In view of the existing flaws of traditional manual observations, a new type of tailing reservoir safety monitoring and warning system based on ZigBee and LabVIEW was designed. The system chose SoC chip CC2530 as the RF transceiver and designed the low-power wireless sensor networks nodes to collect and process the data of tailing reservoir. It chose ZigBee 2007 as the network communication protocol, and uploaded the data to PC by RS232 serial port. The monitoring and warning interface of PC was completed with LabVIEW. The testing results show that the data transmission of the network is stable and the system is suitable for real-time monitoring and warning of the tungsten tailing reservoir.

Penelitian ini membahas tentang perancangan dan konstruksi node Jaringan Sensor Nirkabel (JSN) dengan topologi point to point berbasis mikrokontroler dan RF Transceiver. Penelitan dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen yakni membangun dua buah node sensor (client dan server) yang dapat berkomunikasi secara nirkabel. Pengiriman data sensor diatur melalui program yang ditanam pada mikrokontroler agar bereaksi sesuai dengan data bacaan sebuah sensor analog. Hasil eksperimen menunjukan bahwa node sensor yang dibangun dapat berkomunikasi dengan baik dan node sensor bereaksi sesuai kode program.This study discusses the design and construction of  Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) nodes based on microcontroller and RF Transceiver with  point to point topologies. Research is carried out by an experimental method that is to build two sensor nodes (client and server) which can communicate wirelessly. Sensor reading data are set via a program embedded in the microcontroller to react according to the data reading from an analog sensor. The experimental results shows that the sensor nodes can communicate well and react according to the sensor node embedded code.

This paper proposes a prevention mechanism for resource exhaustion attack in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN). WSNs are widely used in science, medical, and military applications. However, WSN has problems of small memory, weak processors, and the limited battery power. On the other hands, public key techniques provide powerful security, but they need high energy, memory, computation cost than the symmetric cryptography. Therefore, we propose a more efficient protocol than the existing protocols in WSN, which analyze RSA algorithm and simulate ECC algorithm in CC2420 which is a true single-chip 2.4Ghz IEEE 802.15.4 compliant RF transceiver designed for low-power and low voltage wireless application. We also compared our proposed protocol and other public key-based protocols.
