<p>In today’s complex business environment, identification of factors affecting customer satisfaction is one of the paramount concerns for the marketing scholars and marketers. This study seeks to explore customer satisfaction and its influencing factors on the mobile telecommunication industry in Bangladesh. As per BTRC, the numbers of mobile phone subscribers are more than 134 million at the end of December, 2015 in Bangladesh. Due to the stiff competition, companies are trying to capture the maximum market share by introducing different new packages, promotional offers and value added services to satisfy the customer’s needs, wants and demands. The existing literature suggests factors such as, price, network quality, product diversity and facilities for the subscribers influence customers’ satisfaction on mobile telecommunication industry. The results of this study signify that all of the identifying factors are significantly and positively correlated with overall customer satisfaction level of Bangladeshi mobile telecom industry. The findings of this study suggest that mobile operators should develop appropriate strategies by taking into consideration of their strengths in satisfying their subscribers as well as by overcoming of their weaknesses by learning from each other services.</p>

Identification of factors responsible for customer satisfaction is a key concern of marketing scholars and marketers in now a days and it will remain in the future. There is considerable evidence that quality factors affecting customer satisfaction in numerous ways. However, this empirical study is initiated to find out what particular factors responsible for customer satisfaction in the mobile telecommunication industry in Bangladesh. 282 samples have been collected through structured questionnaire; study reveals that service innovativeness, service reliability, service competitiveness and service consistency have significant influence on making customer satisfied and the operator’s network/signal coverage, pricing, offering, fulfillment of customer demand, value added service, brand value and operators contribution for society have insignificant influences on making customer satisfied at five percent level of significant at multiple regression analysis. On the basis of these findings; study concludes that in promoting customer satisfaction mobile service providers should be concerned for factors responsible for insignificant influence on customer satisfaction and care of those factors have significant influence on promoting customer satisfaction in telecommunication industry in Bangladesh.

This study was aimed at investigating three factors (service quality, brand image and price perception) and assessed the degree of the impact of each factor on customer satisfaction, especially the relationship between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in Vietnamese mobile telecom sector where there have been the existence of the fierce competition, mature market and internationally integrated economy, ultimately struggling for market share and survival. The results indicated that each factor (service quality, brand image, price perception) has a positive impact on customer satisfaction at the different level as well as a significantly positive relationship between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in mobile telecommunication industry in Vietnam. The results of this study are consistent with the findings and evidence in the extant literature. The study provides the important feedback from customers to mobile telecom suppliers. Research findings are expected to be marketing insights for Vietnamese mobile telecom managers so that they can develop the sound marketing strategies in today’s competitive and costly market.

Purpose: Competition is at the core of existence of firms. This determines the appropriateness of a firm’s activities that can contribute to its performance, such as innovations, a cohesive culture, or good implementation. Many firms have performed poorly in a competitive environemnt due to failure to analyse and strategise on the Porter’s Five Forces, regardless of the industry sector. Competitive strategy aims to establish a profitable and sustainable position against the forces that determine industry competition. The purpose of the study was to  investigate the influence of Porter’s Five Forces on competitive advantage in telecommunication industry in Kenya. The study aims at establishing the extent to which barriers to entry,  rivalry among established firms, bargaining power of buyers, bargaining power of suppliers and substitute products influence competitive advantage of telecommunication industry in Kenya. Methodology:The study adopted desktopresearch. Specifically, the paper identified documentary evidence in the form of already completed studies that focused on influence of porters five forces on competitive advantage both locally, regionally and globally. Findings:The study findings indicated that there was threat of new entrants in the teleommunication industry in kenya due to presence of various competing firms. In addition, although the suppliers in the industry had formed associations to negotiate prices with the input providers, the buyers bargaining power was high. The firms had to strategize on how to attract and retain the customers to avoid shifting from one company to the other. Findings on   bargaining power of buyers of mobile phone providers indicate that, firms have spent time and energy in ensuring their customers are well protected and incentivized so as to stick to their respective mobile networks. Similarly, findings on intensity of rivalry, indicate that to strategize and win in this highly competitive industry, product differentiation, process innovation, product innovation and technological innovation are some of the strategies the companies use to stay ahead.  Findings on threat of substitute products indicate that, the industry has a number of substitutes that can highly influence the profitability of these companies. The study concludes that porters five forces framework indeed influenced performance of telecommunication firms in Kenya. The study also concludes that the threat of new entrants applies to the mobile phone providers in the Kenyan Telecommunication industry due to the presence of various competing organizations. These organizations are offering similar products and services such as mobile money transfer services, handheld devices, airtime and accessories. Unique contribution to theory, practice and policy The study recommends that the telecommunication firms should keep monitoring their business environment so as to structure the appropriate strategies to keep up with competition and technological changes.

The key challenge for the telecommunication business industry in the global world’s is “assuring competitiveness and profitability” for their companies in turbulent environments. Never in history has the pace of change in the business environment been as rapid as it is now. Recent developments such as the global marketplace, customers’ demands that are differentiated by different buying power and product preferences in this environment, technological leadership is one of the key success factor. New technologies and new industries develop rapidly and customers are prepared to pay for the most newest technology. The company’s strengths and successful strategies of the corporate leadership in the past are likely to remain relevant in the future. The research findings revealed that the turbulent environment level in the mobile telecommunication industry was in the discontinuous –strategic level, where the future is not extension of the past. This environment situation facing by Indonesia’s telecomunication industry need the corporate leadership to challenge the organisation survival. This research is based on the qualitative descriptive method by using data obtained from telecommunication industry experts and secondary data.

<p>The key to long-term success in banking is consistent improvement and delivering of quality product and or value-added service that conform to the expectations of customers. IT-innovative products/services and processes (technological innovation) facilitate these key elements of customer satisfaction and critical factors for retaining valued customers. The objective of this paper is to explore the effects of technological innovation on service consistency and the consequential effects on customer satisfaction and loyalty covering seven universal banks in Ghana. The results of the empirically tested model reveal new/improved product/process functionalities, service consistency and innovative product/process satisfaction contribute significantly to customer loyalty (<em>p &lt; 0.001</em>). Service consistency has a marginal higher impact (<em>β </em>= .373) on customer loyalty than the others. Product/process quality contributes significantly (with <em>β</em> ranging from .345 to .742 and <em>p &lt; 0.001</em>) to each of the above three antecedents than all other items.</p>


The beginning of the telecommunication business has been appealing not on time in Bangladesh when to compare Asian countries. The mobile telecommunication of serving is repetition on a yearly basis over the last two or three years. Now in our country four mobile phone operators, one is Robi. Most of the companies are offering diverse innovative packages and offer charge added services for satisfying the customer’s needs &demands. This research is the main objective to find out Customer’s satisfaction with Robi Axiata Limited in the Rajshahi University area. There are different ways which have an effect on the performance. The aim of this paper is to search crucial issues which regularly control the more level of performance of mobile users in the Rajshahi University area. Network of coverage, quality of the network, quality of internet, taxes, customer services, value-added services, payment system; encouraging offers are the utmost valuable issues that feelings customer fulfillment. Robi carries their work till now because of their different 4.5 packages.
