: This review is based on data collected from classical Ayurvedic literature, and published research works in various journals. Observations and Results: cited based on research reviews to find out risk odds of different emotional stressor and type 2 diabetes with solutions based on Ayurveda and Yoga principles such as role of Raga therapy, Yogasan, Pranayama (breathing technique), Panchakarma procedures and use of Medhya Rasayana (nootropic) drugs. Conclusion: Counselling would be one of the best strategy to create awareness among healthy individual and type 2 diabetic to opt healthy behaviour to manage emotional stress and for the prevention and better control of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Thus, Present write up is an effort to provide attention on various emotional stressor as risk factor and also discuss the various healthy behavioural techniques to control emotional stress.

The objective of this study was to assess the effects of an active video game (AVG) program in physiological parameters, fitness levels, motivation to physical activity, and quality of life on people with type 2 diabetes (T2D). Eight T2D patients participated in the 8-week AVG program using Xbox Kinect and/or Nintendo Wii. Heart rate (HR) and rating of perceived exertion (RPE) were monitored during exercise. Physiological and fitness assessment included hemoglobin A1C (HbA1c), HR, blood pressure (BP), body mass index, body composition, aerobic and muscular endurance, muscular strength, and flexibility. Psychological outcome measures included the Physical Activity Measure-Revised (MPAM-R), Situational Motivation Scale (SIMS), and World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL)-BREF. Participants demonstrated a moderate level of exercise intensity during AVG based on average HR and RPE. HbA1c, BP, and lower extremity muscle strength were improved, but were not statistically significant. The changes on psychological assessment were not significant. However, most participants demonstrated positive behavior and attitudes toward health and physical activity at one-month follow-up. This pilot study demonstrated that the AVG program might be an effective and alternative way of exercise for people with T2D. A future RCT is warranted to determine the physical and psychological effects of AVG on T2D population.

World Health Organization (WHO) defined zoonotic diseases as diseases transmitted from animals to humans and vice versa with or without vector, where more than 75% of the human’s diseases have been transmitted from animals or their products. Nevertheless, campylobacteriosis is still one of the most important food borne zoonotic diseases that is likely to challenge global public health all over the world. In Egypt, campylobacteriosis causes severe losses in comparison with other food borne pathogens like Salmonella or Escherichia coli. The potential sources of Campylobacter transmission are poultry backyards and meat, cattle meat, raw milk and water. The main clinical manifestations of human’s campylobacteriosis are gastroenteritis and later on nervous signs. Prevention and control strategic plans of campylobacteriosis are very crucial.

In this work, we predict the prevalence of type 2 diabetes among adult Rwandan people. We used the Metropolis-Hasting method that involved calculating the metropolis ratio. The data are those reported by World Health Organiation in 2015. Considering Suffering from diabetes, Overweight, Obesity, Dead and other subject as states of mathematical model, the transition matrix whose elements are probabilities is generated using Metropolis-Hasting sampling. The numerical results show that the prevalence of type 2 diabetes increases from 2.8% in 2015 to reach 12.65% in 2020 and to 22.59% in 2025. Therefore, this indicates the urgent need of prevention by Rwandan health decision makers who have to play their crucial role in encouraging for example physical activity, regular checkups and sensitization of the masses. Diabetes in whites of European descent with hemochromatosis was first attributed to pancreatic siderosis. Later observations revealed that the pathogenesis of diabetes inHFEhemochromatosis is multifactorial and its clinical manifestations are heterogeneous. Increased type 2 diabetes risk inHFEhemochromatosis is associated with one or more factors, including abnormal iron homeostasis and iron overload, decreased insulin secretion, cirrhosis, diabetes in first-degree relatives, increased body mass index, insulin resistance, and metabolic syndrome. In p.C282Y homozygotes, serum ferritin, usually elevated at hemochromatosis diagnosis, largely reflects body iron stores but not diabetes risk. In persons with diabetes type 2 without hemochromatosis diagnoses, serum ferritin levels are higher than those of persons without diabetes, but most values are within the reference range. Phlebotomy therapy to achieve iron depletion does not improve diabetes control in all persons withHFEhemochromatosis. The prevalence of type 2 diabetes diagnosed today in whites of European descent with and withoutHFEhemochromatosis is similar. Routine iron phenotyping orHFEgenotyping of patients with type 2 diabetes is not recommended. Herein, we review diabetes inHFEhemochromatosis and the role of iron in diabetes pathogenesis in whites of European descent with and withoutHFEhemochromatosis.
