The Indian FMCG sector is the fourth largest sector in the economy with a total market size in excess of US$ 13.1 billion. The FMCG market is set to treble from US$ 11.6 billion in 2003 to US$ 33.4 billion in 2015. Skin care products are one of the key constituents of the FMCG sector. One of the major products under skin care products are antiseptic creams. In India, the market size of the antiseptic cream markets is approximately US$ 2.94 billion. The major players in the antiseptic cream industry are Betadine Cream, Boroline, Boroplus, Vicco Turmeric Cream, etc. With the growing market and many players, it becomes essential for every organization to retain the brand that it has set in the market. And every organization wants to take advantage the market and one such organization is Boroline.

Using kangaroo care (KC) with unstable and/or ventilated infants remains controversial. In this article, potential advantages for ventilated infants and their mothers are discussed. The 33-week-gestation infant in this case study presented with mild respiratory distress at birth, requiring supplemental oxygen at hour 2. With no improvement by hour 18, KC was also begun, first for 1.25 hours and then, 2 hours later, for 3.5 hours. The infant was intubated at hour 45 for increasing respiratory distress, and KC resumed 24 hours later for 1 hour and 3 hours after that for an additional 3 hours. Extubation occurred at hour 90. Kangaroo care resumed 2 hours later for periods of 1.5, 1.5, and 1 hour over the next 8 hours, 2.5 hours more later that day (day 5, the last day of data collection). Thereafter, KC was done intermittently until discharge on day 9. Total KC times for pre-vent, vent, and immediate post-vent periods were 4.75, 4, and 6.5 hours, respectively. The data from this study suggest that KC may assist in, rather than retard, recovery from respiratory distress. KC may also foster maternal relaxation and minimize maternal stress.

ABSTRACT               Venous ulcers (varicose ulcers or stasis ulcers) are the wounds occurring due to inappropriate functioning of venous valves, commonly of legs. It is most common and serious chronic venous insufficiency complication. The overall incidence rate is 0.76% in men and 1.42% in women. When venous valve gets damaged, it prevents the backflow of blood, which causes pressure in the vein that leads to hypertension, which stretches the veins resulting in ulcer formation. If not treated properly, the ulcers may get infected leading to cellulitis or gangrene and eventually may need amputation of the part of limb.               In Ayurvedic prospective, varicose ulcers can be correlated with ‘Siragata Dushta Vrana’. Acharya Sushruta has advocated the Shashthi upakrama 1 (60 procedures) for treating the dushta vrana, among which Dhawana/ Parishek2 become third upakrama/procedure that means parishek procedure is included in first top 3 procedures and is useful in infected and non-healing wounds.               Patients with varicose ulcers was advised to take ‘Sukshma Triphala’ internally and ‘Panchavalkala Kwatha Dhawana’ over lower limb daily twice a day followed by cleaning and dressing of wound which proved very effective and the ulcer healed completely in 30 days.

In this study, core technologies applied to the beauty industry (hair, makeup, skin care, nail) in the era of the 4th industrial revolution and the transition of industrial paradigm of literature review was performed. Based on this, analysis and prediction of future trends were performed through case analysis of ICT convergence applied to the beauty industry. As a result, it could be confirmed that these core technologies are progressing in the direction of improving the value of the services provided in the past through convergence. Therefore, it was possible to confirm through case analysis that the direction of the beauty industry was changing from the existing functionoriented professional service concept to customer-centered personalization, prediction, prevention, and participation. This study expands the scope of research on convergence with core technologies of the 4th industrial revolution at the conventional corporate level and expands it to the beauty industry to analyze the future through convergence with core technologies from the beauty business perspective. There are implications for predicting the direction of In addition, by categorizing the beauty industry into four types (hair, makeup, skin care, and nail), specific future directions for each sub-area are presented, thereby presenting practical implications that can be immediately applied to the workplace.
