iSTEM: Integrating Science Technology Engineering in the Mathematics authors share ideas and activities that stimulate student interest in the integrated fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in K'grade 6 classrooms. In this month's lesson, elementary school children in the primary grades learn to create symmetrical structures using wooden blocks. Student interviews and an observational rubric are used to assess the children. Extensions for intermediate elementary grades are provided.

Contributors to the iSTEM (Integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) department share ideas and activities that stimulate student interest in the integrated fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in K–grade 6 classrooms. The authentic STEAM project described here was born of a critical need of one child in the community. Using the Design Thinking framework, a class of fourth graders embarked on what was arguably the most meaningful school project of their lives. We place an explicit focus on the M in STEAM.

Earth Day presents an annual opportunity to discuss sustainability with students. This article describes a six-week unit that integrated sustainability and mathematics at the intermediate elementary school level. Students explored a topic and identified solutions that would support preserving resources for the betterment of our planet. The problem in this study is the low interest in learning of fifth grade students at SDN 10 Manurunge, Tanete Riattang, Bone District. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the description of Student Interest in Class V of the 10th Elementary School Manurunge Tanete Riattang, Bone District and whether there is a significant influence on the application of Ice breaking on student learning interest. The purpose of this study was to describe the interest in learning for fifth grade students at SDN 10 Manurunge Tanete Riattang sub-district, Bone Regency, then to find out the picture of students' learning interest after applying ice breaking to fifth grade students at Manurunge 10 Public Elementary School, and to determine the effect of ice breaking towards student learning interest. The research approach is a quantitative approach. This type of research is quasi-experimental research in the form of a non-equivalent control group design. There are two research variables namely the independent variable (ice breaking) and the dependent variable (learning interest). The total population is 96 students. The research sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire and documentation. Data was collected by giving Pre-test and Post-test and analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Based on the analysis results obtained sig. (2 tailed) 0,000 <0.05 which means that there are significant differences in the average student interest in learning, so it can be concluded that ice breaking has a significant effect on student interest in learning.

This study aims to improve critical thinking skills by using Auditory, Intellectually, Repatition (AIR) learning models assisted by science comics. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of the research were the fifth grade students of Beji 03 Public Elementary School, totaling 27 students. Data collection techniques include tests in the form of evaluation questions and non-test techniques, using observation. Data analysis of critical thinking skills using evaluation questions. To calculate the increase in students using a normalized Gain test. The results obtained by students' critical thinking skills, in the first cycle completeness of 40.74% and the average achieved by 58.96 then in the second cycle the completeness of students increased to 85.18% and the average achieved to be 73.70 it can be concluded that the use of the Auditory learning model, Intellectually, Repatition (AIR) assisted by science comics can improve the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students of Beji 03 Elementary School.
