Hydrangea ringspot virus (HdRSV) is a plant RNA virus, naturally infecting Hydrangea macrophylla . Here, we report the first genomic sequences of two HdRSV isolates from hydrangea plants in Japan. The overall nucleotide sequences of these Japanese isolates were 96.0 to 96.3% identical to those of known European isolates.

ABSTRACT Ten chikungunya virus isolates from human plasma collected in Haiti from May to August 2014, in the midst of a chikungunya fever outbreak, were fully sequenced. The resulting genomic sequences are nearly identical, and phylogenetic analyses indicate they belong to the Asian lineage of the virus.

ABSTRACT Here, we report the near-complete genome sequences of vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) serotype Indiana isolates from the 2020 U.S. outbreak. The sequences were obtained from swabs collected from Kansas horses in July and August. The four genome sequences help improve our understanding of VSV outbreak dynamics in the United States.

ABSTRACT We report here the first complete nucleotide sequences of genomic RNAs of three Tomato aspermy virus (TAV) isolates in Japan. Analysis of these sequences showed that they have unique characteristics in RNAs 2 and 3. The Japanese isolates are similar to each other compared to other TAVs.

The full-length genomes of two isolates of Rice yellow mottle virus from Ethiopia were sequenced. A comparison with 28 sequences from East Africa showed that they clustered within a new strain named S4et, related to the S4mg and S4ug strains found in the Lake Victoria Basin and Madagascar, respectively.

ABSTRACT We report here the full coding sequence of nine paramyxovirus genomes, including two full-length mumps virus genomes (genotypes G and H) and seven measles virus genomes (genotypes B3 and D4, D8, and D9), from respiratory samples of patients from California, Virginia, and Alabama obtained between 2010 and 2014.

ABSTRACT Here, we report the complete genome sequences of 15 chikungunya virus strains isolated from human plasma from infected patients in Puerto Rico. The results show that currently circulating chikungunya strains in Puerto Rico are closely related.
