The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the Blackboard elements during Coronavirus pandemic in light of the quality assurance and accreditation standards from the viewpoint of faculty members at the Mathematics Department, Umm Al-Qura University. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical method was used. The study sample consisted of (45) members of the teaching staff in the mathematics departments of Umm Al-Qura University, who taught mathematics courses during Coronavirus pandemic.  The questionnaire, which consisted of (33) items, was used to collect relevant data. The results of the study indicated that the effectiveness of the four components of the Blackboard that were studied during the Corona pandemic in light of the standards of quality assurance and accreditation was at a medium degree of (3.32), while the effectiveness component of cloud storage on the Blackboard got the highest score (3.68). The effectiveness component of the digital library on the Blackboard got the lowest score among the four elements (3.11). These results suggested the need to increase attention to the requirements of achieving quality assurance and work to raise them in higher education institutions for interactive mathematics courses, as the lack of interest in them may have affected the results and outcomes of mathematics students. The study concluded with a number of recommendations, including supporting the elements of the Blackboard and using them in the educational process, developing and evaluating them in the light of quality standards; conducting further studies on the use of the Blackboard; providing all facilities for the success of the educational process; and seeking to achieve quality and accreditation requirements whenever possible.

Misconception Analysis in Mathematics Education Department Student of STKIP Harapan Bima. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to explore misconceptions in students and students’ views about their misconceptions. The subject in this study were five students of Mathematics Department at STKIP Harapan Bima. Data collection techniques used in this study are tests and interviews. The test questions consist of geometry, probability theory, algebra, and calculus. Interviews were conducted to obtain information about students’ views on the their misconceptions. The result of the research shows that in every mathematics material, students experience misconceptions. Overall, misconceptions are most common in geometric materials, but they are not significantly different from other materials. The type of misconception that is most often experienced by students is confusion because the do not master the supporting cocepts. The misconception that is most rarely experienced by students is wrong classification of concept examples.

This study aims to describe both fact and concept error of students in solving space analytic geometry problems. The subjects of this research are two students of Mathematics Department of Universitas Negeri Makassar. Each of them represents for each error (fact and concept errors). The collecting data were employed by using space analytic geometric tests and depth-interview. Interview guidelines and researcher were as research instruments. Data were qualitatively analyzed, using three stages of analysis: data reduction, data display and concluding. The main findings of this research are (1) the subject of fact error made mistakes in writing vector symbols, (2) the subjects of concept error made mistakes in identifying an equation (plane equation or line equation), since his focus was only in the number of variables of the equation. Keywords: fact error, concept error, space analytic geometry

This research aims to know the essence of the correlative relationship between tactical thinking and solving mathematical problems. The researchers followed the descriptive research method to analyze relations, as all students from the mathematics department in the morning study were part of the research group. The research sample of (100) male and female students has been chosen based on the arbitrators' views. The tools for studying the sample of research composed of (12) items of the multiple-choice test in its final form to measure tactical thinking and require establish-ing a test of (6) test-type paragraphs to solve mathematical problems. The findings showed that sample students' tactical thinking and their capacity to overcome mathematical problems are flat-tering for all students.

Implementation of 2020 census of Indonesian Population is the government’s first step in realizing One Indonesian Population Data. The online census of Indonesian population is one of the stages of the 2020 census of Indonesian Population where residents can enter their information independently through the website. In order to increase public participation in 2020 online census of Indonesian population, BPS Collaborates with universities throughout Indonesia, one of which is the Mathematics Department of Tanjungpura University Pontianak as a census friend. This study aims to provide an overview of the publicity of the online census and its responses as well as the obstacles experienced by census friends, to determine the factors that affect the constraints of census friends, and to examine the effect of gender variables on the constraints of census friends. The results of the analysis show that the social media used in the publication of the 2020 online census are Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Twitter, and Sestyc. The obstacles experienced by census friends amounted to twelve obstacles. The constraint factor which is formed from the factoring process produces two factors. Besides, it was found that there was no influence between the sexes on the constraints of census friends.
